This has proven to be a well-run, reliable salon for little ones. They have also worked with us when we have run a little late by switching around the schedule-- props to the gentleman at the front desk, we drive a good distance to come to this salon and he has been patient and kind. I'm sure stacking the schedule full of babies and toddlers is not easy. As for stylists, Megan is an absolute pro. She goes quickly and carefully with scissors, and switches out toys strategically (or uses a tablet pre-loaded with kids shows like Daniel Tiger). I also noticed a "quiet room" off to the back with a barber's chair which would be great for sensory-sensitive kiddos. It's clear they have thought of anything kids or parents might need. My two-year-old has asked for a couple haircuts himself, which says a lot about his perspective. He thinks that haircuts are when he has a firetruck in one hand and an ambulance in the other! He always looks so stinkin' cute after (they have short hair options framed on the wall, we always do #5 the "surfer cut"). I don't know what I'd do if this place ever went away...only solution would be for my daughter to never get her hair cut again. Their appointments book fast so it takes some pre-planning. I am not the biggest pre planner, so I took my daughter to another place to simply get it cut and really should have waited. The other place was more focused on getting kids in-and-out fast which is certainly needed too. However, What's taken into consideration (hair thickness, texture, head shape, etc) when a stylist performs a haircut makes a tremendous difference. A haircut has a daily impact, good or bad - so I'll happily preplan for the opportunity to have my daughters haircut here. Also, my daughter likes it here too. I have never been to a salon that is just for kids but I loved the atmosphere. This was my sons 1st haircut he is 11 months old of course he cried threw a fit but his hairdresser Megan Coulter was amazing she tried her best to distract him but was having it I give her big props and we will definitely come back I unfortunately couldn't leave a better tip but the next time we go we so are. read more

I brought in my two year old after previously having been here once and having a good experience with Brittany. He was scheduled with Judy and she was impatient from the moment he sat in the chair. She was stern and demanding with him. For a salon that specializes in cutting hair for children you would think that their employees would be better trained to work with children. My two year old sat quietly for the majority of the haircut and towards the end he started to get a little restless (as most children do). Judy became impatient and forcefully pushed his head down and kept repeating "you're almost done" in an annoyed and demanding voice. She was aggressively attempting to finish the haircut rather than give my child a break to calm down. Any two year old who feels his head being held down forcefully is going to cry. He began to Squirm and try to get his head away. She continued to push him down impatiently until I stepped in and told her that my child needed a break. I picked him up as he cried and his haircut looked silly. Instead of letting him calm down and trying to finish his haircut, she quickly moved on to the next person and proceeded to tell me that he needed "discipline" and that he needed to learn how to act when getting his haircut. Keep in mind, I take him regularly to kuts for kids in broken arrow, where he NEVER cries and always sits very still. Before leaving, since his haircut wasn't complete, I asked the front desk person if we could have Brittany look at his hair since she did so well with him before. She did fix his hair, and accidentally cut his ear. He began to cry and scream (because his ear was cut). After calling management to complain about Judy being forceful and rude, I was told by the man at the front desk that the child was "out of control". This is not the truth. Judy was rude, demanding of my two year old, and impatient from the start. My child did not began to scream and cry UNTIL his ear was cut. Brittany was sweet and professional and she made an honest mistake. However, Judy should not be working with kids that she is too impatient to handle. As far as front desk, do not lie and say that a child is out of control when you know damn well they were crying due to their ear bleeding everywhere. Kuts for kids in broken arrow is far more professional and patient with my child. read more

AWFUL, I won't be back. They rush so much with my 2 girls to try to not make people wait for long in the small waiting area. If you tell the cutter in the last minute you want shampoo she gets mad. The guy keeps cleaning the floor annoyingly in the middle of the haircut. Any of the workers had masks on. Adios amigos, never again. read more

Easy to get an appointment online or walk-in, has a little corner of toys for waiting kids. Good quality professional service, hair stylist was warm and patient and was able to work quickly to cut my daughter's thick hair despite her inability to stay very still. Reasonable price too. They are quite busy though with clients one after another on a Saturday late morning, my only recommendation would be that they take a minute or two to clean up the chair & floor before the next child gets on so they're not sitting on a chair full of another kid's hair! read more

I've always been so impressed with them! The staff has always been kind and courteous, so patient and gentle with my kids! They're very knowledgeable about kids' hair growth as well! My son has a bit of an untamable and very large cowlick that they expertly know how to handle! We've been coming here for a couple years now and still love them! My kids love coming! read more

Where do I start? AMAZING!! My son is 20 months old.. we had been taking him to another children's Hair Salon, and he always screamed the entire time and was scared to death of the clippers! From the time we walked into this place it was an entirely different experience!! Everyone was extremely polite, it was very clean was our first impression. Then the lady that cut his hair, got him right in the chair, was extremely patient with him.. showed him everything she was doing, let him have a comb for his hair.... he never made a sound!! Like I said, amazing! They have special clippers that are quiet! She did a great job cutting his hair too. This is definitely the place we will be going to from now on! This is the ONLY place I take my boys to get their haircuts. My twins are both autistic, one does really well with haircuts while the other does not. The ladies here are always super patient and cut exactly how I want it to be. read more

I have been to this establish and haven't had any complaints. However, if it is important to you, you should be aware that the staff do not wear masks or offer to wear masks at all even when cutting your children's hair (even when your entire family walks in wearing one.) If this isn't a problem for you, then disregard this review, but anyone going there should know this since those individuals are in contact all day long with various individuals also not wearing masks. My children were told to take their masks off; one has very long hair and I am certain could have kept it on (as I have had my much shorter hair cut, dyed, washed and styled on multiple occasions with a mask on). This practice is in violation of the current City of Tulsa Mask mandate; I have looked at it pretty closely and unless I am missing something, they wouldn't be exempt, as beauty salons are on the list of public establishments. read more

If I could give more stars I would!!! The best place to get a hair cut for your kids. They have tablets for the kids to watch while getting their hair cut. The friendliest staff I have ever experienced, and they do a great job. You will not be disappointed. Very reasonable prices and they have hair products for kids!!!
