You can't request any music - an instrumental / ocean waves are the only option you have. I don't particularly enjoy beach wave sounds, but it's easy to tune out. She didn't ask for my preferred scent (though she did make sure I wasn't allergic to anything), which was also a disappointing - I was hoping to be able to pick one out if possible. The massage itself was great - she did an amazing job with applying DEEP pressure, which I really needed with some knots in my shoulders. Since you don't have your own room your masseuse has to really whisper and you can hear when other clients next to you are arriving or departing. It wasn't bad, just different.
