We were nervous and kept putting the job aside out of fear of something going wrong and knowing we would be spending a large amount of money. We felt at ease with his wealth of knowledge, and especially after visiting jobs completed by Gappsi, we knew we were in good hands. We also were impressed with his level of patience and how he answered every single question we had and never rushed us out of his showroom (he even met us on a Sunday when the showroom was closed). Our planning began with having to remove an existing disaster of an old pool surrounded by patios and fencing in an upper level of the yard; we would be faced with new grading issues and also trying to savage some trees we didn't want to lose. Giuseppe planned every detail meticulously and reassured us the job would be done perfectly. Finally this summer, a year later, we put in a new in-ground pool and surrounding patios. The backyard was designed and transformed into a beautiful setting, and we absolutely love it. It gives us a feeling of being away on vacation! The stone is absolutely beautiful that we picked at the show room, and the workmanship is perfection. The workers showed up every single day, weather permitting, and stayed very late. They all worked very hard. Giuseppe has a lot of patience and any question/problem that would arise would be discussed almost immediately and rectified. I highly recommend Giuseppe's expertise when it comes to masonry and design. We couldn't be any happier with our backyard. We used our pool more this summer than in the past 18 years! Everyone who comes over immediately comments how beautiful the yard looks. If we have any other work to be done, it would be hard to go with anyone else! His visit was quite pleasant, so I felt lucky/confident that I'd get the work done without having to look all over Long Island for a reputable company. Alas never heard back. I left him a message, to which he responded via voice mail saying "I haven't forgotten about you", but again never heard back, even after I phoned him a third time. Called the office about two weeks ago (now August), left a voice mail, and a lady from the office phoned me and said she'll have him call. Still waiting. Time for me to move on.

We were even good enough to honor our original offer. Lauren demanded we be fast and get the home inspected ASAP so we can move to contract. We were excited so we had the home inspection Monday, Tuesday my wife and I signed their papers at our lawyers and signed a 10 percent down payment check. We get the call today that the original buyers offered more and more up front and our offer was no longer accepted. So we run around like chickens without heads so she can use our offer to leverage her original buyer. Lauren even had the nerve to say the lawyer went behind her back and made the deal, complete BS. Please do yourselves a favor and do not do business with these people. They are dishonest scum who lie, lie and lie some more. Make you jump through hoops so they can score a little higher commission and leave your family up sh/ts Updated- we also found out the listing agents husband was the investor company who owned the home. We have seen long time companies gone and them in.. then also gone also for one - very shortly. If a complex is demanding it may not be a match. They lean toward the accounting aspect. They are not boots on the ground. They are offsite and can coordinate sending of documents more than anything, at their reliable but measured pace. They serve a key function where an on site manager often will not be able to keep up with paperwork. That being said.. Any complex should also keep an onsite person for calls during or after 5 pm and not defer to TTPM. Polite and courteous most of the time. They were ok on a closing with documents but took far too long to get things going with calls all needing to be returned. No person picks up. My thoughts are to manage this type of work for so many units - would be to have a receptionist that always picks up and transfers call in CASE of an emergency etc.
