The first impression honestly is not good, there were towels drying on racks, open jars of food sitting on the bathroom counter, etc. The full body massage was so so. The lady had good pressure but all against my bones! I've never had anyone rub against my bones (spine, scapula, and hip) so much during a massage. I also had terribly knots on my neck, and I was hoping she would notice and work on it but she didn't. (I guess I should have said something so no points off there.) Not only I would not return because the massage was meh, they tried to make us use the atm to get cash to pay. I had specifically called and asked if they took credit card, and they said that they did. But when we were paying, she asked if we had cash. And then tried to walk us to the atm to get cash. And when we refused she took the credit card. Now, that makes me feel really uncomfortable, businesses shouldn't try to force me into using a payment method I don't want to use. And it does make me question why they want to be paid in cash, so bad that they would put an atm machine in their tiny shop. :/ read more

One of many local reflexology businesses in south Edmond located along 15th street. This is my second visit to this location. The first visit with a friend was for reflexology. It was so-so. They have a couple of small semi-private​ rooms for reflexology​ and a couple for traditional massage. This visit, I stopped by for a massage. The staff is pleasant. The offer walk-in​ services. The music system in the rooms was good (that is a plus since the therapist left the door partially open to the hall during my massage.) Lots of bustle and noise made for a less than relaxing massage. The tables are hard and lacked any type of padding other than the two sheets and a small pillow they provided for your head. On the hygiene​ subject, I became very uncomfortable during my massage when the therapist used her hair combs to pull back my fine hairs on my neck. My hair was already in a rubber elastic and could easily have been moved. I noticed that they left a comb near the mirror for clients to use. All I could think of is the possible transmission of lice. Eek. There were wood planks just thrown under my massage table (easily noticeable​ when you lay face down). The massage was meh. I've definitely had better massages at many of the other reflexology/massage studios. Probably not worth revisiting a 3rd time. read more

I just visited China Healing Massage for the second time, both times as a walk in. I have had Tony both times, and I am kicking myself mentally for having waited so long to go back. I walked in with so much upper back and neck tightness that I couldn't turn my head and, after the 30 minute chair massage, I am transformed! It is so rare to find a masseuse who isn't afraid of pressure. My knots are so tough that if it isn't seriously hurting me while they're worked on, they won't come out. Most masseuses will shy away from the pressure leaving me in more pain after forking over tons of money. Not here! Tony has worked magic on me twice now, and I'm a believer! I will be a regular from now on. The 30 minute chair massage is $30 and I have paid 40 in cash both times ($10 tip). I read the reviews warning about bringing cash, so I was prepared. I have no problem tipping well for such a fantastic service! Now, they really don't speak English at all. I tried to make an appointment to return before leaving and I think they told me to call tomorrow....not exactly sure, but even if i didn't understand, it looks like I could reliably just walk in next time as well. Lastly, I waited a really long time before trying this place out the first time. I wasn't sure if the walk in thing was true and was afraid of the stories about cash and tipping. Pros: If you have knots then this is the place to go. If you have knots you are unaware of, they will be discovered and dealt with. Cons: Poor communication. Switching massage therapist in the middle of the massage. Switched from female to male who couldn't understand or speak to me. Your full body is covered in a thick sheet. Only your back gets massaged for 15 mins with oil, the rest of the massage is done over the thick blanket which makes you super hot. Then he placed hot stones on my back which I wasn't expecting. It was really hot and just wanted it to be over. I paid upfront for 75 minutes but was only given an hour and the tip did not meet my expectations. Just wasn't for me. I was looking to relax and I am now sore and burned. read more

I have visited this place at least 10X's by now. I request Judy every time but recently she was out of town so I had a therapist named YoYo that I really liked also. A typical massage follows a similar pattern every single time and always includes some hot stones on your back followed by a hot towel. The emphasis here is definitely on the back. The people that work here have very limited English so trying to communicate much beyond rudimentary conversation is useless. The prices are very reasonable - currently 60mins for $50. They much prefer you pay cash and will basically ask you for it if you try to use a card. But I believe cards are accepted with a fee. They always give you a small mini bottle of water when you leave. read more

I have been a loyal client of China Healing Massage since its opening the summer of 2011. The decor and music are beautiful and calming after a stressful day. The massage therapists are expertly trained in acupressure techniques and always seem to find the areas that need the most work even if there is sometimes a language barrier. They have many different types of massages such as hot stone, deep tissue, herbal soak foot reflexology, pregnancy, and chair massage, to name a few. Although you can have fewer minutes of chair massage, 30 minutes is the recommended minimum for most optimal treatment--whether chair or table or reflexology. You may want a follow-up treatment depending on your physical needs and what the massage therapists recommend. After being a "regular" here, my standards for massage therapy have been raised. Recently for teacher appreciation week, students from a massage school came to my school and gave free massages to teachers. They worked hard but could not compare to China Healing Massage. I did not have the heart to say anything since they were doing it at no cost to teachers. (PTO paid for it.) The massage therapists at China Healing Massage are from mainland China and have had extensive training in acupressure (massage on acupuncture energy meridians without using needles) massage,foot reflexology, and there are acupuncture treatments available by appointment. Best message of my life!!! I've had several messages & this place is the Chinese experts. Experienced new message techniques that truly helped me feel immediately better. They're basic message is a deep tissue & not for the light & sensitive. My deep knots were worked out and range-of-motion much improved. This is a REAL message we'll worth the great price! Told them my right sciatic nerve was sore & Judy helped work out. Highly recommended & will be a repeat costumer... Now they don't speak good English, very limited. I am extremely critical when it comes to massage and have no tolerance for poorly trained masseuses/masseurs. I was in town visiting my parents for the holidays and stopped in to China Healing on a whim. I went for the 2 hour full body massage since the price was so good and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Tony is very well trained in the eastern techniques and has the stamina to get through a 2 hour massage without missing a beat. Be prepared to delight in some serious stretching, hot rock treatment, hot towels and aromatherapeutic oil as well. He struggles with english but if you want him to adjust his approach or move to a different part of the body he seemed to understand my pointing and basic requests. I have been back to see Tony and his wife three times and each time is better than the last. If you are looking for an incredible massage at a great price do not hesitate to try China Healing.
