Very friendly woman answered the phone and took my order which was ready when I arrived. Food was good, pretty standard American Chinese food. Egg drop soup was prepared the way I like it - on the thicker side and flavorful with a lot of egg, orange chicken was also tasty, nice portion although not really spicy at all even though I'd requested "extra spicy" when I ordered. To be fair, that can mean different things to different people, so I can't fault them for that. They even offered me extra sauce packets in addition to what was already in the bag when I picked up the food. Oh, and the fried rice that came with the combo meal was quite good, with a bit of extra flavor that i don't usually associate with fried rice and couldn't readily identify. But it was delicious. Tried this place for the first time. Wow! It's a hidden gem for Chinese food. The service was fast, easy and welcoming. Y'all, all the food was delicious from the appetizers, to the wonton soup, the curry with chicken and the king pao chicken. However, the ambiance is nothing to call home about. This restaurant has really gone downhill the past few years. Our wonton had so much of a onion taste they were not good. General Tso chicken was all dark meat and just a different consistency and not tasty at all. So disappointed we won't be ordering again. read more

This is the best Asian take-out in Bridgeport.... it happens to be the only Asian takeout that isn't also a mass-producing buffet style. Their rice and noodles are good. They have pad thai which, as far as I know, has never been available in Bridgeport before they opened. This is not the most delicious Chinese you will ever experience in your life, but it is good enough to make it worth ordering when you get that Asian take-out craving. Their soups are decent and if you order menu items extra-spicy, they actually give you a good showing of addition of flavor and not just heat. A rather ordinary restaurant - majority takeout, however, they do deliver. It is the only non-buffet Chinese restaurant in Bridgeport, WV. If you're only interested in the routine - such as: beef lo mein, fried rice, wontons, etc. then this is a good place to satisfy that craving. If you're interested in some of the unique items that appear on their menu, for example, Thai Ho Fun or Pad Thai, save your money. It seems every time I have ordered something "different" it's never what it's supposed to be. I recently ordered delivery and ordered the Thai Ho Fun, Beef Lo Mein, and Cashew Chicken. The Thai Ho Fun and the Beef Lo Mein, to my surprise/disappointment, were EXACTLY the same - though in different type containers (round and rectangular.) The Thai Ho Fun cost $1.05 more. My advise - stay with the general run of the mill menu items. Not to bad mouth the place, I will say the Cheese Won Tons are exceptional as are the Shrimp Egg rolls. Also to there credit, order to delivery time seems to always be an efficient 15-25 minutes (I live 4 miles away.) read more

I go into the place wait a few seconds for one guy to tell the lady working the register that she has a customer. I placed my sesame chicken order and since she doesn't ring me up I take a seat and wait for my food. Another customer comes in and orders two sesame chickens. Two more customers come in and place their food order. Then the lady after me gets her two sesame chicken's first and I am still sitting there and I start shaking my head. Then the other two people get there food just ad mine is coming out. She didn't even ring me up at the register when I first got there so I probably could have just got the food for free but I am not that kind of person so I hand her my card and she rings me up and does apologize. Otherwise the chefs special seseame chicken was fine and it came with white rice which rang up to $10.23. read more

Terrible chinese. Wontons too thin and very over cooked. Chicken in the fried rice with a rubbery texture. Rice also overcooked and somewhat mushy. Egg roll was at least average and the only item I ate. I would not recommend at all. read more

Dirty place. Garbage on the floors, kids homework all over the tables. Scares me. Its a shame there aren't any other options.

As soon as I walk through the door, one of the owners kids was picking their nose. Place is absolutely filthy. Made me realize I made a bad decision ordering food from there. The woman ringing me up, had so much dirt under her finger nails, it was disgusting. The food was terrible. Chicken was rubbery. Not even sure it was real chicken. The rice tasted like it was 3 days old. I spent about $25 for the food for my family and basically had to throw it all out because it was inedible. I will absolutely never go to this place again. The health department should visit them and shut them down. Gross!! read more

Listen. This is a small town in WV and this family is the only game in town for chinese delivery. They dont have wings or coconut shrimp which are my favorites. But they are very good people...when i first moved here i placed an order and my visa would not work...they brought me 50 bucks of food free and told me to pay them when i could. I order regularly now and everytime the food is hot. Fresh...made well and they take great care to make sure you get the sauces you care about. 100 percent recommend. read more

I've ordered delivery from here a few times, each time has been average...but this last time was pretty disappointing. We ordered tonight and it was horrible. I've ordered general tso's every time, usually with lo mein or dumplings, and it's always been at least decent but this time the general tso's seemed like they fried the chicken, froze it, then reheated it in the microwave. It may have been the worst general tso's ever - it was soggy and the sauce was an unnaturally bright red. I've had better general tso's from the frozen food section at wal-mart. Some of their other food I've had has been ok, but overall unremarkable. Regardless...it's the only take out Chinese food place in the area so the options are limited if you're in the mood for take out. read more

I had heard good things from several people about this place so I tried it for the first time yesterday. When I walked through the front door I was shocked at the condition of the restaurant. It was filthy. My first instinct was to walk out but I really wanted Chinese without having to go into a sit down restaurant. There was a line of people ordering that did not stop the whole time I was there and the phone was ringing almost nonstop so naturally I'm thinking this place must be pretty good. I had about a 15 minute wait for my food and a hungry and impatient 2 yr old who whined for her noodles the whole time. Then she had to go potty. Ohhh dear Lord! That bathroom was disgusting. I did not want to put her on that nasty toilet but I had no choice. Quite honestly, I am not sure how the health department has not shut this place down. Now for the food....I ordered chicken lo mien and sweet and sour chicken. I will admit the sweet and sour sauce was pretty good. Even my picky 2 yr old liked it which shocked me. The meal was just ok. The portions were good but I do think it was a little pricey for what you get. Would I recommend this place to anyone???? Nope, not a chance. Will I order from here again???? I've been to this place twice. I got Kung Pao Chicken the first time, and I'd say it was pretty good, even if a little too expensive. Not spectacular, but good enough to think I'll be a repeat customer. However, I just got the Pad Thai and it is was disgusting. I couldn't eat much of it and I wasted $9. The whole thing is this weird PINK color, and there's no seasoning or flavor anywhere in the dish. At first glance I thought it was cold cut chicken thrown in there, but it's just plain, bland pieces of chicken. The bottom has this pink sludgy syrup, which looks exactly like the sludge you'd see underneath raw chicken. It honestly was gross. There's just no way I could eat that and I'm hesitant to try this place again now. read more
