Tso chicken. Wonton Crab cheese as appetizer. The Wonton "crab" (it's imitation crab meat so it's white flavored fish meat) it's okay but better when it's real crab meat. Some had little filling inside them. The egg roll was flavorless. Cooked perfectly..I just think it needed more filling. The Gen TSO is okay. Not spicy, kind of bland. Good portion. I've ordered from here a couple of times. It's pretty good. Here's what I had the last time... Crabmeat rangoon/cheese wonton - creamy, mildly cheesy, slightly sweet with a touch of scallion flavor, triangular pods of goodness. Outside crust was a light and crispy in the center but edges were chewy and tough. The red dipping sauce was a tad sour and watery. I did not like it. Dim sum - Surprisingly thick and meaty, almost like a meatball. While I liked the flavor, it was bigger than usual and not too much filling for the soft, thin exterior. Scallion pancakes - a classic, well done and a little thicker that the usual but not doughy. Great while hot, but only good at room temperature since it gets really oily as it cools. But I guess that's a norm with these. Egg roll - Delish! Crispy, light wrapping, great filling with a good balance of cabbage and meat. Didn't get greasy or soggy as it cooled. Didn't need a drop of sauce. Sooo good. Overall I advise to skip the dim sum, consider the scallion pancakes but definitely order the egg rolls. The cheese wontons are only good I'd you don5 like them with sauce. I am aware this review is mainly appetizers. I will update next time I get full a meal. read more

Neither here nor there. Food was typical Chinese nothing bad and nothing stand out. Veggie Fried rice had only a few carrot and mushroom slices but plenty of onions and water chestnuts. There's not much I can say about Chinese food so this will be a short one. This place is so and I mean SO small. It's basically only for take out which is fine with me. Walking in you see a counter to order on your right hand side as well as maybe four chairs and a lower counter to eat on your left. It doesn't look like much, but I honestly enjoy the food here. I call and it's ready decently quick so I wait maybe ten minutes and start walking over. They're pretty much always open as well. I've called during many blizzards when everything has been closed and they have even delivered it to me! You just can't beat that. read more

Best Chinese in the area so far! A year ago I moved to West New York and since then I've been on a quest to find good chinese food.. I gave it 5 stars because delivery was fast, fried rice was brown (and not that nasty yellow stuff others sale) general tso chicken was reddish brown and slightly crispy (just how I like it). We were driving back home at around 11.30 pm. We were very hungry, didn't know where to find some decent food. That's when we happen spot this message place. we asked them if they were open, the Lady owner came out saying that they were closing, but make my order. I could see from the counter that they had completely packed their m.e.p. They unwrapped everything to make my order. Lo mein and chow fan were my favorites. Dumplings had a thick doughy wrapper. Ordered from Foliage Garden the other day after browsing grubhub and seeing positive reviews. I was a little skeptical, I checked yelp and decided it was worth a try. The food took a little bit longer than I'd like to arrive but I'm about 20 blocks away to be fair. The food was super fresh. I ordered steamed veggie dumplings and a chicken with broccoli combo + beef fried rice and I added egg. Everything tasted like it was made to order. The dumplings were stuffed with crisp cabbage and carrots. The broccoli that came with the chicken also tasted really fresh. I really enjoyed the food and received a free soda for the amount I spent. I ordered the General Tso chicken, rice, and chicken w/broccoli. All 3 dishes bad, the General Tso being the worst of the 3. Oh, I also got scallion pancakes. They were good but really greasy. My husband and I ordered a few dishes for us and our friends. We told them that we were vegetarian. The food came promptly, but we quickly noticed that we were given the wrong food. At first, we decided to look past it and try the food anyway. We put the wrong food aside, and began to eat the food that they did get right. One of the dishes we got was the Bean Curd with vegetables, and the tofu was so sour it was not edible. We then decided to contact the restaurant to let them know the wrong order and the sour tofu. They told us that we were in the wrong, that they gave us the right food, and that they would not give us a refund. We had to go through seamless to get our money back. The manager was extremely rude and would not stop talking over us even when we told him we werent even given the right food and that we just simply wanted a refund. He told us that it was our fault that we got food not edible for vegetarians because we had ordered a chicken side for one of our meat eating friends. (Someone please explain the logic here.) I would recommend not ordering from this place as they don't seem to put the customer first. There are plenty of other places to eat in town that are tasty, hospitable, and worth your money. read more

Pretty good place. Been ordering from this place for more that 10 years. Food is good and delivery comes very quick. Foliage Garden's menu is very big and prices are pretty reasonable. When I order form this place, I usually get a large Chicken and Broccoli, and large Wanton Soup, a small Egg Drop Wanton Soup, and a small Chicken Fried Rice with Egg. Food is good. I love the owners. They are very hard working and friendly. They produce very good food. When I had ordered a meal with shrimp once, I almost got food poisoning from being served rotten shrimp. The owner was very transparent and brought my husband to the back of the restaurant and showed him everything from top to bottom. The owner said it was the company he had ordered it from and had threw out all of the shrimp and fixed the problem. They are very professional and wonderful. read more
