We had a feral male kitten they neutered and shots for $180, but our sweet female kitten with one night of boarding, labs, and shots $438!! I was not informed of the significant increased cost for a domesticated kitten (knowing females are more expensive) when making the appointment. Also the line items added to the spay totaled $180! Dr. Todd called and said he showed my husband the cost amount before, but my husband only saw the "release for surgery". We loved this clinic before, but cannot recommend any spay or neutering services for domesticated cats due to prohibitive costs. Very sad, very disappointing. This is the first time taking care of 4 Humane Society adopted kittens in our home, but we are spaying/neutering a feral cat colony in our area and have already taken care of 5 cats. When asked why he would not see him he tried to redirect the question and would not give us an answer. My dog was loosing an immense amount of blood and it was expressed multiple times we could not find any other care. When we asked what to do next the he told us that he should be fine if we just wrapped it up for the night or take him all the way to Nashville.
