I can't brag on Jean enough. I've never bought a car sight unseen, but Jean was very accommodating and forthright with all my questions. He did a Face Time walk around of the convertible top operation as soon as I asked. Tip-let him handle the shipping. Turns out what he quoted was about what I paid anyway, and the added stress wasn't worth it. Car arrived with a leaking coolant overflow tank, and Jean immediately offered to pay for a replacement (which he did). Recently purchased a Subaru from Choice Auto Brokers. Smooth talker! Paid for and shipped to me. Car was stated to be in great condition, BS!!!! Car was DIRTY inside and out after charging me their $499 dealer fees, couldn't even bother to clean it!!! Multiple discrepancies and cosmetic flaws that were never disclosed! Pictures were very deceptive in eliminating worn, broken or missing parts! Car wouldn't pass North Carolina inspection upon delivery. Paper work was horrible! had to keep doing it over three times because of their fault! Gas tank completely empty!! Over $500 dollars in additional cost to myself as a master mechanic, trying to make the car safe and functional!! VERY, VERY disappointed when car was delivered. What a bunch of scam artist!!! Bought a mini cooper through Choice Auto Brokers. Through the info on CarFax, I made an offer by calling the dealer. They accepted my offer. I was was told it was in excellent condition and had been checked out by their shop. It was shipped to me fairly quickly. However, it was delivered to me "filthy" on the outside with an empty gas tank. It showed 16 miles remaining before needing to fill up. Once fueled, I checked it out mechanically. I noticed it did not brake to well. I found the rear brakes with brake pads worn down to almost nothing. I also found the right brake caliper "frozen". I replaced it along with the pads. Purchased a car from Jean Luc in mid May 2023 upon receipt took car for required Pennsylvania inspection and a general inspection of the overall condition of the car, $8000 dollars later the car is now in a safe and reliable condition to drive. Allow me to share some of the issues found: new top , convertible top was leaking, brakes and rotors, replace both sway bar links to resolve clunking noise, replace vacuum pump, replace missing rear bump stops, includes replacement of coil springs, install missing battery hold down, replace both rear signals to make them shine amber again, replace all four tires that were dry rotted, install drivers power mirror and panel, replace center console and currently look for sun visors which were broken. the cost of this listed work was $8000. I take full responsibility for not reading the reviews that had been posted had I done that I would have never purchased a car from this organization. Naive perhaps but never thought a person selling a car would be comfortable selling a car that obviously need all this work and that was not safe to drive in the condition it was sold. Here is a story about a car purchase from Renauto- Choice Auto Brokers. From my perspective, of course, this is a true story to the best of my recollection. Some might consider it a nightmare. It was a pain that endured and became at the end just a joke. I now consider it a lesson of life and in dealing with people of varying degrees of honesty and dishonesty. I purchased through Ebay a 2008 Audi A-4 Convertible from this fellow at Renauto. He seemed very communicative and friendly. He appeared honest. I paid what he was asking because, as the seller stated, "This is a perfect car". There were incidental issues regarding the bill of sales and registration that seemed neither here nor there, in hindsight, but were clues or tell-tale signs of things to come. The delivery of the car to NYC came and the driver was a very affable kid. I was struck at how seamless the event occurred. I was expecting a big rig and the car was driven directly to my address. Perhaps in amazement, I did not expect the car as I should have. In the excitement of my first NYC car, the car looked great, and I overlooked a few issues; the back rear light was cracked and there was a scrape near it on the back rear quarter panel. I called Renauto and was connected with the auto delivery owner. Renauto said that he would split the price of the light with me. This he honored. The delivery man on the other hand told me on 2 occasions he would be sending me a check for the installation of the light ($500), which never came. On some research I came to find this wonderful businessman had been convicted of real estate fraud. You should know that when I purchased the car I also endeavored to secure a parking space in a garage. This would be both expensive ($800 a month) and problematic in that because the car was sheltered, I assumed the roof was ok. Couple with that none of the mechanics ever even mentioned it. The roof looked fine, to the eye. It should have been inspected. In NY you need to get the car inspected so I brought the car to a well-respected mechanic in Brooklyn. The car I was told needed $2000.00 worth of work. Ok, I thought, well worth the price to be driving a safe car. They did not tell me of the worn brakes, the leaking roof. I drove the car a few times so that the computer would reset for emissions and went to Long Island to play tennis. The car overheated. Then to Connecticut to visit my sister, again the car overheated. I added oil and although the air conditioner never worked, the temperature seemed to be stable. One day, about 4 months into owning the car, the battery went bad. Ok, so I buy a battery. From Audi- $519.00. Thinking maybe this car is not for me, I take it to a car dealership to have it appraised. The car has been in 2 accidents in the rear. This did not show up on my auto research. The car is valued at $2500.00. After about 6 months in the garage, I started to keep the car outside my apartment on the street. This lasted about 2 months. By now, as fate would have it, ebay would not allow a review. Then the rain came. For one weekend it rained and rained some more. Inside the car it appeared dry and normal. Then I inserted the key and nothing. No Windows, no lights, no blinkers, no roof. No nothing. So I had it towed to the Audi dealership. The car computer had been damaged by a leaking roof. The car, totaled. The end. No recourse against RenAuto or Choice Auto Brokers, no recourse against Jean Luc Ferrigno- as his signature announces- "Salesman Extraordinaire". I am Just out of about $25,000.00 for a car that was worth $1500.00. As P.T. Barnum, another great salesman once said There is a fool born every minute, and two to catch him. I purchased a fiero kit car for $27000. I was unable to travel to fl from nj so I had to trust the dealer. They assured me of course that the car was excellent and needed no repairs. That it rode great etc. I bought the cara dead it shipped to nj. I received a car with barely any brakes, a shot clutch... bad shift linkage so you Only have 2nd and 4th gear.... dead battery, Half empty coolant system. This was our first experience buying a car "sight -unseen". My wife wanted a Solara convertible, and after the initial call with Keith we decided to buy it. They handled all the paperwork, sent all the information, and arranged transport for the car. Everything went smoothly, until the car arrived at our home in Ohio. There must have been a leaker on the truck, as our car arrived with oil spots all over the roof and an oily film on the car. After several attempts to find someone who would clean the top (no detailer would touch it), we called Choice to let them know what happened. Without hesitation Jean and Keith immediately contacted the trucking company, and they contacted us to make things right. Thankfully it was not necessary to replace the top, but that was an option if we could not find someone to clean it. We did, and got reimbursed for the cost. Dealing with Jean, The customer service before the sell was great! however less than 4 days into the car I had to add oil which was full synthetic, the car started jerking when approaching a stop and I also had to get an alignment. I don't understand how you're selling someone a car if you're a dealer and services have to be purchased after you lied and informed me no services were needed due to the fact you had the car inspected. Be sure you check the interior condition as well because he doesn't list anything retaining the condition if its poor. Stealer never informed me of interior condition until I got there and saw it for myself. A sticky liquid was spilled all over the center console making the climate control buttons very sticky and not wanting to function correctly. This stealer is a joke! read more

Anyone looking to purchase at Choice Auto, please ask many many questions, and get all the answers in writing. If you are looking to purchase an Audi SQ5 VIN WA1VGAFP5EA039920 please be aware that the FRAME is BENT and cannot be repaired by Audi. Because of this many of the vehicle sensors will not function or not function properly. Yes, the sensors can be overridden to give you a false sense of security. My dealings with Choice Auto Brokers started good, but soon turned South. I was the unfortunate person that found out the Audi has frame damage (not disclosed) and that a previous accident was not fixed properly. I could write for hours on the problems with this car, and have several pictures for your reference. Initially, I was giving CAB the benefit of the doubt for many of the problems, until my local dealer informed that they spoke with Jean Luc directly and that he knew of the frame damage and he was hoping someone a buyer would not find out. Because of the frame damage, the SUV is undergoing untold stress, which is likely causing other pieces to bend and break. Also note, that the crappy work that Jean Luc personally authorized prior to selling this SQ5 to me includes patching leaking hoses with lock tight or some goop. If you purchase it, please know what you are getting into to. In end the only way to get Choice Auto to take the SQ5 back was with legal action. There is no way I can recommend anyone purchase anything from these Charlatans. read more

What a terrible experience. I found a car from Choice Auto Brokers on Ebay. After bidding on it and not meeting the reserve price, Jean-Luc messaged me with a counter offer. I replied with my counter offer, and after some discussion, he accepted. We talked on the phone and I asked about the car's condition. He said it was "11 out of 10 - incredible condition." Since they aren't open on the weekend, I took off a Friday from work and drove down to Ft. Lauderdale to test-drive and pick up the car. I found a random mechanic to go and check out the car before I arrived. When I got there, I test drove it - and it drove well. The mechanic said everything checked out except that the tires had about 60% tread left. We brought it up to JL and he confirmed, but said everything else was good. I bought the car after being a bit nervous about CAB not offering any kind of dealer warranty. JL assured me that, if anything went wrong, I could give him a call. Within 20 minutes of leaving and being on I-95 rush hour traffic, I had a flat tire warning on two tires. I filled up the tire and continued. Another 10 miles down I-95, I started feeling a thud every second or two. No flat tire warning. By this time, it was dark out and I stopped in West Palm Beach for the night so I could get it checked out before going another 150 miles. The next morning, the mechanic said that all four of the tires were used and from different suppliers. The front right tire had two "flat spots" that had been covered up so as to not detect them during a test drive. The rear left tire had a leak. They were also out of alignment. I was told my three mechanics I should replace all four. I contacted JL by email. He didn't respond. I called him and he assured me he'd call back, but didn't. I wrote a strongly-worded email and he said "I'm not responsible if you ran over a nail after leaving." I called back once more and he yelled at me for two minutes before hanging up abruptly. He refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, and offered to sell me four used tires for $200 if I would come back to Ft. Lauderdale - an inflated price, and requiring another 400 mile roundtrip and a day off work - while driving with faulty tires. In his last email, he accused me of extortion. I ended up spending 10% of the car's price to replace the tires immediately after buying the car, even though I was assured "everything is an 11 out of 10." The worst part? The customer service at the end. Avoid this dealership. read more

I would not recommend this place. The only reason it gets two stars is because shipping was exceptional, good price and shipped quickly. However, upon receiving the car I purchased from them, it was clear they were less than honest with their advertisement, and any service after the sale appears to be non-existent. And by 'service after the sale', I mean a simple honest answer to an email question that would help in my future maintenance of this vehicle. I'm not asking them to do anything that costs them money. So I find their unwillingness to be a slap in the face. The specific description of the car that I take issue with is following: "Its in excellent shape inside and out, and it runs and drives better than when it was new. This is a top-quality build from an original 1972 MGB using the original body. It is designed and built to a high standard, with great attention to detail, using quality components." Now any reasonable person reading this description would think 'Hey, at least the brake lights work' (hint: they didn't), or 'Hey, at least this car can legally be driven on public roads (hint: it can't, because brake lights and blinkers don't work). When someone says, "better than new", that means these small things that are required to be able to drive and register the car actually work. Also, come to find out that the slave cylinder (which is a required part for shifting the transmission) needs to be replaced. When the ad says the car has a Sony AM/FM stereo with MP3 capability, a reasonable person expects the speakers to produce sound from that radio (hint: they don't). These are all easily discoverable items within two days of receiving the vehicle, and these are items that would have cost this auto broker less than $300 to find and fix. Let's be clear, I'm not complaining about my purchase. I knew I was taking a risk buying this car from afar and inspecting it upon receipt. I just take issue with blatant dishonesty in the advertisement. People who hold themselves to high standards, as this company claims, don't do this kind of stuff. So, I just want others to be aware that when this dealer describes a car as being in "Excellent Shape, built to a high standard, and better than new" that means they are describing a car where present components don't work, the car cannot be legally driven on public roads, and integral pieces to the operation of the car may need replacement.
