I know, because I just saw an able young woman get served without one, and my questions to the greeter/cashier were met with a claim she was asked to wear a mask, but she "said she didn't need to wear one". So they just let her stroll right in unmasked. Since Bulk Barn is not even going to attempt to refuse service or accommodate maskless customers in some other way, they will no longer get my business. I hope her patronage was worth losing mine and any of my elderly neighbours who decide they need to avoid the health risk.

Their pricing is also competitive and they often have a varied sale section: you can find bottles of Barefoot for 10 dollars, and a shared favorite (Apothic Red) is now on for $4 off, not too shabby. Their customer service is manic-depressive: I've been here with a could-care-less guy manning the tills, and I've also had a friendly girl who explained their troubles with stocking Cupcake's Red Velvet wine. I suppose it depends on the night you stop in. I just feel it was a little price gouging, few dollars is ok but $10 difference on a 26 ounce seems excessive. I now choose to go elsewhere. I get liquor is not regulated in Alberta and I could of easily looked around more. They knew it was a high demand product and chose to price gouge the customer. Not cool.
