I wasn't super impressed with the 2 chocolate goods we purchased, but the reason for the 4 stars as well as the reason we would go back to try more things is because of the chocolate coffee we had. I can't remember the exact name, or what was in it other than coffee and hot chocolate, but wow! It was amazingly rich, yet that richness was tamed by the flavor of the coffee. If we lived closer I would honestly be having another one right now. As far as the chocolates we purchased go on the other hand, the chocolate bark with pop rocks was just okay. The pop rocks really gave it some character and it was legitimately fun to eat, but the chocolate flavor was just average. The peanut butter chocolate ball was a big let down. Of course this is all dependent on taste, but it was a very very thin layer of chocolate over the peanut butter, and sadly the peanut butter wasn't really contributing anything to the party. The taste wasn't rich, salty, or in any way stand out. Again it was okay but not something we would get again. Overall, definitely want to go back to try more, and absolutely recommended for a quick stop in to try some treats, especially the chocolate coffee!

Excellent chocolate and very helpful and knowledgeable staff! The young woman working there knew whether every single item in the shop was vegan or not. I had the vegan coconut chocolate cluster and some chocolate covered ginger, both of which were absolutely delicious. High quality chocolate with tons of options for vegans!

One of many little shops on main street Bethlehem. I love the smell of chocolate. Anyway chocolate shop with a few tables to enjoy all the goodies. It was quite busy. So many to choose from. I wanted to try the fluffernutter cups but prices are a little steep for me. They had all sorts of different variations of chocolates. Like chocolate covered figs and pears, jars of different flavored truffles, pop rock chocolate bark and pecan turtles and cashew turtles the size of small plates. My mouth was drooling. Smores pops, chocolate covered pretzels. The list goes on. Definitely would like to go back and try the fluffernutter cups and the black raspberry cups oh and the chocolate covered figs. Their were also some nice little gifts chocolates that were really pretty. Definitely worth a check in if your inner chocolate demon is knocking on your door.

These are not your grand moms chocolate cupcakes. Actually, they're someone else's. Nothing short of an heirloom recipe. And made by the loveliest pink haired temptress you've ever met. Actually, I guess I've ever met. Chocolate on her hands, cocoa on her cheeks, buttercream glistening on her lips. One hell of a cupcake maker. And the creator Chocolatier? She is chocolate love; Spontaneously comfortable, irrepressibly exotic. She is the humanness of humanity. The love of putting your heart into and around the the art you create. The solid dark chocolate is ebony delight, with a sultry smoothness, perfectly glossy smooth shell when licked turning into pure passion, until it melts in complete satisfaction. ......... On your tongue. The cupcakes are intense. Both cake and icing. Chrome body with light yet firm interior, dense chocolate taste, and soft slippery moist icing that says eat me: now! Wow, I'm exhausted.

I love this place! The sea salt caramels are a MUST! I've never had any problems with this shop, candy, or staff. I will not let some negative news story affect my decision to shop here. In fact, I just bought candy there today for Easter. You can pick your own chocolates or grab an assortment box that's all ready to go. **To anyone leaving negative reviews: (Shame on you!) I think it's so pathetic for random people to all of a sudden leave negative reviews for this business after not being present during an incident that happened recently in the shop that made the local news. Let's not forget when this shop has been in the news before for their delicious chocolate! People make mistakes and so many of you are trying to run this lady and her small business out of town for something that doesn't involve you or your children. I'm willing to bet that all of your children would inhale this candy if it were in their Easter basket. Stop being so offended!**

They had great gluten free options. The service was also great! I appreciated the staff's knowledge on gluten allergies.

The name of the chain is a reference to Grandpa Joe from Roald Dahl's 1964 children's book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". After the success of the original 900-square-foot store in Pittsburgh, other locations began to pop up in the surrounding areas. Each one is stocked with over 250 candy bar varieties, nostalgic candies, 250 flavors of old-fashioned glass-bottled sodas, and even novelty gifts. As of this writing, Grandpa Joe's has 21 locations spread out over five states (mainly Pennsylvania and Ohio). My family and I visited the Grandpa Joe's location in Bethlehem (opened October 2019) this past summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We came across the storefront as we were exploring Main Street. We really liked the name of the shop as well as all of the decor. The interior was loaded with every conceivable candy variety that you could think of: chocolate bars, jelly beans, gummies, hard candies, gum, fudge, lollipops, taffy, etc. Many of the candies were ones that I haven't seen, or even thought about, in many years. They also had quite a few novelty and gag gifts. My wife and I let our sons pick out a few chocolate candies to take back home. What really impressed me was the large selection of old-fashioned sodas that were in stock. One of my favorite soda brands is "Sioux City", though I often have trouble finding them. Grandpa Joe's had the largest selection of Sioux City sodas that I've ever seen under one roof. I made myself a mixed six-pack to take home. Whether you're looking for your favorite candy bar, hard candies to make "goodie bags", a funny gag gift, or a nostalgic candy that you haven't seen since your childhood, then you need to make a trip to Granda Joe's!

It was founded by husband and wife Tim Balshi and Soraya Aguilar. The couple first began importing olive oil to the United States in 1999, driving between Maine and Virginia in their old Chevrolet. Aguilar grew up on her family's third-generation olive farm in Jaen, Spain. Jaen is located in a region called Andalusia, which produces 80% of Spain's olive oil. The couple decided to found their own brand, Seasons, in 2009. Their mission was to provide customers with healthy, plant-based, all-natural, everyday luxury olive oils and vinegars that empower home cooks and elevate every type of cuisine. Their first brick & mortar storefront and taproom opened in Bethlehem the following year. Following the success of the original location, additional taprooms opened in Lancaster as well as Anapolis (MD). Additional storefronts (without the taproom element) also opened in Hershey, Wayne, and Easton. My family and I visited Seasons Bethlehem over the summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We were exploring Main Street in Downtown Bethlehem and happened to walk by the storefront. My wife and I love exploring shops that sell gourmet oils and vinegars, so we decided to stop in. They had so many different types of oils and vinegars to try out. In addition to oils and vinegars, they also sell gourmet olives, pastas, syrups, honey, and various types of crackers. We had trouble deciding what to purchase, but finally chose to bring home some Italian Fig Balsamic Vinegar as well as some Honey Hot Sauce. We're so happy to have accidentally discovered Seasons and we hope to return on our next visit to Bethlehem!
