When trying to make a date, she would take days or weeks to respond. When she finally gave me two date choices, I told her I would take "Thursday," and asked what location she would be seeing me in. Several days later, the night before the appointment, I still hadn't heard back so I write her a letter letting her know I was considering the appointment cancelled. She got back to me the next morning saying "I didn't write back because In your response below, you did not specify what day you were confirming for. " A. I did list a day, and B. even if I wasn't clear, any professional would write back and try to clarify the situation. She generally was dodgy and dishonest or ignored me calling her out. After I had enough of slow responses, excuses, disrespect, etc. I told her that I just wanted the value of my payment back, she ignored that and tried to get me into the office in spite of me making clear I didn't really want to work with her. ... There are many other very qualified professionals in the area, I would recommend seeing them instead. For Herbalism, BJ Wang is an amazing practitioner in the area who has lectured at Harvard medical school: http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-shan-tang-allston For acupuncture, Wellfit Studio is also an amazing practitioner (Though can also be a little hard to get in touch with): http://www.yelp.com/biz/wellfit-studio-boston Also, Open Space Community Acupuncture is a great sliding scale acupuncture place in Union Square: http://www.yelp.com/biz/open-space-community-acupuncture-somerville

I thought she listened to me, was thoughtful and knowledgeable. I felt very much at ease with Jesse. I am an acupuncturist myself and I'm not too fussy about needles anyway, but thought she had a very light touch and the needles felt very comfortable. I really relaxed with her treatment and felt some relief for my neck. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to return since, but look forward to another appointment soon!!!

Make sure and leave a detailed message, and he will usually call you back the Monday after your call to schedule an appointment. This is a life changing experience! I believe he has the intuition and sensitivity it takes to tune into a paerson' constitution, temperament, metabolism and more. His consultation is brief. His charge is affordable even for people with limited finances. ?It is a very good investment in one's health to use herbs even as preventative, like tune-ups, so one does not become ill. The herbs Dr Wong prescribes, and need to be cooked at home in a non-corroding ceramic or enamel pot, are inexpensive, effective and have no side effects, unlike Western alopathic pharmaceuticals covered by insurances.

Dr. Wang is a miracle worker. Back in July, I broke out into a very severe rash. I went to the…read moredoctor several times to try and identify the cause to no avail. They gave me steroid cream. They drew blood for allergies tests. Everything came back normal even the test for lobster, which I happen to know I am allergic to. When I eat lobster, my breathing becomes affected. Perplexed by the results, I called the doctor to tell him that I thought the tests were wrong. He was looking at my records and said to me, "Well, you're seeing the allergist on the 17th. In the meantime, you can do your own allergy testing." "What do you mean, Doctor?", I replied. "You can eat some lobster", he said. Dumbfounded, I lost my ability to speak for a moment. Then he said, "What happens when you eat it?" I said, "I can't breathe" to which he replied, "Oh. Don't do that." He then wished me luck and the phone call ended. So did my confidence in the medical establishment. During this whole debacle, my friend told me about Dr. Wang. A long time ago, she broke out into a serious rash and Dr. Wang healed her. After the phone call with my doctor, I decided to pay a visit to him. I went to his office mid-afternoon on a Tuesday, signed in and was seen almost immediately. Dr. Wang did a pulse reading on me, asked me some questions, and confirmed some things about my health (he said my lungs were weak which is true - I have asthma). We spoke for a few minutes and he asked me if I was able to drink the tea. I said yes. He mentioned that it did not taste good. That was okay with me. I was beginning to look like Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly" so I figured the taste might appeal to me or I would endure it out of desperation. He gave me the instructions on when and how to take the tea. Patients have the option of brewing the tea themselves or buying it pre-made; I opted for the latter. I had to wait for about 90 minutes for the tea to be ready which was totally fine with me. I ran some errands while I was waiting. The pulse reading was $20 and is free if you buy the tea. The tea, I am happy to say, is not the worst thing I have ever tasted. Based on some of the reviews here I anticipated it would taste like vomit. It is quite bitter and basically tastes like a herbal remedy. I probably would not chose this brew at Tealuxe but I have been able to drink it with no problem at all. I have about three teas left. The best part this whole thing is that the itching has subsided and my rash is almost completely gone. Dr. Wang is a true expert and healer. Some of the complaints on here are directed at the fact that he does not spend a lot of time with you. He doesn't have to. He is an expert and can accurately diagnosis within a very short amount of time. What I love about his approach is that it is truly holistic. He got to the root of the problem instead of just trying to get rid of the symptoms. Dr. Wang is a very nice man. I will go back to him in the future for other treatments. He healed me and I am very grateful to him.
