My favorite spot. Now that I have a kiddo I get to grab my coffee and read while he plays. I love there book stamps you buy a book you get a stamp. This place is always clean and it you don't have money to buy a coffee, they literally have a free coffee station. Love this spot .

An excellent bookstore with a wide selection of different books as well as a cafe that serves coffee, tea and snacks like wraps/sandwiches. They also have a punch card system where if you buy a certain number of books you get store credit or free books. They also occasionally have readings, music shows and speaker events as well, and they used to have a section dedicated to Ralph Ellison (who was from OKC). Highly recommended!

Was skeptical based on the location and exterior ... but don't judge this book by its cover! Great selection and much more robust than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Staff pics was a little slim for an Indie, but still had thought provoking options.

Literally obsessed with this place. The space itself is just magical with real fireplaces scattered around the store, the kids section is awesome, the cafe is amazing and I love all of the events they are always doing. There's a door in the cafe that leads you to a quant outside space with tables. Looooveee.

Blind date with a book. These are so fun!

This is what a bookstore should be. It's a local, non-chain shop located in 50 Penn Place off of Northwest Expy. You enter into a small nook with lots of wood tones, a small cafe and room after room of various book genres and cute sitting areas. They even have a beautiful fireplace that was lit. Prices were not as cheap as online retailers and they did not have a huge selection of hard covers but it's important to support businesses like this so I don't mind paying retail price. The staff was cool and on weekends they have live music so it's a place to hang out.

I visited here during my vacation earlier this month in OKC. I enjoyed my visit. I believe it was on a Saturday, early evening. They had a live band at the bookstore that evening and a packed room full of patrons. They offer a wide selection of books here. Unfortunately, the local authors or books were in the section where the band was performing. They also have a nice cafe here. A variety of hot and cold beverages are served along with sandwiches and pastries. Staff is friendly and helpful. A staff member helped me with books I wanted to browse. He had good customer service skills. I like the feel and look of this bookstore. It has an old school and new school twist to it. I would definitely return here when visiting OKC again.

Excellent selection of books, plenty of cozy nooks, music on the weekends, and a cafe that serves lunch, gelato and beer and wine.

I've been subscribed a little over a month to the Norman Transcript, and have received my paper…read moreevery day before 7 a.m! I've also tried out the larger newspapers that consistently had delivery issues. If you are looking for local news, weather, comics, and some coupons, the Norman Transcript is the best paper.

I quit getting the Norman Transcript shortly after I got off the City Council in 2008 because I was…read moretired of picking it up out of the street or gutter every day. On Feb 28th the circulation manager was at Crest pushing the paper. I told him why I quit getting it. He asked where I wanted it and I told him my front porch.. just like when I delivered newspapers in Wisconsin as a kid. He said if I subscribed, he would guarantee it would make it to my porch, and if it didnt I should call. We agreed on a three month trial for $25.00, and I paid in cash (big mistake, but I dont normally carry checkbook and dont trust them with my credit card). I figured three months would be enough time to determine if they could consistently find my pourch. He said it would take a week to 10 days for the paper to start. I didnt get a paper. I called the circulation dept and left a message. The same guy was at Crest on March 13th. I complained that i had never received a paper When I was leaving Crest he told me he took care of it, and the subscription start date would be adjusted.. still no paper...I called and emailed.. no paper... I called again March 25th, finally getting a human, and demanded that since they were unable to provide me with a newspaper, i wanted my money refunded. i was told that was handled from out of town and would take up to a month. today i got mail from the transcript. No, not my refund, no not an apology, it is a renewal notice ! I left them a nasty message.
