She is subtle, so if you're not paying attention you could miss it. She was so compassionate. Her approach is gentle and effective at the same time. I felt so safe in her care. I had neck injuries from a car accident. So, she had to work with my insurance company to get paid. She never complained and helped me through the process so graciously. Me and my wife went here for our Bradley Method Childbirth Education class. Then my wife's hips started to hurt in her 1st trimester almost 2nd trimester. Me and my wife have never been adjusted nor have we ever been a true believer in chiropractic care. We started to go and got her adjusted since she was not able to get any relief from stretching, exercising, yoga or spinning baby techniques. Dr. Anne used these pillows with a cut out in them for my wife's belly to fit on the adjustment table. She said it never bothered her belly to lie down on the table to get her hips and back adjusted. The difference in the way she walked and slept and just her demeanor changed noticeably with a couple of adjustments. She slept through the night, she was completely relaxed physically and it was a load of my mind to see her with a smile agin as we went on dog walks. It makes me wonder if I should make an appointment after my wife gives birth, since I have a middle back injury sustained from my work. Dr. Anne is amazing!!! I met her at the end of my pregnancy when my son decided to turn breech on Friday at almost 41 weeks. My Dr wanted to do a c-section immediately, but the baby was healthy, so we decided to wait until labor started. Anne was an absolute answer to prayer. Because of limited time she met with me after hours and showed me numerous exercises to aid my son in turning back to head down. I was adjusted Saturday and continued to do all the exercises. I went into labor Sunday morning. All the nurses and my Dr. we're amazed to find out he had turned to need down. I had an amazing natural birth and thank Dr. Anne for working with me on such short notice! I started seeing Anne when I was 3 months with round ligament pain. After the first visit, the stabbing pain subdued to a light strain. After the second visit, the strain went away completely. I decided to keep seeing her every week because I felt more relaxed after her visits. I slept so well after her sessions. Her technique is so gentle that I wondered if she was doing anything at all yet, she got rid of my neck pain as well. I was adamant on having a natural birth so, I made my weekly visits with her a priority. I was concerned that my hips would give me a problem during labor. My in-law had a tilted pelvis and the doctors did a few things to her that I would have hated. She had a 36 hour labor (no thank you) I wanted to make sure my baby had plenty of room to grow comfortably and be properly positioned to increase my chances of having a quick birth with little to no complications. My husband did not think any of this was necessary but TO ME, my round ligament pain was a sign that my ligaments around my baby were too tight and will interfere with my baby's positioning; therefore, giving me a harder birth experience. I had no idea breech babies was a thing until I was pregnant and started following some midwives on instagram. Thank God Anne introduced me to Spinning Babies. I wasn't absolutely convinced that the Bradley Method or the Hypno Birth classes ( the two most popular natural birth classes) were for me. She spoke highly of the Spinning Baby Method and I actually felt a connection with the technique. I take her recommendations very seriously since she has worked with so many pregnant women and has been a pregnant woman herself. Her class and the spinning babies video explain the process of birth and the "pain" so well, I wasn't afraid of the pain during my little girl's birth. My labor was only seven hours max. That is considered a very fast labor for a first child. No drugs and all natural. Again, my husband was not a fan of my weekly visits(cost wise) but having to bear his grieving moans and having to sacrifice my Coffee Bean ( and HomeGoods )money was worth it. A very little money up front in the beginning costs nothing when you know you are doing everything you can for your baby and for yourself. The birth experience is so beautiful you guys. Dr. Anne helped me make it through two pregnancies with back pain and sciatica, but it was my second pregnancy where her skill and dedication as a chiropractor became clear. At 36 weeks, my (already high risk baby with Down syndrome and a related heart defect) was noted to be breech on ultrasound. The perinatologist shrugged and said, 'well if baby doesn't turn, we'll schedule an ECV and likely a C-section.' He also said, 'you could try acupuncture' and when I asked about chiropractic, he shrugged and said, 'sure, why not.' So I called Dr. Anne! She fit me in for multiple appointments where she employed the Webster method to make a good environment for my upside down kiddo to turn. She also showed me exercises, directed me towards moxibustion (yuck, but this mama was desperate!) and held my hand a little, too. She came into the office after work to adjust me and I feel like I spent 2 weeks sideways getting this kid turned. And sure enough, he turned! Both of my deliveries were 100% drug free, and quick (notice I didn't say easy - it WAS childbirth!) While some of that might be genetics, I attribute a good portion to Dr. Anne's adjustments and my Bradley preparation. What I really love about Dr. Anne is that she is also a great human being. My daughter got married last month. She had hurt her shoulder and was in a lot of pain. She was not able to move her arm without a lot of pain. Just updating that Dr. Lundquist got me through another pregnancy pain free! My back pain returned in my second pregnancy but after a couple appointments with Ann it went away and stayed away through the time I gave birth! I was also impressed with her diligence to keep patients safe during COVID. She is taking every precaution including sanitizing beds, keeping customers separate, wearing masks, etc. I went a couple weeks after giving birth without coming in and started experiencing back pain from caring for the new baby and my 40 pound toddler so I came back for some postpartum care and am once again pain free. I cannot thank Anne enough. I was referred to her by my midwife due to my extreme back, hip and pubic pain, and due to the fact my baby was in a posterior position (my first born was in a posterior position and you do NOT want that trust me). Not only was she able to substantially relieve my pain that first visit, using the Webster technique, she was able to help guide my baby into an optimal birthing position. She helped me walk like a happy, healthy, normal person instead of a disjointed mess. If you're looking for just a one word review: Life saver! But let me explain: about 8 weeks ago, at about 30 weeks pregnant, I started getting this increasingly painful sting in my pubic area. Getting up and then walking was really difficult and frustrating. I did epsom salt baths, stretched, iced, googled and talked to my OB. My OB basically said it was just part of the process and to buy a girdle and maybe try chiropractic care but outside of that there was nothing to be done. Amazing! I originally started going to see Dr. Lundquist because my baby was presenting as breech pretty late in my pregnancy. We tried everything from Spinning Babies to moxibustion, we could get our baby to turn. (We decided to deliver with Dr. Ronald Wu in Glendale, who would do a vaginal breech delivery. We had a very careful evaluation from both him and Dr Stu Fischbein, he only does home births, who both gave as a great prognosis of delivering safely vaginally. At least that was our plan.) Back to Dr Lundquist. This was my 4th pregnancy and the previous three I could barely walk in my last trimester. After just one adjustment I felt amazing in my hips, lower back, and legs almost like I wasn't pregnant. I almost felt cheated I didn't know Dr. Lundquist before my last one. Though I saw so much improvement my little stinker still wouldn't turn. He had already engaged in my pelvis and he was frank breech making it much harder for him. All my previous deliveries were over 14 hours long. When the time came for our baby to come I thoroughly believe Dr Lundquist made everything line up perfectly. From start to finish my labor was about an hour. We never made it out of our house and our baby boy was born safely in our bathroom. I would say the last 10 minutes were the only pain I felt. All my kids were only 2 or 3 pushes including this one. Also no tearing. It was a great experience. PS my husband is an Anesthesiologist so this wasn't his first delivery... It was his first breech delivery though. It was amazing. I really think it could have turned out differently if I hadn't see Dr Lundquist! I saw Dr Anne for the 1st time after 2 days of stalled labor. My contractions were sporadic, irregular, and not productive. I felt that something was off with the positioning of the baby and was referred to Dr Anne by my sister-in-law. I texted Dr Anne and she called me within minutes to discuss my situation. This was on a Sunday, late in the afternoon! She offered to meet me in her clinic that evening which we did. Her clinic was clean and welcoming. She was friendly and so helpful. I felt completely comfortable in her care. She adjusted me first, which was amazing. Then she worked with my husband and me on the different exercises to help with the baby's position. She took her time with us and made sure that we understood how to do each one.  I went home and felt relaxed, even a bit sleepy. After having dinner, my husband and I did the exercises. Less than 3 hours later and I was in full fledged labor. After laboring at home for 3 1/2 hours we went to the hospital and 20 minutes after arriving our bundle of joy was born! I've been coming to Anne for about 4 years now. I met her through signing up for her Bradley Birth Class. I was not really a fan of chiropractic in my past as I've never really had good results ( I tried it a several times, at several locations) and I've suffered joint and chronic pain since I was in junior high so for over 15 years. I'll admit I was pretty skeptical not only about chiropractic in general, but especially since I was pregnant with my first baby. Of course I wondered about the safety and I just couldn't visualize how on earth you would be able to do chiropractic on someone with a big belly. She uses a different type of chiropractic technique I guess it's called the Webster technique. I found it very gentle and very effective, and she uses special tools like a hydraulic tilting table (not sure if that term is correct), and giant pillow(s) with the belly cut out so there is absolutely no pressure on the baby. I have a very short torso and the pregnancy was really taking it's toll on my hips and back and I was having very sharp pains on the sides of my lower belly. I cannot tell you how much she helped me. She highly contributed to making my pregnancy more comfortable. She would help gently realign my hips, and help me enormously with my pubic symphysis (I think that's what it's called) which is when the pubic bone tries to separate due to the pressure of the baby (it's incredibly painful and if you don't get help asap you will regret it, in my experience with having this for both pregnancies, if you get help ASAP you will still be able to walk without pain, but if you wait until it gets more strained...you will be in enormous pain with every step.) A theory of mine is if you tend to have over-flexible joints you may be more susceptible to these types of issues due to the pregnancy hormones.) Chiropractic became a regular thing for me that really created many positive changes in my life that I never expected. Other amazing and welcomed side effects of chiropractic for me are deepened sleep, and I mean heavy relaxed sleep (which is rare for me), feelings of being very calm and peaceful and feeling gratitude (I feel more loving towards myself and my kids etc, yes I realize this sounds weird and hokey but it's just my experience), it's an incredible mood helper, and relief of pain that was so constant and all encompassing that I don't even realize I'm experiencing it until it is relieved. I now believe that the body and the mind and emotions are very connected. I have experienced another fantastic life enhancing positive side effect...relief of depression and anxious feelings after adjustments. I definitely did not expect this at all. Now, if I'm feeling pretty low or just so anxious I'm not functioning well, having difficulties concentrating, or handling normal daily stresses...my husband tells me I need to "Go to the chiropractor" lol. I used to think why would I want to go to a chiropractor when I'll just have to go back over and over again? If you are used to the typical medical quick fix take a pill model like I was, I just didn't realize the way it works and the way it is supposed to work. Now, If you have a minor issue, yes you can definitely get that quick fix maybe in a few sessions. For me and others with more widespread or chronic issues, or pregnancy, the benefits you will receive from regular or semi regular care are incredibly* worth it. It improves my day to day life dramatically. I am now a firm believer in chiropractic and no longer believe it to by "quackery" or whatever other ridiculous attacks it has received from the mainstream. I'm sad that my prior ignorance prevented me from this relief long ago. She also helps infants, and this helped my daughter's colic, and whenever one of my children is going through a rough patch, like teething, or testing/pushing all my buttons/moody, or a period of sleeping poorly for no apparent reason I'll bring them in for an adjustment and it's so helpful! I first met Dr. Anne when I was 41 weeks pregnant and my baby was sunny side up. We need the baby to turn in the proper position. I saw Dr. Anne for what I would consider the best adjustment I've ever had.
