Update: I called ZocDoc today and they have confirmed my confirmation for my appointment on 6/6 at 2:15 pm was updated on 6/4 with no last min. changes made to the appointment. I am attaching the confirmation photo below from ZocDoc stating that we updated my request on 6/4 for the appointment 6/6 at 2:15 PM and that they can see it was confirmed like I can see it was confirmed on both our ends. As you mentioned, I did use ZocDoc, a 3rd party provider and I have never had any other issues in all the years I have used them. Perhaps, If you have any issues with your ZocDoc and the appointments clients are making through ZocDoc you might consider not utilizing this service any further so as to not cause any problems in the future with your clients. Clients use this service and trust this services to make life easier on everyone becuaes all the inforomation for such appointments are already downloaded and stored in one place for convenience. If this service is not working for your office please don't use it so clients don't waist time going to confirmed appointments that your office does not know about. Also, the 1 star review is give is not because of any mix up between this office and ZocDoc or me changing my appointments. The low star review is because of how I was spoken to and how I was treated directly by Dr. G when I was at the office on 6/6. I was trying to figure out what the diconnect was because I received confirmations for my appointmnet. This simple matter could have been dealt with in a professional and understanding manner and I would have come back and made another appointment only if things had been handled differently. Instead, I was greated with "Who are you" and told "well I sould not be changing my appointments around". Please consider that clients and prospective clients are coming to get releif for physical pain and if they are treated poorly or uncomfortably they will not want to come back or refer anyone else to come see you. read more

Unfortunately, I called this practice on Saturday to schedule a Tuesday appointment and promptly emailed my insurance card afterward. However, I never received any follow-up or paperwork to complete. I was able to see another chiropractor in the 10019 zip code who not only confirmed my insurance coverage within the hour they also got me in for an appointment that same afternoon. They gave me an initial exam and took X-rays and I paid my copay without any issues. If I didn't have chiropractic coverage they would have had the same issue with insurance as you claimed. So at the end of the day I got what I needed they gained a new patient and you're still stuck with the same story. I'm not even mad but wanted to make sure others knew of my experience with your clinic just in case they experienced anything similar. I'm sure my situation wasn't the only time you've conveniently errored in a patients coverage for whatever reasons you feel comfortable with. read more

I visited ChiroclinicHK for the fisrt time with Dr. Gerard Rosato. When I walked in, the place was very modern, clean, cozy and had that Zen like feeling that you might find at a spa. The receptionist there is very friendly as well. I went there for a spine readjustment as I have multiple issues with my spine. Dr. Rosato was not only warm and friendly, but patient and explained his process clearly andwalked me through each step. There is this heating mat with these tourmaline and jade stones placed on my back first to give this pulse of heat to warm the muscles. We then went with a massager after with some muscle warming salve to keep muscles from being sore afterwards. Finally, he slowly proceeded to make the spinal adjustments which used to scare me with other chiropractors in the past due to my crooked spine but Dr. Rosato was so patient with my anxiety and walked me through each step while putting me at ease the entire time. He has such knowledge of health and nutrition besides just medicine. It was such a pleasure to find someone who is more of a naturopathic doctor. Haven't seen Dr. Rosato since before COVID and finally got around to booking an appointment last week and after just one session I started feeling like my old self again! 2 years of working from home part time and adjusting to various WFH positions + not quite maintaining the same workout/stretching routine as before put quite a lot of stress on my body that I didn't pay enough attention to! He also helped relieve some sciatic pain with cold laser therapy. I've been continuously going on a monthly basis for maintenance and the adjustments have kept the pain from reappearing. Terrible customer service I have been seeing this Dr for years, but because of his nasty assistant who is so unprofessional and just refuses to do his job such as verify insurance info and extremely unpleasant. Not only do I work here but I am also a patient. I am a strong believer in Chiropractic Care for preventative reasons as well as injuries. I get a monthly adjustments just to release subluxations that might be causing nerve interference to any vital organs. As the body can only really function at its best when there is no nerve interference and everything is aligned. But about a month ago my mid back ceased up after a hard back routine at the gym. Rocco Tetro handles his patients at his chiropractic office, Chiro Clinix, over in Hell's Kitchen. I came to him for a consultation some months ago and found him to be completely honest about my pain and what he envisioned being the treatment to help combat against it. His office has pleasant decor, something befitting a higher-end massage spa than a chiropracter's office! There's even soothing music - though sometimes not always to my liking - to help relax you while you're in treatment, which lasts about 30 minutes. To handle the influx of patients, Rocco has three treatment rooms, an assistant to help set up and a receptionist, Kelly, to handle everything else. A detraction for some patients may be that the rooms do not go up to the ceiling, so you can hear conversations of others being treated, or phone calls being taken by the receptionist. Also, when there are many scheduled appointments, there can be some waiting. However, I never find these to be an issue as I tend not to schedule anything directly afterward, and once treatment is underway, I relax very easily. Rocco Tetro is definitely worth the visit, at least for a consultation to determine if he's the chiropractor for you! read more

I don't know what kind of physical issues other people go to see Dr Rosato for, but I have been suffering for about a year with Sciatica, which I have been treating in several ways. After receiving a cortisone epidural from a renowned physician at Weill-Cornell, which relieved a LOT of the pain, Dr. Rosato was convinced that he could help to relieve the pain with adjustments. So I allowed him to do an adjustment on me, and after adjusting my back, he pulled hard on my right leg (the one that causes most of the pain), and from the moment I got off his table until the time the day progressed, I could hardly walk on my right leg without feeling intense pain, worse than ever before. I would NEVER RECOMMEND HIM FOR A SERIOUS CONDITION. read more

I've had a history of spinal problems-- juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, double jointed hips, knees and pelvis, and spinal surgery as a kid--so I've been to most doctors in the city, Westchester, CT, you name it and seen plenty of chiropractors. None of them, I repeat, NO ONE holds a candle to Dr. Gerard. Suffice it to say I'm obsessed. You limp in and waltz out-- which is probably why it's frequented by a pretty big broadway/ theatre and dance crowd, looking to get on their feet as soon as possible. I've referred family and friends, all of whom have great things to say. A few minutes, some stim, adjustments and you're on your way-- and better for it, considering the staff's constantly good nature and upbeat attitude. The office is also immaculate (including the bathroom, which is huge). They play calming music, it smells really nice and they use an organic rub that somehow gets deep into your bones and makes everything better.
