I didn't know how a few more dollars a month provides so much more coverage. For example, I got in an accident a couple months ago, and since I purchased accident-forgiveness for a few more dollars a month, my premium didn't go up, even at renewal. This saved me a bundle! SW Insurance can issue policies by multiple insurance producers and with their price-comparison tools, major insurance providers like Progressive, Alfa, Grange, State Auto, and Liberty Mutual are competing to have me as their customer. This is how I know I'm getting the best price without compromising adequate coverage. I wholeheartedly recommend this agency, they are for the customer. Lastly, they're availability is second to none. In my fast-paced busy lifestyle I don't have time to be on hold, or make a call, that's why I'm grateful for SW Insurance's TEXT FOR SERVICE. Customer's can text questions and receive a response without wasting anyone's time due to a busy office like other agencies.

My objective was to obtain an International Driving Permit during posted business hours, a standard service that is readily available to walk-in clients. Unfortunately, my multiple attempts to complete this transaction resulted in a significant waste of time due to staff absenteeism and a total disregard for professionalism. The sequence of events was as follows: I called the branch beforehand and verified they were open until 5:00 PM. However, when I arrived at noon, the door was locked with a sign stating staff would return at 3:30 PM. This resulted in two hours of wasted travel and wait time. The following day, I left a voicemail to confirm staff availability before making another trip. I received no response. I called again a day later and left a second voicemail, which also went ignored. Two days later, my subsequent phone call again went entirely unanswered. Frustrated by the lack of response, I contacted your Gaithersburg office. A helpful representative there contacted the agent at Herndon and was assured they would be open after 3:30 PM. Based on this confirmation, I drove 50 minutes to the office. Upon arrival, the office was locked once again, displaying the same sign stating staff would return at 3:30 PM. Phone calls to the office went unanswered, and when I contacted the Gaithersburg branch, they were also unable to reach anyone at this location. This second trip resulted in an additional 2.5 hours of wasted time. The complete and utter disregard for common courtesy and respect, reflects very poorly on AAA. This level of unreliability and lack professionalism is entirely unacceptable. Though I suspect this will fall on deaf ears, I hope this will provide a preview of who you are dealing with at this office.

So, I called IIS to cancel and stop the automatic premium withdrawal. Mr. ? said he would let Dan Grossi know, but, Dan never called. Back on the phone to speak with Mr. Grossi, who said he requested a "form' from my ins. company, but 2 days had passed, no form. Fast forward 5 days. No cancel form sent to me from Dan Grossi. Then I emailed Mr Grossi with another request. No response. A week passed since my first cancel request. The withdrawal was at my doorstep, so I contacted the above insurance company directly. They stopped the withdrawal and canceled my policy in 10 minutes. The person I spoke to said, "apparently your agent, doesn't know how to do this." I agree. First call was referred to Dan Grossi. Second call, Dan said he was still waiting on this form? Third email contact ignored completely. Fourth call by me yielded a fix in 10 minutes. The above shows incompetence at its finest and customer service at its very worst. VR
