I am over the Chili's to go at this restaurant! The only thing I order to go is Cajun chicken pasta with extra sauce that I have to pay a $1 for and sometimes extra chicken which costs an extra $7.69. If I pick up my order I check EVERYTHING however if someone in my family picks it up they don't always check it. Tonight I ordered Cajun chicken pasta with extra sauce and extra chicken. The price before tax and tip $23.68. Yes that's expensive but it's 2-3 meals for me, well it used to be. The plastic container they put the food in used to be almost full and I felt equal to what I would get if eating in the restaurant. They handled a busy post football game Friday night very well. In addition, I left my iPad there and didn't realize it until I got home to Austin--a two hour drive away. Shana was extremely helpful--instead of me having to go all the way back there to get it, she told me she was coming to Austin for a meeting and could arrange to meet me. It was hard to get a spot to meet so she left it with a manager of a Chili's in Austin and I got it from them. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help me out. They did not have to go to so much trouble but did so without hesitation. I'll definitely visit next time I'm in Pleasanton. read more

We order from here often. Sometimes we sit inside, mostly we get our stuff to go. It is a little pricey, however I'm sure price is not necessarily dictated by each location. The menu seems to change regularly and it seems like every time we have a favorite, it is removed. One of my kids REALLY wishes the grilled cheese would come back, and the whole family really misses the cheese bites. We usually will order kids cheesy chicken pasta and grilled cheese. I like the option to add the extra side for only a $1. We also usually get a cheeseburger, a smokehouse plate, brisket quesadillas, grilled chicken bacon burger, or the Santa Fe chicken salad. Love the option for the kids to get mini molten cakes for cheaper. Everything we have ordered over the years have been mostly good. We have had some not so great experiences as well, but overall, it's been fine. I think that the most accurate statement for this place is, it's hit or miss, but mostly good. Same goes for service. This places needs better servers. The lady that served me was so rude for no reason. She even got my order wrong I told her nicely that that wasn't what I had order & her response was " no I didn't hear that it was chicken" then left real rude to check her Pat and realized she was wrong. I stay in the area on business out of Houston. Great place, great food and management. However. I had small sniffles and this regular at the bar with semi long grey hair leaves and taps me then says " you know what will clear that up? vicks!!!" I am originally from western canada so i thought he was being nice and said oh thank you and said the weather gets to me. he gave me the I want to kill you glare and i did not realize what was going on until later. very aggressive and he needs more than vicks to correct his issue. A bible would be a good start. ......Anger over someone sniffing....wow. I went back in two weeks later at same time and he was there and I sat away from him as much as I could. Very aggressive man and sometimes restaurants and bars should watch their regulars and even ask them to leave if necessary or behave to realize business comes from new visitors or business which we are planning to build her with at least 50 employees and this will not be a place I will tell them to go to only because of this man who was loud and ignorant the second time I saw him and stayed away from him. I was even in the parking lot today and decided after 45 minutes sitting there not to go in. I wanted to but because of that experience decided not to. I won't be too descriptive but he sits at bar on far left side around much time or just after. Just ate here. Very cold inside and with a group of 4. We all commented on how cold it was and how the other patrons were either shivering or had jackets on. The response we got was our waitress was hot because she was busy. We were going to order cocktails but it was too cold. We had to ask a few times to get our order in. We love Chili's. their menu changes all the time, and we always find something we like. But.... this is the worst Chilis I have been to. Their food, cleanliness, and service are always last among the Chili's that we have tried. It was great 5 years ago, and we have had good food and service here on many occasions since. It just isn't consistent. Pleasanton allows smoking, and so does this Chili's, but the restroom is across the smoking area like running a gauntlet through all the smoke. The bacon is limp unless requested, the burgers are rare unless requested, the Crispy Chicken Crispers are cold and tough inside the mushy fried batter. Don't give up on Chili's if you ate here. I'm not exactly sure what happened here, but this location was the bomb 3 years ago. I used to come here all the time when I was working in Tilden. I recently became reacquainted, and was unpleasantly surprised that it sucks now. Eating at Chilis and being disappointed has become a recurrent theme in my life. This location is used to be busy, and they used to do a great job of handling it. Last time I went, it was empty, and not just the dining area. I gave up on waiting for the hostess and went to the bar... I traded looking for the hostess for looking for the bartender. Food was cold, service poor. The food is normally decent, depending on when you get in. The last time we visited was with my boyfriend and his grandmother. We enjoyed the meal, despite how long it took to get our food. On the other side of a dividing wall, we got to hear a family complain about their food being messed up, which is always pleasant with dinner. the worst chili's i've visited . mgr amanda should not be in charge of running a restaurant . she lacks customer service skills . if a customer decides to go out to eat or order take out they are paying for service and expect the order to be accurate . if the restaurant fails to double check the order for accuracy and customer does not get what they are paying for it should be on them to make it right . don't blame the customer for your employees mistake . don't think every customer is complaining in order to get a free meal . check every meal twice for accuracy wether it is for a dine in customer or take out order . its that simple people !!! take an extra 1-2 minutes to verify all orders going out and avoid an unhappy customer . how hard is that ??????? read more

If I could rate this chilli's with zero stars, I truly would.. The waitress had no idea what she was doing, I'm surprised she even remembered what we ordered. I ordered a kids meal for my younger brother & the chicken crispers tasted like anything but chicken nor properly cooked chicken. I attempted at giving chilli's a break so I ignored the "chicken" incident and ordered another kids meal.. Cheeseburger bites, which were pink... No, not even pink.. Well I hate to add to the negativity about this place, but tonight leaves me no choice. Went in with my cousin and it was about 45 minutes to closing so I was hoping to order quickly and get out so they could close up. Well no hostess or waitress to be found. Finally asked bartender for some help she was very nice. Well, long story short, cousins food was ice cold my "beef" nachos were needless, and the togo order I asked for my wife was never put in. Luckily it was a salad so pretty easy. But the waitress never came to check on us never got a manager and acted like nothing was wrong. Some serious training issues here. Will not be back! read more

Moved back to dining area and they didn't even offer us bar prices...served my Presidente in a high ball glass, drinks delivers in about 4 minutes, the waiter went through his 4 years of sobriety with us, food was just warm. My husband's well done burger had blood dripping out of it that went all over his fries, my original 1/2 rack of ribs was chewing on the toe of a boot, and my corn was so cold it wouldn't melt the butter. This is a restaurant waiting to kill someone or hospitalize them one. The to-go girl that waited on my husband had the nastiest fingernails I've ever seen. And this was the 2nd time we had tried to get some decent food. The first time I placed the order online, when my husband got there they said they didn't have that order. When I called them the manager found the ticket and our food sitting on the counter. This order was supposed to be free but we paid for it anyway. My sister in law made reservations before 6 for 730, got there and no one had written it down. Not one person would own up to taking her call. She spoke to the manager, Rene, and he was extremely rude. Said our party could go ahead and leave. They did not even try to get any tables together to seat us, didn't put a name down for our party, and didn't give us any information as to what had happened or where the confusion may have occurred. I asked for the number for corporate and the manager told me he would get it for me, then proceeded to avoid me. However, placed an order with substitutions and ended up with a piece of fish with so much chili pepper on it that i had to scrape the seasoning off to eat it.
