I've come to Mountain Green on many occasions in the past. Back in the days, Mervyns (was replaced by Kohl's, but is now Orleans Furniture), Trader Joe's (replaced by Aldi), a Chinese restaurant... forgot the name (no longer in business... it's now a salon I think), Denny's (has been replaced by Corky's), Michaels (still going on strong), and CVS (still active) were the shops and restaurants I frequently visited in my early twenties. Nowadays I don't visit this shopping center as much. However, it now has Handel's Homemade Ice Cream, Corky's Kitchen & Bakery, Aldi, and Pho Rex in the mix, I may pay more visits when I'm in the area. I remember I had a flat tire which I attempted to fix at the gas station in the corner. Wow, nostalgia memories! I don't visit this center as much anymore because I don't live nearby. However, I am in the Upland neighborhood quite regularly. Anyway, I was so excited to find out Sunright Tea Studio made its way to this shopping center over one plus years ago. I did not know, but now I do know, I will have to come by here more often. By the way, Big Lots has closed its doors unfortunately. Stater Bros and Pho Century are still here though. They had a good variety of stores from Barnes and Noble, to Trader's Joe, to Bath and Body Works. Of course there were plenty of places to eat too like Yard House and Urban Fish Taco. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

First time at this plaza, Hubby wanted to quickly get Diet Coke (in my mind, why didn't he just go to 7-Eleven across the?) He noticed "Hey babe, look, Walgreens & CVS in the same place" I thought that was odd. That's akin to having McDonald's & In n Out or even Burger King being in the SAME lot. In any case, it was a total bust, Hubby said there's hardly any inventory for beverages at this location. That was it. Of note, the parking lot has such small stalls that I could barely open the door to our sedan without hitting the car parked next to us. What's more? The huge truck parked next to us almost clipped Hubby's side--thankfully he did not open his door as the lady backed out of her stall. Close call!!!! The chances of us returning to this location might be slim unless it's a necessity.

However, within the last year, I've been here several times now to dine at Sushi Shiro, Sea Queen, and L'Moon Creamery and most recently for driving school services from Sarah's Driving & Traffic School. This plaza is very old. You can tell there are alot of wear and tear based on the exterior of the building. If you're interested, a couple spaces are available for lease. It does have a variety of different businesses. Just to name some services offered... spa, beauty salon, threading, vitamin supplies, hair salon, cake bakery, sports bar and dancing, Mediterranean and Indian restaurants, and more. It's anchored by Taco Bell, Jim's Burgers, Sushi Shiro, and Sea Queen. Lots of free parking. The parking lot can use a face lift. There are cracks all over the ground. Anyway, I'll continue to visit this plaza especially for L'Moon Creamery and Sushi Shiro. Come on by and check out what these businesses can offer you.

I've found shoes, pens, items for your car, speakers, clothes, and more. We walked away with great deals on adidas clothes, Nike, and essentials. The worker there was very smiley and kind! He let us know what he had in stock. They have two cats on the premises as well and the cats will roam to greet you. My fiancé was getting itchy so beware!
