Wow did I have the best time! I did know about this place until I moved to the area. They have so much going on here. Mtn biking is huger this place with some great trails. They have a mountain coaster too. They got my attention for a go to destination. The ziplining team was great. They have a basic run and more advance run. We took the adv one. We will be back for more events no doubt !"

When you drive in to the resort, the Aerial Adventure park is visible right away. When I first saw it, it seemed smaller than I expected and I thought we would be done in a flash. Let me assure you, the aerial adventure course is a LOT more complex than it looks and it was fun and challenging for all of us, from teens to older adults. There are two levels to the course - first you do the lower level and then if you want to try the more challenging higher level you move on to that. Both levels are included in your ticket. Each section of the course is unique: some have zip lines, there are some climbing sections to get from one point to another, some have balance activities, and some rely on strength and ingenuity. Everyone wears a harness, so you are always safe (I did end up dangling a few times and was grateful for the harness!). Staff here is awesome and they train you before you go up into the course. The Mountain Coaster is also fun, although when we went around noon on a summer Friday, we had to wait in line for about 45 minutes to get on. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to roller coasters, but I LOVED the Mountain Coaster, where I go to zip down a mountain surrounded by trees and nature, and I could control the speed. I would love to do this again, but would plan to go earlier in the morning to hopefully avoid the crowds.

*Only gave 1 star because there is no option for ZERO stars…read more I will sum this business up in one sentence: I rented my house through tpw, and the renters they swore they adequately qualified, caused thousands of dollars of MAJOR DAMAGE to my home. They did not take a proper deposit. They did not have a copy of the renters' license or credit card on file, in fact, they did not even personally hand the keys to the renters to confirm that they were the right people, they just left the keys in a mailbox for them. They claimed they would pay us for the damage to "make things right" but then changed course and said they never said that. They gave us nothing. I could go on and on. Bottom line: tpw is new to the valley and they already have a bad reputation, probably because they don't care about your home at all, they just want to make money regardless of the cost. If you use tpw to rent your home, neither you, nor they have any idea who they are putting in your house, and if any damage is done, good luck, you're going to have to claim through your own insurance. you might as well just hand your keys to a bunch of strangers...

Do not patronize TPW…read more We are renters in a condo that is managed by TPW. After complaining about smoking outside of our unit for two months and being told to watch for "immediate results," we found out that the property manager at TPW had never even reached out to the tenant. On a separate occasion, the stairs to our unit needed to be repaired. TPW required that we vacate our home for 3 days, then they filled in the cracked stairs with an epoxy that started chipping the week after they put it in. Apparently they fix the stairs in this way before every winter. Unprofessional and disorganized. Not good qualities for a management company.

It was not perfect, but 4 of us stayed comfortably and we easily could have hosted 4 others although maybe less comfortably. Check-in and service we received were great. We called twice before coming, one call was better (a middle aged male I think) and one was less than optimistic (younger female) but the person did seem to warn us that they would try to get is to our unit by the 4pm check in time. Honestly, I don't fault someone setting expectations correctly so I didn't hold this against them-I prefer truth and by being a little concerned maybe that made me pleasantly surprised when they were prepared to let us in before 4pm (but we did arrive later than we would have had the lady not warned us). Also noteworthy - every conversation we had with guest services were very pleasant and there was ALWAYS someone or multiple people at the desk. This was in early to mid May just to give you context. The unit itself was well appointed if a little tired in some places (couch was a bit dated as were some of the dinning room chairs) but the kitch and baths seemed good, save low water pressure and hot water taking a bit to come up as someone else mentioned. Heating unit was good, never tried the A/C. All the locks, cable/TV, stoves, etc. worked flawlessly (minus a crack in a carafe that must have been there prior to our arrival), we were even able to hook up a streaming stick in one of the units (not the other because of the model of the TV) which helped us enjoy the unit a lot in the evenings. The Pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic. The temp of the Jacuzzi was warm-like it should be-so I do recommend either getting out as advised after 20-30 mins or going into the pool to cool off a bit before going back. I'm sure the timing of our visit was key but our party used the facilities several times before anyone else were using them-I wouldn't expect this but we tried to go at dinner time to have some time to ourselves and we got lucky every time...and that worked well as we are late eaters. The location we are use to because we have stayed down the road at the now closed Bentley Brook (which we loved) and love the location of the resort in Hancock. Due note, for almost anything you have a 15-30 minute drive to Pittsfield, Williamstown, etc. on the East Side of the mountain the place is nesteld or Stephenstown and New Lebanon to the West/Southwest. We have stayed in the Berkshires a lot over the years and really like this quiet area. We tend to take road trips on nice weather days and have been virtually every direction in a circe about 1.5 hours. Other than the obvious close towns of Williamstown, North Adams, Pittsfield, Lenox and New Lebanon (which has a few close decent/good restauants) we recommend day trips to Albany, Great Barrington, Bennington VT and Hudson/Catskill NY. Saratoga and Lake George are a little farther and would require a long day but are doable from there if you are ambitious. Def would stay here again in a few years...but we have been to the Berkshires in most seasons and are good on it now for a bit. Hope this helps someone make the decision.

Per Airbnb policy, I requested a refund. That is when I realized that while a lot of people are stepping up to help each other, this crisis has truly brought the worst out in some people. Not only did the owner Liz not agree to refund my money, I was horrified by the kind of response I got, which is as follows - "I believe you are suffering from 'Progressive' thinking, a form of self-obsession, which brought us this pandemic: The weight of the Billionaire Liberal Elite Ruling Class over its slave-labor minions whose herd is being culled... Forgive us, Lord, for we know not what we do. If you don't get what's really going on ($$$$), please get informed on my (Hidden by Airbnb) page: Liz Dery in the red dress." I am truly appalled that someone would think like this, particularly in the middle of a crisis. I would STRONGLY advise steering clear of this place!!

The outdoor area is very peaceful and the river is always beautiful but that was it. The cabin was filthy. There was dust and spiders and filth in all corners. The bathroom has no windows and the water smells terrible you when you shower or brush your teeth. Place was dark and not well kept at all. Air conditioner wasn't working well at all so the cabin was hot and stuffy. Jacuzzi was filthy so we didn't even use it . It wasn't relaxing unless you were outdoors away from the cabin. I added photos for you guys to see how filthy it was. Don't waste your time or money staying here. We stayed here before and it was much more clean and well kept so not sure what happened over the years. It is super outdated and needs a complete make over. The owner also has no respect for Covid and even had a folder on the coffee table about how Covid is fake etc etc. That also made us super uncomfortable. Find another place in Vermont if you want to relax and enjoy your stay this isn't it.

From the main lodge are a couple of very short and slow lifts that take you up to areas which give you access to additional lifts. I really liked the variety of runs and that it wasn't overcrowded. My only complaint was how slow most of the lifts are... but that didn't detract much from my overall experience.

Okemo is part of…read morethe Epic Pass resorts owned by Vail which means that if you buy a pass early you can get skiing a reasonable rate, in 2026 the multiday pass was about $75 a day. Getting to the resort is easy, it is located just off the main street of Ludlow, Vt., which was about a 30 minute drive from where we were staying in Londonderry, Vt. There are a number of parking lots; both days we arrived early so we had a choice of the 2 free lots near the base area. Equipment drop off is easy and the walk from the lots is not too far. The biggest issue is to get through the resort to the base lodge entails quite a lot of stairs. The lodge itself is what you would expect, nothing fancy but more than serviceable. The restrooms and changing areas are downstairs, which is made a bit harder by the angled staircase, which can be a bit challenging when you are in ski boots. The changing areas have seasonal lockers, rental lockers and free racks for bag storage which is appreciated. At the base lodge you have 2 lifts that take you up the beginner area and allows you to access the rest of the mountain. The main lift for the main face is a high speed 6 pack with ubble covers for the chairs. From the top you can make it to the other areas of the mountain. We skied all of the areas of the resort the Main Face, the South Face, Solitude and Jackson Gore. Okemo is great for cruising the Blues and groomed Black runs. Even though the conditions were icy and not everything was open Okemo provides plenty of variety and skiing. I really enjoy skiing at Okemo, the mountain is pretty easy to navigate. There are a wide variety of runs especially for intermediate skiers. A really fun and enjoyable couple of days skiing.

The basement has a huge footprint but it's not open to the public. Instead, it's used for storage and employee purposes. The entire group of ski areas from Stowe to Killington, Magic, Stratton, Bromley, Mount Snow and Haystack are visible from the top.
