I didn't quite trust it as there are plenty of bars in the area between Ocean Springs and D'Iberville, but I wanted an extensive bourbon and whiskey selection for the hubs, no crap! I checked out the photos and zeroed in. Upon arrival, I was completely shocked to find out that it's inside a casino resort. I missed that in my search. It's hidden in plain sight! First and foremost, who knew there were sprawling casinos situated behind residential neighborhoods in Mississippi?! Wow! -- I digress. We committed and we went for it. I'm so glad we did! We were immediately greeted by Josh, bartender extraordinaire, and the rest is history. Remember that extensive bourbon and whiskey selection we were looking for? ... FOUND IT! Butler's literally has it all, and Josh is the perfect handler! He's knowledgeable about the different brands, aging processes, and truly proved himself to be an expert in the field. Aside from the bar, Josh suggested that we sign up for rewards (which we did) and try the food (which we did as well). Overall, he's a team player and made us feel at home. We initially planned to stop in for drink or two, and ended up playing a few slots, and staying for dinner. All in all, our introductory trip to Butler's definitely won us over, and we'll be back soon!

Then the door is opened. The space is beautiful and stylish with a cozy, upscale feel. There is also a sign posted for appropriate attire required, which adds to the classy atmosphere and helps keep the vibe elegant. Building parking is located on the south side and towards the second apartment building. You can make a reservation on their website if you want, but they did mention that their reservation system can be a little unreliable at times. I had a reservation and they were still able to get me in with no problem, but it didn't seem like they saw or recognized the reservation when I arrived. They only serve tapas and small plates, which is perfect for light snacking while you enjoy drinks. The cocktails were really good, fairly priced, and the service was friendly and relaxed. The bathroom was clean, but it is shared (not separated by gender). There is one bathroom inside the bar and an additional one located outside the main bar door in a different location. One small suggestion would be the lighting. It was very bright inside, and a darker environment would really help set a better mood and tone to match the speakeasy vibe. Overall, this is a great place if you're looking for a calm, stylish spot with good drinks, decent prices, and a more mature crowd.
