Great consistency, food is always tasty and freshly prepared. My advice if you are planning on carrying out...,place your order on their website. Yes there is a dollar processing fee but it is much faster than going to the counter to place your order. We ordered catering from China Restaurant for my husband's retirement ceremony at Fort Eisenhower and were blown away with the generous portions, reasonable prices and fantastic options! Horrific food and terrible customer service. We ordered delivery: wonton soup, bbq spare ribs, and beef with broccoli. All of it tasted disgusting. We called the restaurant and told the manager about it and she refused to replace anything unless we drove to the restaurant and brought the food so she could look at it. My go-to Chinese restaurant for semi-quick take out! I have several Chinese restaurants that are closer to me, but I always find myself coming to this one. The cooks are Chinese and they have a really nice guy who works the front desk who speaks fluent English (in case anyone was concerned..). The food takes longer to cook and it definitely tastes more fresh than most other Chinese take out places in Augusta. Also, I'm not dying from MSG or corn starch overdose so that's a definite win! I'm a big fan of their soups, fried rice and their shrimp with curry. The shrimp they use are jumbo-sized and so good! Most of the entrees here are ~$5 with combos at ~$7. Only thing about them is they give you the tiniest container of rice if you only get one entree. And the entree portion is definitely enough for at least two servings. There is no ambiance to this place. It's good for take-out. Not a place I've ever dined in at. I would not take anyone here on a date. Long time passer byer, 1st time diner. Was in the mood for some Chinese and had to go to Publix so I figured I would try this place out. Got my usual go to for trying a place out for the 1st time. Crab rangoon, Mongolian beef and vegetable lo mein. Crab rangoon was an unfortunate disappointment. Tasted like it was fried in old grease, had a bitter taste to it as well as being a little overdone. Filling did not taste good, texture felt like it was curdled and it had a very salty very crabby flavor, but not in a good way. Not sweet at all like I'm used to. Mongolian beef had a good flavor and good amount of spice. The meat was soft and gummy with a lot of sinew and gristle. Had to kind of eat around that and threw a good deal out. Vegetables, however were plentiful and crisp. Thou lo mein was pretty good. I like a little more bite to my noodles but I know every place cooks them differently so I'm not mad about that. The staff was very friendly and the place was packed so maybe I just didn't get the right Items. I will give them a second chance and try some other dishes. If I do so I will re-rate. read more

One of the better chinese restuarants in Augusta. Everything I've had hear has been slightly above the average chinese place. The have a broad delivery range, so that is a plus as well. They can take a bit of time to arrive when delivering but typically it is reasonable. My go to here is the sesame chicken. read more

I have tried all the other "best chinese food in Augusta" spots, Shangri-La, Hunan Cafe, Sho Chins, etc., and I have been disappointed each time. This time, I was not. The place is clean, though it looks like pretty much any other Chinese take out place. Though of note, when I was waiting someone was sitting there eating, the minute he got up to leave someone came out and cleaned up his table. The service was fast, the employees were friendly. The price was average. The selection is pretty standard chinese food selection. The food was great! Probably the best chinese food I have had since I have moved to Augusta. Such a terrible Chinese restaurant I had never been to before. The manager was so mean to offer the water and asked for additional charge $1 for a cup of water. Normally the cup of water should be free in many other Chinese restaurants, but she said €50 for water €50 for the cup. The food was so terrible, too salty and looks not fresh at all.
