This is an amazing candy store that also sold clothing and bric a brac. Prices were market value and the worker was very pleasant

Wondered what's at the end of the rainbow. Sweets and other things! You can get your sugar treats and place was kept with original decor. Nothing special but it does serve its purpose to put some fun while roaming the nice small town of J. Thorpe.

Cute shop on the Main Street. They have ice cream in the back and candy and other items in the store itself. The ice cream is Hershey brand and delicious. There's a 12 person limit inside the store for Covid and it would be very crowded with that many people since it's a small shop. They have a nice selection of sugar free candies in additional to the usual full sugar variety.

Another Jim Thorpe treasure, located in the heart of the the town of Jim Thorpe is a little ice cream/candy shop called "Rainbow's End". Every child's and big kid at heart dream come true. They have a wonderful display of new and old school candies, chocolates and ice cream. Can't leave without buying something

They have a wide selection of chocolates and candies nestled into a historic building. The staff was friendly and efficient. Their ice cream pies looked amazing, but could bring one along since we were traveling. I'd recommend this diversion off of I-476 when you're in the region!

Prices are very reasonable for ice cream sourced from a farm and it tastes delicious. I really enjoyed perusing all the candy options they had on offer. They have a dedicated seating area to enjoy your treats or you can hop on a stool at the counter just like how many old school soda fountains were set up back in the day. Even before peak summer season, there was a steady flow of customers coming through the doors. The staff seemed like local high schoolers, but they were friendly and working diligently attending to each group that came through the doors. My cookies and cream shake hit all the right flavor notes, so would gladly return and recommend Chantilly Goods to others for their ice cream and sweet tooth needs.

Beginning in 1910, Hershey began to give tours of its chocolate factory to the public. Visitors walked through real production areas to see processes like bar molding, wrapping, and the depositing of Hershey Kiss chocolates. By the early 1970s, the public tours had become too crowded for the active manufacturing plant. Located next to Hersheypark, Hershey opened Chocolate World as an alternate visitor center for the public to learn about the manufacturing process as well as purchase chocolate products in the large retail shop. My family and I recently visited Hershey while we were visiting our cousins in Pennsylvania. My wife and I had both separately visited Hershey when we were children, but this was the first visit for our own children. After taking a tour around town with Hershey Trolley Works, we headed inside Chocolate World. We went straight for the Hershey Chocolate Tour, where the line moved very quickly. It's not a real tour of the Hershey Factory, but rather a simulated one that is family-friendly. Similar to an attraction at Disney World, visitors sit in omnimover-style cars that move continuously along a track through the simulated factory journey. Our sons loved seeing the anthropomorphic chocolate characters who teach visitors about the chocolate-making process. Afterwards, we headed to the retail shop area to grab some delicious chocolate treats to take with us on the road. And don't worry... there were plenty of free samples too! For any families looking to visit Hershey, we highly recommend making a delicious stop at Hershey's Chocolate World!

The facilities are well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and there's plenty to see and do whether it's your first visit or your tenth. A few highlights from my visit: If you're only visiting Chocolate World, you receive two hours of free parking, which is a nice perk. Clean facilities, including well-maintained restrooms. A large gift shop with just about every Hershey product you can imagine. The free Chocolate Tour is a must-do and a great introduction to how Hershey chocolate is made. The tour ends with a free sweet treat, which is always a nice bonus. Plenty of activities for families, chocolate lovers, and first-time visitors. There are also several paid add-on experiences available, including: The Hershey Trolley Works tour Create Your Own Candy Bar Hershey's Unwrapped live chocolate tasting show Of these, I highly recomme nd the Trolley Tour. The staff dressed in old-time attire really bring the experience to life, and their energy, storytelling, and interaction with guests make it a memorable part of the visit. It's a fun way to learn about Hershey's history while being entertained along the way. One thing to note is that the store can become quite crowded during the summer months, so be prepared for larger crowds if you're visiting during peak season. Overall, Hershey's Chocolate World is a fun, family-friendly attraction that offers a mix of free and paid experiences. Whether you're stopping in for the Chocolate Tour, shopping for treats, or taking the trolley ride, it's a classic Hershey experience that's well worth a visit.
