He deserves a five himself... I am very appreciative of him for his diligent work after our complaints. Title One never sent the wire to our mortgage company. We received a late charge in March and stated we had not made a payment when the loan was paid off by TitleOne in Escrow. After calling TitleOne they finally paid the home off one month late. We were made to pay an additional $589.78 in additional interest from our small retirement income. I would not recommend this branch of Title One to anyone.

If you're considering a property managed by Prestige Property Management in Meridian, Idaho, be prepared for a frustrating and costly experience -- especially when it comes to your security deposit. Despite thoroughly following their detailed move-out cleaning checklist, we were still charged for additional cleaning. It's as if they expect tenants to return the property in turn-key condition--ready for immediate move-in by the next tenant--at the tenant's sole expense. No matter how clean or well-maintained the home is, it seems nothing is ever good enough. What's worse, they charged us for carpet cleaning, per the lease, only to then replace the flooring throughout with laminate. It's hard to see this as anything other than using the tenant's deposit to fund property upgrades--not just standard wear and tear repairs. There is a complete lack of transparency. Charges are made without invoices, itemized receipts, or any form of proof, and they tack on fees for everything--from installing a lightbulb to what appears to be partial remodeling. When you try to get answers, good luck: they operate under multiple DBAs, making it difficult to track down a real person or hold anyone accountable. In the end, it feels like Prestige has a system in place where no tenant will ever get their full deposit back, no matter how responsibly they treat the property. It's a disheartening and frankly unethical business practice. I would not rent from them again, and I strongly encourage others to read reviews and do your homework before signing a lease with this company. We got his number from a neighbor friend and literally within 5 minutes of leaving a message from a random stranger he called back with huge enthusiasm and the house hunt began. We nailed down size, budget and asked his opinion on cities and moments later he sent us listing that fit our criteria perfectly. Because traveling was hard because of work he attended open houses and either FaceTimed us or sent videos as well as pictures of the houses and neighborhoods. After 1 weekend visit we decided on a new build and from there he contacted the builder and started the paper work. His ability to go back and forth was amazing and he never left us hanging and answered every question we had no matter how silly. Even months after we closed we had some issues with the builder in which Alex offered to call on our behalf to get thing moving. We still keep in contact and he still offers to help with things if we need it, being a plumber or landscaper. The man is AMAZING! I would recommend him to anyone in or out of state, he will go to bat for you on everything no matter how big or small and communicates in a perfectly timely manner. 10 stars!!
