I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

I called about a condo listed with Real Property and the guys there made it their business to make it as easy as possible from the time I called them, through the application process, and dealing with the homeowners association. They continue to be helpful even after we moved in when we had a minor issue with a leaky sink. We can make service requests and pay our rent online and it seems like there's always someone available to help. I think this should be the standard when renting a place. Thanks!

Once evidence was presented, they began ignoring and giving us the run around. As someone who has previously worked in property management for many years this is the worst experience I've ever seen, personally and professionally. I have been cooperative and understanding throughout the entire process. I just want a my car fixed (which was only 5 days old when their gate damaged it), and they consistently dodge accountability or even a basic response to acknowledge my communications.

They do nothing to clean up or make up grades to the community. They hold HOA meetings and the minute they don't like what they hear, they pack their things up and leave the meeting.
