    Wax sealing kit

If you're a stationary lover, C&C is the place for you! Whether it be pens, paper, crafts, or wedding invites they have beautiful options to choose from. I love to just pop in and look around, of course I always find something. My most recent trip I snagged one of their customizable wax sealing kits and a few pens.

I was drawn to this cup (retired teacher)!

Chirps and Cheers is the coolest stationery shop! My first visit was on a YELP event night, and I know that I will be back. Chirps is a small shop, but it is packed with wonderful things. The collection of gifts, cards, invitations, pens, planners and desktop necessities kept our attention for quite a while.

This is a gift shop and stationery store that I had no idea existed until I came here with Yelp Elites last night. First, thru had done great datebooks. In fact, my bff really wanted one of the date books (I should text her hubby). There were a lot of really cool things there they I liked. For example, a pin they said bossy. They is so me! There was a notebook and the cover read "the future is female." They also have traditional stationery for weddings and events. They also have a great card selection. These are so much better than buying cards from a pharmacy. They are more unique and personal. They also had coffee mugs. I don't need another mug, but there was one I wanted that had a beehive on it.

    so many cute things!

I love this store! Wish we had it in Tulsa! My friend and I were staying at the Ambassador Hotel for a calligraphy class. We got there early and the staff recommended some shops just down the street-including Chirps and Cheers. Oh my gosh, this store is so cute! The owner Susan was there and was so friendly and helpful. As an illustrator, I am obsessed with markers and anything paper or stationery related, so of course my friend and I got some fun stuff! They have great gifts and cards too. I loved the look of the store and everything in it! Cute friendly dog too. My friend got some gifts so Susan wrapped them (complimentary!) We told Susan that we were going to shop and eat in OKC that evening and the next morning so she wrote out a list for us of places we should try (listed by area of town). So helpful! I can't say enough good things about Susan and her store. Oh looks like they have calligraphy classes too......

An example of the type of custom invites they can do!

I absolutely love this little stationery store. It truly is the best one in OKC. They have the best notebooks and pens, not to mention all the custom invites and personalized stationery options...some of which they do in house! Their foil prints are amazing and their card selection is the best you'll find in all of OKC for suuuure. The other little things they carry such as gift wrap, erasers, planners, calendars, are all from my favorites like One Canoe Two & Rifle Paper Company. Visiting this store always puts a smile on my face!

Need to do some holiday shopping but don't know where to start? This cute little shop in Midtown, OKC is the perfect place to pick up the cutest cards, gifts, and stationary. I have loved this store for so many years and I enjoy looking at all the unique cards and pairing them with a thoughtful gift! The new shop owners are so kind and are willing to help you make the best purchases. While you're shopping midtown in check out some of the other local shops. It is such a fun area of you haven't been! Highly recommend this adorable shop!

Love showing up with gifts from C&C

Chirps and Cheers is like if all my dreams of paper and office supplies and good customer service and puppies all got married and had a meticulously, yet creatively, wrapped baby. Want a great selection of hilarious cards and unique gifts? Got 'em. Want custom designed stationary? Got 'em. Want to kiss all your disposable income goodbye? You can do that here, too. And you won't even mind because the owners are just so damn nice. I bet they won't even tell your husband because they'll probably just write it in one of their Chirps and Cheers journals. And I think we can all agree that secrets are best kept on beautiful stationary, am I right???

Just one gorgeous little vignette, in a store that's beautiful everywhere you look!

Cute stationary store. Picked up a few cards and a pocket calendar. Good selection so I'm likely to return when in town.

This is not just my go-to florist but it's also one of the first places I go for celebration cards and gifts. I can always find a unique something for any occasion. Fave!

I even share mutual friends with Amy in the art and music scene, so I thought this would be a heartfelt connection. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that. I paid over $100 (including delivery) and specifically requested no orange or dusty pink, no warm tones--the bouquet was entirely those colors. It was also significantly smaller than the arrangement I ordered last year from this same shop at a lower price. As someone who grows peonies myself, I understand their cost and value--and I know they're perennials, relatively low-effort to maintain, and not rare at all. Just seasonal like tulips, ranunculus, anemones etc. I asked for peonies and showed pictures online of the arrangement from last year filled with peonies. When I asked why it was so much smaller (even when I paid more this year) and only had two peonies, Amy sassily remarked that flowers prices have gone up "astronomically" and peonies are $8-10 a stem. Okay well for $80 then include at least 6 peonies and the rest with filler foliage. Super basic math. I told her she should have communicated that beforehand and asked if I wanted all peonies or some with other filler flowers. Tbh when I ordered the flowers she was short with me and didn't seem bothered to care what I had to say. Should have taken that as a red flag from the egotistical monster she's become. Florists may justify the inflated pricing with excuses like "higher demand," "labor," or "limited availability," especially around holidays. But what this really is, is emotional price gouging--manipulating sentiment for profit rather than celebrating it with integrity. That kind of business model turns meaningful gestures into overpriced transactions, and it shows. When I calmly called to explain my concerns, I disclosed that I'm autistic and was trying to advocate for myself because she wouldn't let me finish a single sentence. I said I was getting overwhelmed and that this was hard for me as she continued to over talk my every word with extreme hostility. It had me very startled. Instead of compassion, I was met with yelling, dismissal, and cruelty. Amy steamrolled me the entire time, wouldn't let me get a word out, and left me in tears. I had to have my husband take over the call because I couldn't emotionally handle the way she was treating me. The experience left me deeply shook. I was not expecting that at all from someone in a customer service job. All she had to do was take accountability for her mistake and say sorry and deliver a new bouquet in exchange for the wrong one or refund me. It's that simple. We even offered to pay an additional delivery fee! This unprofessional experience didn't need to happen. She refused any resolution other than a 20% refund or have my mother (the recipient of this gift) go out of her way to awkwardly bring the bouquet in to change out a couple flowers, which is unacceptable. I reasonably requested a new bouquet delivered to her I was met with laughter and ego. What hurt also is that this shop brands itself around artistry and community--but it became painfully clear that if you're not "someone" on Amy's radar or someone wealthy, you're not treated with respect. She said "you only spent $100 so that's what you get". Two peonies and cheap filler flowers. That kind of judgmental, elitist energy has no place in customer service business. This was one of the most degrading experiences I've had as a customer--let alone a neurodivergent one. In the end, I was refunded minus delivery fee after they realized how embarrassing their behavior was. I believe in supporting local, in giving grace, and in honest dialogue. But I also believe in calling out abusive behavior--especially toward disabled people trying to advocate for themselves. This was a painful and unnecessary experience, and I will never support this shop again. Amy, get some help you are toxic.

Although most places that do the work for you do charge a convenience fee--so no surprise there. Sometimes it's nice to pay a little more and have the plant project be done without running to several different stores (or getting your nails dirty). That's where The Plant Shoppe comes in. I guess if I averaged this out I should be rating The Plant Shoppe a 4 but I just couldn't do it. This place has been on my radar for a while because of the succulents and as we walked by one evening (after closing time), we saw a huge and beautiful bird of paradise int he window. We went back to inquire. There was only one other person in the shop. We waited patiently until she left to inquire. We were simply told, "It's not for sale" and the clerk immediately went back to her phone. We did end up buying some totally overpriced cacti. I might be back. Work on friendliness though.
