Hands down. Service is quick, the food always come out quickly and if you get take-away there's always a free entree/main offered. They have a full bar as well! For $9 we got a beer and rum & coke. Parking is accessible from Higgins St. It's the carpark with a chain gate entry from the Lane. It's one-way without entry from High St so worth looking at a map before driving :)

I wanted to get one to take home but forgot all about it. Service was better than usual from what I've gotten here in Australia.  Could be because the staff knew the group I was with.  I ordered the Famous Eggs Bene on a ciabatta bread.  Wait time took longer than expected.  It was busy but  not that big thing. We were a party of 12 and lots to talk about.  When the orders started coming out it was not consistent.  What I mean is there were some long waits between dishes.  By the time the last person got their order some of us were done except for the coffee. My bene was very good.  Eggs were poached to perfection.  The hollandaise sauce was nice, gooey thick but not over cooked.  Wow.  I did like the ciabatta better than the English muffin.  I chose to have the smoke salmon and spinach which I thought was an excellent combination.  It certainly tasted that way.  When the egg poured over the salmon that was tasty.  The lemon from the sauce brought out more of smokey salmon.  It was a nice contrast too.  The spinach didn't do any thing for me there but it was fresh.  Maybe order a side of bacon next time to raise this to an even higher level. To my amazement only one dish was a bit too spicy for half of the people that don't eat much chili at all :-)) It's a very cosy and modern restaurant with a big bar in the very front and seating all around from small couches to tables. Fashioned after an apartment style with a bit of comfort and normal dining settings. The place allows BYO for wine and champagne and there is a bottle shop directly opposite the restaurant. They charge you $6 pp for corkage which is quite ok. The menu is extensive and has lots of small plates and Thai Tapas dishes from cold to warm. We ordered a whole bunch of small dishes and four mains to share. The mussaman curry was a bit disappointing (it's Malay rather than Thai) but the rest was excellent. The pork balls were to die for. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food arrived quickly despite the place being jam packed and they had a small band playing live music which did not interfere with the ambience or the conversation. Vegetables included carrots and onions, with some red bell pepper and zucchini; they could have been cooked a bit longer or cut into thinner/smaller pieces to absorb more flavour (especially the chunks of carrot). Squid was soft in texture. In general, the flavour of the noodle dish was a bit uneven; some bites were tasty while other bites were a bit lacking, so I would have liked some more flavour in the dish Also I tried a bite of the Chilli basil chicken mince dish which was flavourful The place is small and casual, with not many tables, but it was fairly quick and comfortable to get to sit down and grab a tasty lunch. They offer each of their dishes with the freshest of ingredients which are visible from the counter. Their is no frozen vegetables going on in this joint. They offer a lunch special for $8.50 with several options that include chicken, beef, Veg or pork. Duck and seafood options come with a premium. Theirs also the option of brown rice for an extra $1. I have had lunch here quite a few times and for the price your getting a decent feed. Today I went for Ginger Dish with Beef and Brown rice. Good option for something to get you through a few hours before dinner but I like my meat and this time they weren't super generous on the portions of meat. Flavours were very wholesome though and will frequent the joint again in the not too distant future.
