First and foremost the food is great! You get a good amount and won't leave there hungry. The staff has always been friendly the multiple times we've been there. I've experienced a long wait there during the day and a much shorter wait around 9pm. The only knocks that I have is that the restaurant is dirty. There was some trash on the tables that customers have left, some trash in the floor, and the drink area only had knives as for utensils and there was trash accumulated there. If they can work on the cleanliness of restaurant and continue to smile while providing great customer service, then the ratings will go up! The wait is what it is. Our experience with Chipotle in general has been increasingly negative and disheartening over the past year. This location in particular has cemented our decision to avoid Chipotle at all cost. As we walked into this location, it was apparent cleanliness is not the top priority. The male server handling the food was busy talking AT his coworkers angrily. He had a bonnet and a beard covering but we could see spit coming out of his mouth, along with few choice words we prefer not to hear especially when dining with a child. There was no greeting of any kind. This server took extra care to serve as little meat as possible for the kid's meal, and the tiny slot for the meat was undeniably half empty and barely enough for one taco. As the Chipotle CEO famously said, "Just ask for more," we did. BIG MISTAKE. What we got was a tirade. A long, angry lecture about why you should instead ask for "double meat" to fill ***one*** little slot in the kid's meal tray. We were completely put off by this server in particular, so much so we didn't even order anything else for the rest of the family. We paid for the kid's meal and left feeling stunned. As we process this experience as a family the next day, our consensus is to write about our experience in hopes of giving other families with children a heads up. We also hope Chipotle CEO is informed about this particular customer experience, as we suspect there are many other families with a similar experience. read more

Ordered a Barbacoa Bowl with chips and queso blanco. Total came to $18.09, which is wild considering what showed up. Shrinkflation is alive and well at Chipotle. Back in the day, a bowl was packed so full the lid barely fit. Now it feels like they're rationing ingredients. The food quality wasn't anything special either. At this point, it's not noticeably better than Taco Bell, just significantly more expensive. What really sealed the deal was the restaurant itself. The lobby was dirty, the food line looked neglected, and employees seemed more interested in gossiping than helping customers. Management appeared completely uninterested in the condition of the store. For nearly twenty bucks, I expected decent portions, a clean restaurant, and customer service that showed at least a little effort. This location has consistently disappointed me. Every time I come here hours before closing they are missing multiple items that they are supposed to have. I find it absolutely ridiculous that there is no sense of urgency to cook items like steak or restock on their salsas and sour crème. The cook station is also never that clean and the workers don't mind watching customers wait in line while they casually have conversations in the back. I visited the store to place my order in person because my previous order on Thursday was incorrect, and earlier that day multiple coworkers also received incorrect orders. After waiting approximately 20-30 minutes, I placed my order and asked whether the buy-one-get-one promotion applied. One manager confirmed that it did and explained the terms. I presented the replacement code issued by your company for my prior incorrect order. I was then directed to the manager at the register, who immediately became hostile and confrontational, stating loudly, "I didn't make your food." Despite my attempts to calmly clarify the situation, he accused the code of being invalid, questioned the representative's identity, and reprimanded me for not returning on Thursday. When he finally entered the code, it worked. He then insisted I owed $11.49, even though the code clearly indicated a replacement meal. The situation escalated further when the manager made a profane remark about me and repeatedly ordered me to "leave my f@%&ing store!!". He had no issues in using explicit and aggressive language in front of a full restaurant of customers. When I asked his name, he told me that its none of my business, then turned to a coworker and said "She's getting on my f#$_ing nerves!!" His conduct was entirely unacceptable, unprofessional, and inappropriate for a manager representing your company. This incident reflects poorly on your brand and raises serious concerns regarding staff training, customer service standards, and management accountability. read more

I've given this location so many tries thinking that it may have just been an odd night for the crew. It can't be ignored anymore. I never have problems at the Madison location. My son only likes to go for the rice. I get my order, and he gets a cheese quesadilla so he can get the three sides of rice with it. After the employee touches her pants, other staffs shirt, her nasty fake pony tail, she finally gets the fine detailed instructions about how to construct the rocket science that is the quesadilla. Staff refused to make an adult quesadilla claiming it's online only. What kind of stupid ass policy is that? Part of your menu can't be purchased in store? Incompetency at all levels. She then puts 3 1/2 servings in each side compartment. I asked for more. She rolls her eyes and puts enough to make it 2/3 full in each. Then she leaves it there for the cashier to finish up. Cashier tells her she can't give three servings of rice in the future. (It comes with three side portions). Cashier then asked for the side and drink. We asked for fruit and the kids apple juice. They were of course out of apple juice. The puts the fruit in the bag the. Throws the fountain drink cup in the bag. I get the cup out of the bag to get the drink. personally I think she should've just handed it to me or set it beside the bag. It's incredibly bitchy to throw it in the bag knowing we have to immediately take it back out. She wait till I walk away to start complaining that I was upset over the quesadilla. I drove thirty minutes to use my reward for a free entree. After ordering my food and meeting the cashier, I was told it was a buy one get one free but it doesn't say that on my reward info. Not only do the employees look miserable, they don't smile at the customers or even at each other. The place is filthy and there was a huge water spill all over the floor with no wet floor sign. I usually order delivery and don't come inside because every time I do I'm pretty grossed out by how badly this place is kept. Hanging out with my son and he desperately loves chipotle so we tried to go to the new one by Toyota field. Nope. They were only taking online pickup orders. So we decided to go to this location. It was so nasty. Food debris and grime on every single table....a kitchen tray with food debris sitting in the dining room and all the garbage cans overflowing. Trash everywhere on the floors. The drink station was horrible as well. All drinks were non functional except for Coca Cola. The food was just what you would expect but the condition of this restaurant was unacceptable. How do you run out of meat before lunch?! We were picking up for friends and asked for six bowls. The employee grunted at us and acted very annoyed. I decided to stop by Chipotle for the first time. I had heard several good things about the restaurant. I love Mexican food. The spices and seasonings of Mexican food are what I love most. So upon entering, I noticed that it was an open deli. I liked that I had the choice of actually seeing what I wanted to order. I like that the foods are fresh. This means that my food would more than likely be hot because the worker are constantly preparing more food as people are ordering. I decided to go with one of their "bowls". The bowl consisted of your choice of meat and your choice of toppings. I went with the steak bowl for my self and chicken for my son. My bowl was started off with a bed of white rice, topped with steak, cheese, lettuce, and Pico de Gallo. There is a special Italian dressing that you can get on the side. The dressing is amazing! The portions of meat was also hefty, which we can all appreciate. The customer service was good as well. My overall experience was good. The food is excellent. There is on thing that I did question. In the event of a person having a food allergy or does not eat a certain food, what is the preparations for that? For instance, someone who does not eat pork, would their food be cooked on the same grill? Are the utensils used to cook the food change. There is only one grill. Someone with a allergy to a certain meat may have an issue. MY overall experience was great. I would definitely eat there again. read more

I am a huge fan of Chipotle. For fast food, it offers a healthier, tastier alternative to the fast food burger stands that litter America's landscape. I found a line as I entered, nothing new, but the team efficiently moved them through their culinary assembly line and I soon found myself dining upon my burrito bowl with happy abandon. Chipotle has created a restaurant that has turned the burrito into a fast food pleasure. Chipotle on University Drive has been struggling since before the pandemic with cleanliness and service. We stopped our Tuesday Chipotle Tradition due to the employees not wearing masks properly and the floors being nasty. We ordered tonight and had another disappointing meal. Tacos had a total of 1.5 ounces of beef (on all 3), and the cheese and fajita veggies were left off. We also ordered a salad that had 12 pieces of chicken- and again no cheese or fajita veggies.
