I have used Chipper's for decades and have never been disappointed---not once. Jason is knowledgeable and a reliable consultant, unfailingly professional and helpful. The crews work diligently and expertly, and after their final clean-up, you don't really even know they have been there---except the place looks so much better. We have 18 acres of woodland, so plenty of challenge and work! This year we inoculated an ash tree to protect it (as we would hate to lose it); Chippers also strengthened the "Y" branch with a cable. They have removed trees (birch so dying from the top) super close to both the house and power lines with care and expertise. Since September of 2013, I have periodically had the Chippers tree folks take down trees and cut back brush. All done in an effort to keep my home bright and safe from the encroaching woods surrounding my property. All estimates were accurate as well as carefully thought out to ensure my needs as well as the health of the forest. As usual the most recent work was done when scheduled and ended up under the estimate. The crew was professional, safety conscious, courteous and respectful of me and my property and the clean up was impeccable including raking the snow for small pieces of cuttings on a cold windy day. I have used Chippers services several times over the past few years and have always been more than pleased. They have removed several trees of various sizes, including some very large pines. Each time, they left the area completely clean of debris. One of the things that I have appreciated the most has been their free consultations. I have had chippers do a couple of different projects for me. They've taken down a large white pine during the winter a couple of years ago, they had no problems at all, it went very well. I had a job that included taking down a large tree and thinning out several others that were threatening my house. I got three estimates for this job. All the estimates were close in costs. They always leave the job clean. Only had very good experiences with both the arborist as well as the tree men. I have also had them come and shovel off my roof a couple of winters ago.
