It's clear immediately this is a "value doctor" selling you on the best price and not the best quality or service. Fast forward to my exam - The doctor claimed he couldn't hear the popping in my back as he was pushing and making it happen, even with it happening multiple times. He made claims that my back was in "exceptional" shape and that I had zero need for any further care after a rear end car accident. There were multiple discrepancies in his report, things not recorded or seemingly purposely left out. The same day, right after this appointment, I attended a separate independently set up evaluation at Mary Free Bed rehabilitation clinic where I was seen by an Osteopathic Doctor. This doctor had a very long list of things I am suffering from including the popping/snapping, periscapular problems, spinal issues, etc. I believe that Dr Aamodt isn't the best choice as a result of him missing very obvious and blatant things with my condition or choosing not to honestly report his findings. Hard to argue when 5 other medical service providers have been able to find and notate these issues within the last few weeks. As a result of all of this, I would highly consider a different practice.

Carmel greeted me right at the door and was so friendly and accommodating! If you park in the lot, she will validate your parking ticket for you. Doctor Monica spent over an hour with me for a consultation and adjustment. We spoke in depth about my pain and concerns, and then she explained what she believed we needed to work on. She said she really focuses on muscle therapy, in addition to adjustment, which has already made a world of difference after one visit. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for 8 years, and it has recently worsened. After one session with her, I am feeling much better. I then had a massage with Alicia, and it complimented my adjustment perfectly! I've never had a professional massage focus time on my head and feet, and it felt so nice! Important to point out, the practice is currently only accepting BCBS insurance. I'm fortunate to have that so I only have a co-pay for the adjustment and massage, but if you don't have BCBS, the massage would be $80, and I'm not sure the cost of the adjustment. Also worth noting is that the office space is so nice! It's clean, modern, inviting, and has spa vibe to it, as opposed to a medical office. Finally, it's located in Gaslight Village, so after my appointment, I ventured to Starbucks for a coffee and to read my book. Great day!

However, after an auto accident with whiplash in 2020...Dr. Angel assured me the whiplash would go away with consistency ...and it did. Between the medical massages, X-rays to watch improvement, and every chiropractor session he would genuinely want to know what was bothering me each session, and then would check every body point from feet to neck for alignment with paying extra attention on the issue that kept me up at night. After 6 weeks, I never felt so good. The entire staff felt like family! To get to this point, you need to be consistent and follow his directions. Recently, I had a strange throat clicking and a 'Stone' stuck in my saliva glands. I called Dr. Angel up after not being in his office for a year (due to feeling better), and asked if he could help me after two ER visits and two primary care visits. Instantly, he said come on in. He took the time to examine me in a private room, did X-rays to make sure it wasn't a tumor or abscess, and told me a couple of sessions would fix the issue. He was exactly right. Please know, when you choose this chiropractor office...they consider you like family. He takes his profession seriously and aims to help you. Each session is personalized. Yes, it's a business. When you do repeated injections in the painful area and it doesn't help, he tries to shame you into continuing the injections anyway. If he had bothered to review my prior MRI or order a new MRI (and any good practitioner would have), he would have found that it was referred pain from a severe back problem that can't be fixed with injections and requires surgery. My advice is to try somewhere else that isn't just a needle-jockey mill.
