I had GI issues for 7 years including symptoms such as extreme constipation, poor digestion and…read moreabsorption of nutrients, acid reflux, bloating, discomfort, pain and aching, etc. Within 2 years I saw 8 different GI doctors and got every test under the sun done, all to be told I have 'extreme fecal matter' in my intestines and prescribed medicine that didn't work. I started working with Dr. Dan 2 years ago due to several recommendations from neighbors and friends. I had wasted so much money, but as my symptoms worsened, I decided to give Turack Chiropractic a try for nutrition and functional medicine. WOW, what a difference. Dr. Dan prescribed testing that revealed the ROOT of my GI distress, finally! He was able to pinpoint the supplements that would kill the specific strains of yeast/bacteria in my body and actually determined that probiotics were bad for me because my good bacteria were too high. Other alternative medicine doctors threw probiotics at me, which made my system worse! I should also note that Dr. Dan is significantly cheaper than any other doctor I've been to and while he recommends supplements, he lets you choose what you want to take and if you purchase them there or on your own (absolutely no pressure). Natural supplementing takes more time, but, paired with eating well after 1 1/2 years, I feel AMAZING! My energy level is high, I'm digesting food, my body slimmed down as a result, I sleep through the night, and my BMs are regular for the most part now WITHOUT supplements...I couldn't be more grateful for Dr. Dan's help and can live my life instead of being in constant distress! They are nice but not really efficient. I had to visit for a bad migraine. They had to put in an IV to give me fluids. This male nurse came in to give me pain medicine through my IV but failed to warn me that it would be painful. Lets just say I came off the table and ended up in the floor. I was so mad. The nurse then said, "oh yeah, it could sting a little." My thoughts were "REALLY WTF!!!!." lol My husband had to visit the ER for kidney stones recently. They just asked him his symptoms, gave him meds and told him to follow up with his doctor. $100 for that. If you need tests run or bloodwork this facility is great. Apparently Wednesdays is BACON day. HAHA I know this because when my husband was having a procedure done the nurses were all excited that it was Wednesday and they get BACON. lol So a recap: if your loved one needs to have a procedure done schedule it for Wednesday. Although I visited their cafeteria and I didn't think their bacon was good at all. I did enjoy plugging in my laptop and hanging out in the seated area of the cafeteria. It was nice and I got to hear all the chit chatter of negativity from the female nurses. I just tuned them out and surfed away on the wonderful world wide net. ;)

Frustrating experience. No instructions clearly visible to show card to camera. After the receptionist came to the door and explained the process, I was checked in and waited..... and waited.. literally no one was in the room, not even staff. After they finally waited on me, the register screen was broken. The only one not working was in use.. huh?? Had issues w the IPAD and instead of blowing it up (the prices are very small and hard to read), my bud tender just rattled off a couple of options and I took them. I tipped the $2 I was handed back cause by this time it felt awkward and heavy, and I was just frustrated. I've been trying random dispensaries since I received my card 6 months ago, and this was the least enjoyable.
