There's a bathroom that only kind of smells. Close by is the lighthouse. It has a small museum. This area would seem to attract many tourists. It however doesn't seem that crowded. Most people are on the beach but but that many though. It seems cleaner than many beaches. The sand doesn't have a lot of cigarette butts and litter. It's kept clean pretty good. The water is kind of murky but it's apparently safe. Along with the beach is the park. There's some great views. It seems like a safe area. There's usually someone on patrol. It has a public bathroom. It doesn't reek of piss. They charge for parking but you can park for free on a side street.

First of all they closed the resort and sold the course to a mega corp that doesn't care about it. And all that's left is dining, bar, and pool. The pool is run of the mill except they close whenever they feel like it, even when they're supposed to be open. Found that out the hard way. The dining... is just not good. Five frozen shrimp from Lucky's dropped on a plate for $18 and they call it shrimp cocktail. Drinks made by someone who doesn't even know how to make basic cocktails, and the food was served on paper plates and plastic cups. The service staff is made up of clueless kids and people who look like they just fell out of a trailer. My husband asked for a merlot and was told "we only have red or white" and then they brought him a glass of rose from a box. Literally 1985 flock of seagulls hair on a coughing cigarette of a woman was our waitress. The bar was full of drunken women screaming at each other. The whole thing was totally unappealing.

You can tell a lot of thought went into it. That said, this is not for kids. The course is advanced. Like... one hole our group of 6 couldn't even get the ball to go in. The Skate Park blinded us too. Still fun, just definitely not your typical easy mini golf. The app for keeping score was a great touch and worked really well. I do wish they had more ball color options though, some are hard to see with the lighting. One heads-up: some parts of the floor look flat but are actually raised, so it's easy to trip if you're not paying attention. Overall, really creative, really fun, just better for adults than kids. We had a great time and would still recommend it, just know what you're walking into. I don't think the kids will appreciate it as much as adults. However, outside of mini golf theres a lot of kid friendly activities like an arcade! We also enjoyed some bowling!
