Don't particularly like the food here. We have very limited choices though. I'm not a rice eater, but they will not exchange the rice for the lo mein. To me, when you have a restaurant you go out of your way to accommodate your patrons. They lost this one. read more

Been driving past this place for ten years because "Chinese" food is not usually diabetic-friendly. Aweek or two ago I was with friends and surrendered to peer pressure; when "where to eat" was discussed, the consensus appeared to be Chinese, so I went with the flow and we ended up here. It was better than I expected and I was able to make enough choices of dishes that weren't TOO high in carbos to give me enough choices to get a good meal without killing myself. Service was good - maybe a little too good, but better too much than too little. Friendly and fast. I would go again. The usual Chinese restaurant decor - lots of red and black. read more

Since they relocated , I have not eaten inside the restaurant but I have ordered twice from there in the past year, not by choice. I don't really care for the four very much. I am glad they started serving lomein , but it does leave a lot to be desired. I think that China Buffet has much better food, but they are pricier and the people that work there are not very friendly. The china palace is cleaner since they moved and the decor is better. The china buffet seriously needs to update the inside and make it appear new. It's amazing what a coat of paint and new flooring will do for any place but especially a place that you eat at. read more

The atmosphere just feel dingy. The food got us sick upon last ordering. You are greeted by two sets of wooden sticky doors. Then you get to view a dirty old fish tank that's been emptied years ago and stays there because there is nothing to put there. The food is okay. $26 of inedible trash. Shrimp fried rice was too salty and old, dry and crunchy. Egg roll billed as "homemade". Perhaps "home" means something else in Chinese. Instead of white fluffy rice with the egg foo yung, more left-over fried rice, only this was chicken. I literally threw it away after a few bites, after determining that I've come to far in life to subject myself to such poor cuisine. How unfortunate for those who consider this "good food". China Palace - Chinese Near Me - McComb, Mississippi

This is the first time that I have eaten here since the fire and the change of location. The food is just as great! We had the dinner for two with boneless chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. It tasted like I remember. There were some complaints that I read on reviews about having to wait. They are doing a booming business and are short staffed. The pandemic has made everyone impatient and rude. i encourage you to go to the new location and enjoy that we have such a great place to eat in McComb MS! read more

Great Real Chinese Food. Not the buffet garbage that you'd normally get in MS. I got the Tong Cho Chicken. That dish is a staple at great Chinese restraints elsewhere. Most places in MS have never even heard of it or they say they have it and then they just bring you General Tso chicken. Try it. You will love it. read more

Everyone I ate at this restaurant today 02/08/2020 i ordered shrimp and broccoli food was cold and broccoli wasnt steamed well it was completely garbage. I told the waiter and she gave me another order it was worst than the first sweet and sour chicken just tasted nasty. I then told another worker there and she did nothing accept wanted the pay 16.85. Food was good and fresh. Egg rolls were perfect. The hot and sour soup had a great taste but was slightly overpriced. The soup could easily be $2 cheaper if they didn't add a pound of pork :/ Other than that the soup was on point. This place would have gotten 4 stars if it wasn't for the miserable lady on the phone and at the desk. Can't beat their lunch special. Some dishes will be different than what you've had at other Chinese places, especially their sesame chicken. Order the shrimp with lobster sauce, tong cho chicken, or mandarin chicken on the lunch special. Plenty of yummy food for cheap. read more

Granted the furnishings are dated and in need of an update. Otherwise, the food is great. We always get the Dinner for Two with Beef and Broccoli and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. It comes with fried rice, wonton soup, and egg rolls. Enough to easily feed a family of 4 and it's sooooo gooood. Have been going to this fine establishment my entire life and tried other Chinese Restaurants in different cities but nothing compares to China Palace in McComb. I always get the Sweet and Sour Chicken which is very unique. It's not like chicken at most other Chinese restaurants that are usually bland fried strips or balls. China palace has hardy pieces of chicken with an excellent coat of batter and very tasty sauce. The egg rolls are also very good too and no other restaurant beats them in that department as well. My friend and I usually get the dinner for 2 which includes 2 soups, 2 egg rolls, and 2 orders of sweet & sour chicken with their special fried rice for only $23. Always love visiting home and indulging in China Palace. :) read more

We have always enjoyed eating here. Until today!!! Food has always been good, though a bit over priced. This evening most of it had to have been left over from lunch. It was cold, dry, and hard!! I have been coming to this place since I was a little girl and so have many of the people in my community. But I'm really disappointed that they haven't made any SANITARY CHANGES or renovation investments into this restaurant. The floors are filthy, it has an nasty odor when you walk in, the fish tank in the center of the restaurant in absolutely disgusting and the list goes on. You would think that the owners would take pride in renovating to help satisfy the needs of the location and its customers. I'm not sure who still dines here but I will not be returning EVER. I have even seen social media post where fellow customers have found roaches in their food and that alone is enough to have this restaurant shut completely down.This was my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up and they have great food but unfortunately the conditions are just too unsanitary and the location itself is not aesthetically pleasing. The staff all seemed attentive and polite. Food is decent. I got the Curry Chicken with a bbq pork appetizer. The pork was tender and had a mild bbq flavor. The chicken was hot and came with veggies that still had a nice crisp freshness. The curry chicken could have been more flavorful, but it wasn't any different than the same dish I'd had at other americanized Chinese food restaurants. My dinner was very reasonably priced; the entree alone was only around $7.75, appetizer was $5-ish. There are also pretty cheap mixed drinks clearly listed in the menu. I tried a frozen Piña Colada ($4-ish). It was good, though a bit liquor heavy. Aesthetically, the restaurant needs major updates. The decor is VERY dated, and the untidy (dirt around air vents, etc) apperance of the restaurant made me feel apprehensive about whether this would be a safe place to eat. Overall, this place is not bad for a quick bite. If you're looking for ambiance, order your food to go or dine elsewhere. read more

I ate one bite, it was horrible. It made my stomach upset and I threw up when I got home. This is the worst food I have ever been served. Tried to get the waitress to do something and she never came by the table until she brought the check. After 15 minutes waiting for her to come by, while she was playing very loud video games with owner, I got to tell her about the food. She told the owner who said you ordered it you pay for it.
