I only stop here because of the location and lack of other eating options. It's just your standard Chilis experience. I order the old timer with no cheese. Burger was filling (portion wise) and overall enjoyed it. I do feel like over the years the burger patty does feel a little more frozen commercial burger taste wise (can't explain to). It's not horrible I just notice it. Better than fast food. Sure. The fries were well seasoned with salt and pepper. Can't go wrong there. The waiter was very polite to us, patient and professional. Have not been here in years. I was hoping to see an improved and updated Chili's but no. It was filthy. Restrooms have not been deep cleaned in what seems to be years. Starting to look like run down convenient store restrooms. There was an unpleasant smell while we dined in, food came out cold and distasteful as usual. I usually love dining at Chili's as I live near one myself, but I wasn't impressed with my recent visit to this location. My family and I decided to stop here for dinner following a day trip to the Valley. Since it was close to 10 p.m. on a Sunday night and Kingsville doesn't have a lot of late night dining options, Chili's was the best bet. It was quite crowded when we arrived, which didn't bother me at all. What disappointed me was my meal, a 3 for Me that prominently featured the Big Smasher Burger. The Burger tasted good, but the bottom bun collapsed on me after a few bites. Also, the men's room could use little maintenance. There were paper towels everywhere. To start with, I came here on a trip with my school, alongside several other schools. I spent 30 minutes after getting my drink order waiting for the waiter to come back and take my meal order. All around me the other schools were getting their food already. My waiter was absolutely nowhere to be seen. It took my teacher to point out that we had not yet gotten our orders taken that our waiter finally returned to take our order. After that, it took about another 30 or 40 minutes for our food to come out. In that time, other people had entered, gotten their food, and left before we got our food. After that, we did not ever again see our waiter, in fact, he switched with another waiter. Two of our orders were wrong, we ordered spicy chicken sandwiches, and they were not at all spicy. It took us another 20 minutes to pay. After that horrid experience, I decided to leave him 100 dollars on an 86 dollar check out of pity, even though that service we received was not at all worthy of even a single dollar tip. I am never coming back to this Chili's establishment. In fact, this experience at Chili's has ruined my image of all Chili's. I am severely disappointed, and my day is ruined. I'm currently on a one hour car ride back to my hometown, and all I can think about is how I want my 14 dollars back. This Chili's is an abomination on all Chili's. Steak quality.Asked for medium. Started eating it and it was rare. I can eat a Rare steak but it better be hot off the grill and tasty. It was below warm and chewy. They took the steak back to cook it medium,but we all know it won't be good cause I had already cut into it. read more

Everything was cold and well, just look at the pictures. Pretty self explanatory. That's just 3 pictures, the rest of the food looked the same. Meh...just an average experience. I was quickly greeted and seated. The wait staff was initially quick and then seemed to just disappear. I ordered the Caribbean salad with shrimp. The taste was great but some of the lettuce was past the point of tired. It looks like they mixed a bit of fresh green with some that were old. The Kingsville Tx location We went in for a Sunday after noon dinner on 10/31/21. First let me say the lady tending bar did a great job.... However, The asshole server was another story. I ordered the new 1 lb bbq burger, first there the server dumped the plate and ran away and hide from us. next there was no bacon slices on the burger. A burger that boasted 6 slices of bacon. Just some crumbs of bacon on a cold burger.I had to go talke to the bartender about the issue while our serve ignored the issue and tryed to hide from us and avoid discussing the issue. I sent the plate back through the bartender and prepared to cash out. The same server came back and tried to charge me for the poor burger that was returned. read more

Only major complaint i had was we were the only 2 people waiting to be seated and i know chili's has a strict "no wait policy" so that was annoying that we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated when it wasn't busy at all. Now the service was average, our waitress checked up on us once after we got our food. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I got the loaded boneless wings and (because I'm pregnant) i asked for extra queso on my wings and they sure loaded me up! My fiancé got the smokehouse burger and he said the only complaint was the onions were really large and he thought they would be "crumb like onions" but other than that he said it was a juicy burger. The chips and salsa weren't that good, the salsa tasted like straight tomatoes and that's it. Ordered a Santa Fe Salad and a cup of chili to go. I arrived at this location and a sign said go to the bar to pick up order. I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, then close to 10 more minutes until I received my food. The salad is suppose to come with avocado, there was none. I am also in the military so I inquired about a military discount, they did offer me one, I can only assume the man that came out to swipe his card was the manager. Honestly love going to this location since it's one of the nicer restaurants that our small town offers. Great scenery, drinks and food but be forewarned, I have recently tried their all famous ribs and they were honestly god awful. They tasted extremely over seasoned and had little to no meat, but a complete abundance of fat and nerves. Avoid the ribs, order anything else, their food is honestly very delicious and the staff are always in a good mood even if they're absolutely packed with customers! Disappointed with this Chilli's experience. Normally I'm a big Chilli's fan; however, I found the food at this particular location to be below the normal Chilli's standard. I ordered the Chipotle chicken fresh mex bowl, it was cold on arrival and lacked flavor. We ordered two mixed drinks when we sat down and the drinks were not delivered until the food arrived. We also ordered chips and they were lukewarm and lacked the crispness I normally associate with Chilli's chips. My fiancé & i ordered a to go order, came to pick it up, and when we got home the fries were stale and looked like they had been sitting out for a long time, and the pasta was cold. We called the manager, and all he did was tell us he was going to re make the food and that we could go back and pick it up. We didn't receive an apology, or any kind of sympathy. We had to drive back, wait another 15 minutes to get the food and drive home. No refund, or offer for anything. It inconvenienced our night and the service was just awful. Best place to eat in town bar none. I spent nearly six months living out of a hotel and after eating at every place in and around Kingsville ended up eating at Chili's almost every night. The staff was excellent - helpful, friendly, always suggesting new things for me. The food was great - I can't recommend their salmon dish enough! We stop here on our way home to Austin from South Padre Island because the service is fast, the restaurant is clean, and because they are sensitive to food allergies. Gluten free items are marked and calorie counts are provided. I love chili's. my family and i go all the time. but this specific location is awful. Troy and adam are two of the most lazy managers there. One time my family came down to visit and had the worst experience. we saw our sever twice.
