VIP experience! Thank you Joshua P. & Jeanne. You're an asset to the establishment. Nice job! I had 16 in my party and everyone had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and unique! Service was amazing! Whatever we needed the team was standing by to assist quickly. Dining room is very clean and beautifully decorated . A beautiful layout I must say. Overall this is an award winning VIP restaurant experience. You can't go wrong

So I was told that China Blue has one of the best Peking Duck in all of Manila. My cousin who lived in Hong Kong, said that China Blue was even better than Honk Kong. But I was also told that reservations are very hard to get. God was looking out for me, because we got a reservation. The Peking Duck was great. So delicious of flavor and the proper crispness of the skin. Also they give you everything you pay for. There was plenty of crispy skin, thin slices of duck breast, and had it deep fried for the 2way. We also got a few of their popular dishes like the truffle mushroom buns, the grouper and a beef tenderloin with asparagus which was so tender. We also got a pork with tendon hotpot. Fall off the bone with intense flavor. This will be a top spot to visit when in the Philippines especially when you're in the Pasay area not too far from the airport. I'll have to do some research if there's a China Blue in the USA.

"Hands down, this place is WORTH IT! Yes, the prices are a bit steep, but trust me, every cent is justified. The ambiance is straight fire - sleek, modern interiors that'll make you feel like you're dining like royalty. But what really gets me is the food - creative, bold flavors that will leave you craving for more. Service? Our server was attentive without being overbearing. If you're looking to splurge, this is the spot !

This place is super boujie but also great dimsum. Definitely enjoyed the selections and the interior is beautiful. If you want some good dimsum then this is the place to go.

If you are looking for the best Chinese restaurant in Manila, Philippines, you have to visit China Blue at the Conrad Hilton. This is the bastion of highly acclaimed Singaporean chef Jereme Leung, who has practiced his master culinary skills in Hong Kong. His many awards and accolades in gastronomical contests are showcased on entering the restaurant. I was told that the 8 chefs who work in the glass kitchen are recruited from Hong Kong. The decor and plate settings in the restaurant are high class and something to write home about. We ordered shrimp and pork steamed dumplings, large steamed mushrooms, shrimp with beans, chicken stir fry, fish, eggplant and tofu. All these dishes were extraordinary, oozed with freshness, flavor and distinctive Chinese tastes. We also had fried rice. For dessert there was a lychee dish and we also ordered the mango custard. Both desserts were exceptional. Service was superb. This restaurant is undoubtedly, the gastronomic high temple for all devotees of Chinese cuisine in Manila.

Prawns with Cantaloupe 9/10 The cantaloupe was super fresh and paired nicely with that Prawns.

Looking for traditional Chinese, This is your spot in the PI. This restaurant is located at the Conrad and a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it if you are in the mood for Real and good quality Chinese food. They serve Suckling Pig & Roasted Duck (Call Ahead for these items). They have Dim Sum for Lunch and Dinner service is considered high end dining so dress nice and bring your wallet. We had both Beef options, Sautéed and Hot pot, Had the Tofu which was a bit soft for me but packed with flavor. The prawns were great and Dessert was nicely plated and not over sweet. Service is on point, well it's the Conrad so it has to be. Overall 8/10

Wow . What a gorgeous restaurant and the dimsum was quite excellent too. It's in the Conrad Hilton hotel outside of Manila main. Surrounded with shopping malls and casinos and classy hotel/resort and convention center . Wish I was more hungry as I would have loved to try more dishes . Interior decoration spared no expense . Service good and the serving pieces was gorgeous

I've been wanting to go back here and finally we did tonight! The ambiance, the excellent service, the delicious food and the wonderful staff has not changed! It's still one of the best restaurants in the Philippines (in my humble opinion) We ordered the Peking duck, the bird's nest soup, the scallops with vegetables, the Wagyu beef cheeks and the XO fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious and the Peking duck was prepared table side (and a second dish was prepared). Unfortunately we were still on a diet so we just took home the second duck dish. Kudos to Jane, Chelle and Dunn for the fabulous dining experience and for the yummy sorbet dessert!!!!! The friendly and courteous attention we received from them was much appreciated! Again, highly recommend China Blue!!!!!

China Blue in the Conrad Manila has glorious ambiance to behold, that invokes modern atmosphere while keeping traditional touches of the Chinese culture. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been into with fantastic decor with spectacular view of Manila Bay. The food presentation was excellent for every dish and tasted very very good, from appetizers to desserts. I can't say this is the best Chinese food in Manila but comming from New York with the many top notch Chinese restaurant offerings it was up there with the best I tried.  As prices go this is real high for Manila but only one third of what yo would pay in New York with less ambiance. I was only sorry I didn't try the bird nest soup because it was 2,700 pasos , a little more than $50 USD but afterwards I realized it would have been over $200 in New York and made with lesser quality ingredients with questionable freshness. If you looking for a great place for lunch or dinner and need to impress you guess then this is the place.

What a lovely restaurant. I loved the aesthetic design of the place, the place settings, and the fact that you can see Manila Bay. The food was delicious and a sight for the senses, with a creative and playful take on many classics. The food was beyond beautiful, it was also delicious. I loved the mushroom steamed buns that looked like mushrooms and the abalone swans. The tea was also so fragrant and a lovely addition to the meal. It was definitely a delight and I would love to come back when in Manila.

IF YOU REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM THIS REVIEW, IT IS THAT YOU MUST EAT THIS STEAMED BUN WITH EGG YOLK PASTE! It starts off as your typical dessert siopao bun, but when you bite into it, you get a burst of creamy, yellow, salted egg yolk sauce. Heaven! Remember to let it cool a bit first, I almost burned my tongue! :D We also had the Xiao Long Bao (P228) and the Shrimp & Pork Siumai (P298), which were also quite good, but the Steamed Bun with Egg Yolk Paste is the one I am recommending to everyone I know!

When Modern Shanghai opened, I got attracted to it mostly because it was new and because of the very nice interiors. Giving-in to curiousity, my Dad and I gave their Mall of Asia branch a try. We ordered the Schezuan Noodles with Spicy Peanut sauce, which we found wasn't as spicy as the other ones we've tried. This may actually be a good thing since it can suit those who can't stand spicy food, and the ones like us who like it spicy can just add chili. We also sampled their Xiao Long Bao which was good and juicy, with a mild after taste. What I absolutely love is that they have blooming tea! They serve the cup with the dried bloom and leaves, then pour hot water into the cup for you to watch. It's interesting and wonderful to watch! Something one must witness at least once.

It is located on the UG Upper Ground Floor of the Nuwa casino hotel. The GM for the hotel was standing in front of the restaurant to greet us! I did not realize I was that SPECIAL. My companion Kim was simply swept off her feet by this display of simple luxury. I ordered way too much items because I was so excited to be in this magnificent dining room. I ordered 2 Foie Gras dishes and a truffle stuffed chicken dish, a fish maw soup, a walnut chicken dish, an abalone shiumai. I haven't seen it elsewhere) and it is right in front of Duty Free Shopping Mall in Parañaque. It is as you would expect any Chinese restaurant that's been there for quite a while: a little run down, smelling of bleach, the toilet (which is right next to the counter/kitchen, hmm) smells strongly of urinal cake... But somehow, families find themselves flocking to Luk Foo every time there's a big occasion... Or rather, anytime they want to eat Chinese food that's not just dumplings. Luk Foo has some of the best and affordae Chinese cuisine I've ever had. They're particularly known for the fresh sea food they have swimming in the tanks outside the restaurant. Our family always orders the steamed grouper (Lapu-Lapu), prawn with garlic sotanghon and salt and pepper crab. You won't regret ordering a full seafood menu, they're all fresh from the tanks! And if you're at a loss with what to order, you can always ask the waitresses or the manager, because they give pretty damn good recommendations. This is a good place to celebrate any occasion-- just as long as you're not bothered with how gritty it is.

The food itself has a nice variety from offering dimsum to Peking duck and braised pork. Although the food was enjoyable, we noticed there was a cockroach crawling on our table in the middle of the meal. If it didn't have that, I would've rated this 5 stars. Maybe would recommend this on a less busy day when the staff has more time to clean up? P.S. the food really is good, which is why it's not a 1 star from the cockroach. If this was the US, it would be one of those restaurants with a low food safety grade/score but still open because the food is just that good.

I was given the menu, the server showed me where to find the "solo items". I ordered the brisket and the roast pork. Service is slow here. Well almost everywhere. I don't understand that though????? There's so many staff even in the kitchen but it's just so slow! First I got my brisket. Being my first time there I was wondering where the rice was. So I asked the server who brought my brisket and I asked him really nice too! But he looked at me like I'm stupid and said something I really didn't comprehend because I was just surprised at his attitude. Then before he could leave I asked for some napkins and it's like he took a deep breath bec the napkin holder was on my table, but was behind the table card advertising! Gosh I'm sorry I didn't see it! I just felt so uncomfortable after that, almost wanted to leave but I was so hungry I stayed. Which was an unfortunate decision because I just felt again uncomfortable when he was around, pushing chairs next to my table like he was mad or something. Well anyway, got my brisket and it seems like eternity before I even got my roast pork! As in! At least 15 minute passed already. I wonder why it took sooooooo long?????? It wasn't that crowded. I could see the kitchen staff looking out, watching the band or whatever commotion is happening outside. Well the brisket just had a weird taste and the roast pork, I wish the skin was more crispy. The rice was cold already, it was probably sitting there for a long time. I called the manager to hand him my comment card and tell him my dining experience. That one server who brought out my brisket just left a very bad taste in my mouth! Would I recommend this restaurant...... absolutely NOT!
