I had the good fortune of being assigned Dr. Pat McGrath concerning the troubling behavior of formerly feral Blue Daddy, who, at 10 years plus, Dr. McGrath suggested, was acting needy and clingy on even the hottest days because of arthritic pain and not massive hairballs, and advised monthly injections of Solensia to ease the pain and restore his mobility and good humor. I was surprised and satisfied with the diagnosis and returned to the Clinic in the afternoon with Bosco de Gama, also about 10, who also received the Solensia injection. Blue Daddy is still a bit draggy and clingy today, but Bosco made a remarkable overnight recovery and this morning was running under the shower curtain, jumping into the bath tub, and leaping onto the toilet lid, waiting to be brushed. I can't thank "Dr. Pat" enough, and plan to make monthly visits to All Creatures for the Solensia injections that will keep the kitties happy and healthy for along time to come. read more

Financially, everyone knows vets can be expensive. The staff here are amazing with animal handling and are very easy to communicate with on expenses when it comes to appointments. Whenever I ask how much something will be they give me multiple options and prices. This varies on the situation. But I have never been given a vet bill that I wasn't expecting. We've been going here for several years BUT now absolutely no longer! A Doctor Rachel, absolutely talked down to me about our cat!!! She is a horrible veterinarian!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our cat, Zeva, was there due to her having a walking issue (possibly arthritis). Naturally wanted x-rays and such. Of course anything for more money! I agreed and it didn't prove anything!!! I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. First and foremost, they saved the life of my dog Ginger. I do not live in Bowling Green but was coming to town to visit family. My dog had eaten a poisonous plant, was getting worse everyday and I knew I had to get her seen by someone immediately. I explained the symptoms and they understood the severity. They said bring her in ASAP and they would work her in, even though no appointments were available. They took excellent care of her and were very thorough in their examination. They even kept her overnight to make sure that she was going to be ok before I took her home. Everyone that dealt with was compassionate and professional. We have been taking our dog to All Creatures for a while. We have always been happy with his care but he never had any major issues before. Today, he was evidently in a great deal of discomfort so I took him in. We waited in the parking lot an hour because they closed the office for a staff meeting. With nobody else there when I walked in on reopen, I was told no walk-ins. When I asked if other vets take walk-ins, I was lied to and told nobody else does. Except the first vet I called, Greystone, does exactly that. Just like with my childrens' pediatricians, healthcare facilities that don't allow walk-ins are absolutely unacceptable. We will find the doctor who will help us when we need help outside of routine check ups, and we will give that doctor our business. read more

We have been taking our Brittany's to these Vets, mostly Dr Nancy. For 5 years. Very smart and nice and genially concern for our dogs. Open convenient hours, really nice front desk staff. We recommend them. We are Brittany breeders. Most of the time we have 15 dogs and a litter of pups. We breed 3 litters each summer so are very busy and rely on All Creatures for support. Just Awful I had been taking my senior dog here for years. Their prices for dog care were getting unbelievably high. He was having seizures and other issues and didn't feel like changing vets at his stage in life. He came down with cancer and had a short time left. They had said he has maybe two weeks left It's very hard to make that decision for the finally day. But any parent will know when it is time. He wasn't eating and hadn't drank water past 12 hours. I called on a Friday morning and asked for euthanasia. And was told no due to meetings. I explained my dog needed it that day. Said no, tomorrow. Explained it needed to be today. And was told no. I couldn't believe after all the Extremely High bills I had paid they expected my pet to suffer another day. I wound up going to Westgate Vet who couldn't have been more caring and accommodating at our time of need. I will never take any of my pets to this place or have a kind word to say about All Creatures. All Creatures was highly recommended to me by a friend who has taken her pets to Dr. Pat since the practice opened. My first couple of visits were for routine exams and vaccinations and I was impressed with the professionalism, friendly welcome and the kind way Dr. Pat and Dr. Sarah treated my dogs. So when my 14 wk. old Great Dane puppy became very ill suddenly I took her to All Creatures. Her two parvo tests came back negative and the vet sent me home with some pro-biotic paste and some worm medicine. My pup kept passing bloody, soupy stool and vomiting all through the night and was extremely weak. I took her in first thing Sat morning and had the gross misfortune to see Dr. Rachel Profitt Had I not insisted on X-rays and a sonogram, Dr. Rachel would have summarily sent my pup home for "observation" because she had no idea what was wrong. Even after reviewing the sonogram, Dr. Rachel had no idea what was going on with my now extremely weak puppy. Dr. Rachel was cold and condescending in her manner toward me, seemed totally unconcerned about my pup and summarily sent me off to the ER Clinic in Nashville. I took my now extremely weak and unresponsive pup to Nashville where the vet saw her immediately, gave her IV glucose and antibiotics and repeated the x-rays and sonogram. The sonogram was almost identical to the sonogram Dr. Rachel took at All Creatures and had no idea what she was looking at. The Nashville vet knew immediately what was wrong - my pup had a parasite bolus which had blocked her intestines, causing them to telegraph into themselves and creating a rupture in the intestinal wall. My pup's intestinal contents were leaking into her abdominal cavity and my pup was septic. The only solution was surgery to repair the rupture but by this time my pup was too weak to survive the surgery and I had to put her down. I have been told since that this is not an uncommon situation in puppies and Dr. Rachel, who supposedly has been practicing for 10+ years should have been able to diagnose this problem and advise me accordingly. I would have chosen to humanely euthanize my pup rather than drive to Nashville and put her through another 4 hours of pain and a slow death. When I called the following Monday to lodge a complaint against Dr. Rachel and explain what happened, I received a vague response that Dr. Pat would look into the matter. Dr. Pat's solution was to "fire" me as a client and refuse to treat my other pets. Dr. Rachel is still on staff there, incompetent and uncaring as ever. I believe that the other vets at All Creatures are competent, compassionate professionals. Dr. Rachel is not. That Dr. Pat chose to "fire" me rather than address the situation with Dr. Rachel, who has received other complaints, is very telling in my opinion. If you decide to use this clinic, be sure to avoid Dr. Rachel if you love your pets. read more

WAY OVER PRICED. I have been going there for years with my cats and the prices keep going up and up. Four cats and it cost me over $550. The staff is very friendly and I love Dr. Marcus who takes his time with each pet and explains to you the issues with them. After moving back to Bowling Green from a 4 year absence, I took my Cocker Spaniel to the Vet office I used before I moved away. All the Vets were no longer there and it was dirty! So I tried another Vet office down the street. Very unhappy with the Vet. Had lab work done. She told me she would call me with the results. I had to call her over a week later to find out the results. Poor bedside manner also. Not friendly or thorough. I took Abby to All Creatures for her annual Vaccinations and annual exam. Dr. Pat was very thorough in his exam. Asking lots of questions about her. Spent a long time with me explaining about her current health. Very happy with Dr. Pat and also the very friencly staff. This establishment's priority is taking your money whilst doing it with a smile. Background information: My 2 pets are indoor-only and come from different owners from different states. On my first visit, I was told one of my pets had coccidiosis. Both were treated with their exorbitantly-priced Albon Suspension. (Seriously, look it up.) Also in that visit, I was told that the Advantage Multi would protect against fleas, ticks, and worms. I applied the Advantage Multi to both of my pets a couple of weeks before I revisited the vet. On my second visit, I was told that my pets had worms, in addition to worsening coccidiosis. It was then that I was told that the Advantage Multi is only a "mild de-wormer." This time, my pets were also seen by a different vet who said that both of my pets had immature immune systems. Having fostered several dozen cats and kittens over the years, that was the first time I'd heard of that. Also, what are the odds that, despite coming from different cities and owners, both of my pets have an immature immune system? Lastly, I dare you to compare/contrast the prices for spaying/neutering at their location vs. the Humane Society in Bowling Green, KY. read more
