I was delighted of how great the food was ! I ordered shrimp/broccoli, noodle soup & crap rangoon. The soup was delicious! Not like most Chinese restaurants who lack flavor in their soups, not here, the noodle soup broth was wonderful. Shrimp/broccoli was fresh and flavorful! The crap Rangoon was amazing, not greasy, in my past experiences with other restaurants most are greasy and not very good with the red dipping sauce. My usual chinese spot was closed, and this was close to my house, so I decided to give them a chance. I ordered chicken wings and pork fried rice, and based on other reviews on here, I ordered the chicken and broccoli combo. Everything tasted good, and I was ready to write a good review, until I find some kind of metal in my mouth while chewing. At first, I thought it was the staple they used to close it, but then I realized it was not that, and it was much longer than a staple, and it was inside of the broccoli, because it still had broccoli around it when I looked at it. We ordered $60 worth of food from this place last night and everything was Horrible! We told them to please make sure the chicken was well done and crispy, (General TOS white meat) and it was soggy and hollow it wasn't white meat! It was not cooked crispy or well done, in fact each piece was hollow inside, and it had a terrible taste. When my daughter called and ordered the food, she was very nice on the phone with the person she placed the order with, and I heard it because she had it on speaker and she repeated it several times. We also ordered two orders of fried Wontons and they were not even close to being fried Wontons! The meat inside was completely black! When you have hungry people waiting for the food to arrive everyone wants to eat immediately, but the disappointment had us all disgusted so we ate a little and threw the rest away. It wouldn't do me any good to call and complain, because I don't know of any Chinese food places that would refund your money, and why would I want to order something else to replace that food? It would be from the same place, and obviously I wouldn't trust them to give us anything else that was consumable! I give this China Taste 1 star. I would never order from them again, and I would suggest if anyone is in the mood for Chinese food, to call any other place but this one! read more

I ordered some food here during the super bowl .I was trying to try out a new Chinese food place instead of the usual place on Blvd East and 70th (they are so rude!). The woman on the phone seemed nice enough. The delivery was fast and they had pretty good prices. I was surprised when free soda showed up with my order. I had the beef chow fun which was fine. My friend always orders General Tso's chicken from Chinese restaurants and she said that the place on 70th was better. I guess until the place on 70th really pisses me off, I will keep going there. read more

It's fast food chinese, can you really expect more? First off, they are impeccably clean. I have been to their restroom (you have to walk through the kitchen) and I have to say it is the cleanest fast food chinese place I have ever seen (hard to find). I've been here for the egg rolls and I will agree with the one reviews they are greasy, but quality and put together so I just drain it and pate it dry with a few paper cloths. I watched them make the fried chicken and I would defiantly come back and get that. I watched them cook away and I have to say the whole family has it down. The little kid takes my order every time and they are always patient with me. I still have yet to eat their food. I saw about five reviews rave about the broccoli and beef, so I suggest that's the thing. I'm a lo mein type of gal, but I don't eat from asian spots around NJ, because it doesn't look "real"... It's reddish white, squiggle, and doesn't look like any chicken I've cooked BUT they have veggie so that MIGHT happen. read more

They're pretty good. I've been eating from this place for close to 20 years and have never been disappointed. I recommend it. Their friend rice is good, noodle soup, Singapore MeI fun, barbecue spare ribs, shrimp broccoli are all good dishes that I enjoy. First yelp review and what a fitting place since it is my go to Chinese food spot. I usually get the boneless spare rib combo with pork fried rice. Even though I said never again I when back a couple of times the second time I went back was pretty okay it was much better then the first time, the food was much better it didn't have the funny taste it had the first time .. I like to stand at the counter to see what going on and how they work, the lady that did my food was pretty neat and clean but the guy in the back was alway touching thing with his bare hands ( cooked food) and scratching and picking his nose that was the last straw for me the setting may be clean but one of the cooks in the back haves really unclean habits read more

Ordered delivery from here. Arrived in about 45 minutes, though this place is a 5 min walk away from the apartment. Pretty delicious food; the general tso chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce was very good. We also ordered the hot and sour soup, but it was different than expected (tasted a bit oily and seemed to be made with a red sauce - not that good). China Taste is this fast Chinese joint right by the park. They are hit and miss with their fast food. If it's on a busy day you are likely to get tasty Chinese food. On slow days it looks like they re-heat a lot of food which doesn't taste too well.. Overall they are dependable for fast food Chinese food. read more
