We do takeout from here about once a week. The hot and sour soup is consistently good, and the mei fun (rice noodle) dishes are great.

The main point is the food is good and the people who work there are friendly. I ordered a small yet it is really big. It was chicken with mixed vegetables. It's not on the menu yet they set me up and it comes in a brown sauce. It's very busy at night. Walk ins and calls. It's exactly what I wanted. Glad I came here.

I'll take away one star just because of the area the restaurant is located at. It's a shame that a…read moregood restaurant is located in a bad area. Sometimes it's hard to try new Chinese restaurant outta town because you don't know how the food would be. The restaurant isn't large to accommodate a family because it resemble a food shack. Walking in, I immediately knew what I wanted to get. So, I ended up ordering Chicken with broccoli and a small hot and sour soup to go. The soup had lots of vegetables and the seasoning in the broth bought out the flavor of the soup. The chicken and broccoli were cook all the way and a good amount of sauce (which is good since I don't like it dry) were added onto the meal. Some restaurant be putting too much grease on the fried rice itself, but they manage to pull off the impossible on that task and the pork and onion gave the rice good flavor. Even though the place isn't appealing, they have really good food at a decent price.

Placed our order. Pulled into the most sketchy parking lot thats dimly lit. Mrs Pug and I eased into the building, an old chicken joint of some flavor. Fella working was very nice and building was clean. Order was ready and lots of take out menus available for future reference. Loaded up food and headed back to the kennel. Portions were large and all the ingredients were very fresh. We had pork egg foo young and the gravy was fabulous. The chicken in the sesame chicken was clearly prepared fresh to order and not precooked waiting in a bucket for whatever sauce would be appropriate to turn nuggets into whichever flavor you ordered. The beef and vegetables were cooked to perfection, vegetables were crispy but cooked all the way. And the flavor was on spot. We will certainly put this spot into the rotation for dinner options.
