Fast forward, a couple years later, my husband and I discovered we were expecting baby number two. During that time period we decided to hire a suitable nanny for our busy family and schedule. Welp, third time is definitely a charm. Our wonderful nanny/doula, yep! that's right, she was also a doula. Our nanny was/is perfect ! The day of giving birth, my doula was constantly supportive, persistent and such a caring soul. Everything was perfect from rubbing my back, playing soft music and even playing the song "Push It" by Salt & Pepa lol. She allowed me to have my own opinions, seek the birth I desired and be an active participant in my care. I will never forget the beautiful ambience in that room prior, during and after giving birth to our beautiful daughter. Our nanny/doula has made an incredible impact for a lifetime. Loving, caring and checking on me and my family every chance she get. I am so grateful and fortunate that my family is blessed with such an amazing person who is now like family. Thank you Nanny Poppinz Bee Andre

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I would give zero stars if possible! This agency is completely…read moreunprofessional. I was in a bind for someone to watch my young son and thought going with a service would be safest...ends up I should have saved my energy! From the beginning I had my doubts. I initially emailed them after finding them online. Emails were answered quickly, but did not address me directly, they were simply answered in a few words or a sentence, unprofessional in my opinion....and this was from the President/Founder (Deneane Maldonado) in Florida. Yes, Florida! I wrongly assumed that a local person would be handling this, someone who hired and knew the nannies I might hire. After two days of correspondence (emails and phone calls) with Deneane working with me on a nanny placement, she mentioned, "Oh, by the way, I would not normally be the one handling your process". She told me her local placement woman (DeeDee) had just given birth, and so was on a short leave. Understood, it was just oddly presented. Then Deedee did contact me and was "back on the job" within a week. Wow! A week maternity leave! For the local placement director of a nanny agency?! Very interesting! Long story short, I interviewed 4 different women. They all had experience but I was not overly impressed with anyone. Because I really needed help, I went against my better judgement and decided to work with one of the women, Julia. We did a trial afternoon (which she was late arriving for) so she could get to know my son, and then set the schedule she would be working for us...weekends for the next 14 weeks. On Friday, FIVE HOURS before she was to be at my house, she TEXTED ME, to say she could not take the job. WHAT?! I could not believe this was happening and talked to her on the phone asking for an explanation. She said her current employer told her she would need to stay later and that overlapped with our hours. Since she thought it was better for me if I had the same person all weekend, and because her current employer was her first priority, she was canceling. I was livid! Canceling HOURS before a job, by TEXT?! Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe this kind of behavior. I understand she had a prior commitment, but the change happened after she was committed to us. I would think that a current employer, or the service would insist that a job that was to start in hours, be seen through. DeeDee called an hour later to say she just got the message from her nanny, Julia and could she try to send someone else. While I appreciated her gesture, I was obviously NOT going to trust this service to send me someone else. Besides the fact that I was unimpressed with the other candidates, there was no way I was going to take a chance that this agency would take care of us in a way that I expect. Needless to say I will NEVER use this service and will be sharing this experience with every mom I know in SA!

The place itself was very cute and it seemed very fun for children. They had a pretty cool facility with a nice playground area and the classrooms looked fun and clean. The programs they had seemed really good and it was surprising to me that they even had daycare for infants. The pricing also seemed fair which they had several options. The only thing that was displeasing was some of the staffs appearances was off. I understand not everyone can dress the part but there was staff that looked like they just rolled out of bed, one guy in a classroom who was the obvious teacher/staff was sitting there rolling and twiddling his hair with the children just looking for his attention. I also noticed a lady who instructed the dance portion of the day had grabbed a little girl by her arm and displayed somewhat of aggression and frustration. Look I get it it's hard watching kids and many at that but it just didn't sit right with me. I don't doubt this place is great I was just turned off and couldn't see myself being secure in dropping my 1 year old here.
