This place is the only Chinese restaurant we have in Huntingdon, BUT we have eaten there at least 25x in the last 10yrs. When we first began going, their little place was booming. The food on the bar was always hot & delicious, & on Friday nights, we were lucky to find a seat. Now, it's just a shell of its former existence. Ever since covid hit, they see very little business. It makes me so very sad for the owners, because I KNOW they've worked hard over the years to provide excellent food & service to the public. It's quite a small restaurant with minimal seating & could use some interior work done to it & some deep cleaning, yet it still has its charms. If you decide to eat off the buffet & dine in, ALWAYS go either at the beginning of lunch or dinner (11am or 4pm) since that's when they change the bars out. Take out is always the best option for us since it's made fresh (if you show up THEN order ;) ). This is what we've been doing & they give you SO MUCH food for your money! We regularly spend around $35 when we order take out, & we always have enough left over for the 3 of us to get 2 more meals out of it!! The lady who is there in the evenings (whom I'm assuming is part owner or the manager) is always very sweet as well. All in all, I love their food & more of us need to get behind & support our small local businesses, especially those who've been struggling since all of this nonsense practically made it impossible for them to earn a living. I have been 3 times and every time the food was bad. Hopefully they get a new cook. The sauces were like water and tasted terrible.

Ordered sweet-and-sour, chicken, white rice, and fried rice. Was made fresh. Food was very good.

My brother and I were wanting Chinese & didn't want to drive far so we tried China King in Huntingdon and it was pitiful! It was around 7 pm & we were the only customers in the place & there was very little food left on the buffet. We really should have left but we stayed and ate. The chicken was hard & dried up from being under the warmer lights for who knows how long & my tea tasted old so I got a Diet Coke & it was flat. A good place if you want a quick meal. They have a buffet with the basic Chinese dishes and some non-traditional items like fried zucchini and mei fun (a angel hair-like noodle made from rice (very good). Meal for 2, with drinks about $20-$25. read more

Definitely do NOT recommend. We used to come a lot, but now we won't come back. All the lights need to be changed. The kitchen was unusually dark. Our food was very hard and cold. Cook came out with a headlamp on his head. There was a kid running the register, and serving. My mom and I decided to come back to one of the restaurants that made so many good memories for our family, and when we got here it was one disappointment after another. It used to be packed full with couples, families, and patrons of all sorts. Now it is almost vacant and doesn't look like the business is even open on the outside and barely so on the inside. They had to reheat most of the food offered and some was still a little cold when brought out. It breaks our heart how covid and prices have dimmed this business's light. I came from Seattle and thought we'd see if there was passable Chinese in town. Well, this is not the place if you have been exposed to good Chinese food. All three dishes we had used the same brown sauce, including shrimp. Beef and shrimp with the same sauce? Hot and sour soup was the least inspired I've ever had. Best place for Chinese in the carroll county area. Try the pepper chicen or the chicken and brocolli.

Food is cold and old! So dry I thought the beef was jerky. Seems the food is kept over night in a fridge and reheated. The food that is edible is actually pretty good. Although at over $10 a person there isn't enough edible food to get me to go back. read more

I don't know about the best place in Carroll county. We've only eaten at one other place and it's in McKenzie. Personally it was dirty, little to much choice on the buffet and the food wasn't hot. If anyone thinks this is good probably need your taste buds checked. read more

Was very unpleased with the taste of the food on the buffet. Everything was almost cold when u put it on your plate. And a lot of the fried foods were so hard that u couldn't even eat it and last but not least, they wouldn't bring out anything fresh, everything was basically low to empty! This was my first and last trip here. And to think I still have to pay for this carp...what a waste of hard earned money. Wow!! read more
