Levi took too much off the sides and messed up my son's hairline. I gently reminded Levi that he might want to pick out my son's hair to get an accurate view of the length and to ensure the cut was even. Meanwhile I'm trying to make the situation a positive one and be kind. Levi picked out the sides of my son's head but not the top. He then used a spray to color in the hairline. Levi then offered to pick out the rest of my son's hair and my son told him he didn't want that. Mainly because he was ready to get out of the shop. This hair cut took 1.5 hours to complete and he kept trying to take more off the back. My son was visibly upset and embarrassed about his hair. He's been growing it out for months and was upset that he'd have to start over again. After the hair cut I paid Levi and left a tip because I felt bad for the him. Not because I thought he did a good job. He even apologized. I gave him some gentle feedback about picking out the hair first and maybe having a sponge to curl up the hair after. My son left a review on Booksy with a picture of what he wanted versus what he got. No words other than that. Levi took it upon himself to mock my son for crying. I responded and gave Levi some further feedback. All of which was respectful. Then Levi texted me the following. (See screen shots below). I never level negative reviews because it's not worth my time, but Levi decided to text me and call my son a punk and then began to insult me. All-in-all, I would say you're going to get a bad cut and some attitude for calling it out. Go at your own risk.

I found these guys on Yelp yesterday and gave them a call. They were all booked up but they do walk-ins at certain times of the day. They told me to be there at 6:00 so I showed up. Mind you, I'm very picky about my hair but I was truly impressed by the job Ari done!! I literally showed her a picture and her response was "do you want it to look just like that?" I said yes expecting it to be something close to the picture. That wasn't the case. When Ari was done my haircut looked EXACTLY like the picture I showed her!!! If you're in a rush or just want a quick buzz I don't think this is the place for you. Not only did Ari take her time and make sure I had the EXACT haircut I asked for but I noticed the other barbers were the same way!! I don't know the name of the gentleman that cut my hair...he wasn't very talkative, but he had the station in the back on the left. Maybe I'm weird, but getting a haircut in a barbershop should take 10 minutes, tops. I was in that chair over 30 minutes. I have sh!t to do, people to see, places to go...I don't want a "style" or a salon job, I just want to make my hair shorter than it is. Is that too much to ask? The owner herself did my hair, and right from the start, it was unprofessional. She didn't even put the drape on me--she told me to do it myself. When I specifically told her that I don't like toner and didn't want it, she pushed it on me anyway. Against my better judgment, I ended up letting her do the toner, and it completely ruined the color I had in mind. Instead of the bright blonde I asked for, the toner made my hair look dull, flat, and ashy. It destroyed the existing blonde I had before and left me feeling so disappointed. When I expressed my concerns, she did not care at all. She didn't offer to fix it, add highlights, or do anything to make it right. Her attitude was dismissive, her energy was bad, and the entire experience felt unprofessional. I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and with hair I absolutely hate. The worst mistake I have made in years was trusting the barber who cut my hair. Instead of waiting on another barber that was highly recommend to me I read the reviews and figured I would give it a try even thou they were old reviews as a business owner Bob seemed very good at what he does. I called but Bob wasn't there. A lady told me to come in. I was thinking it must be his wife since she said they both have been cutting hair for over 30 years and it was a very small shop.. So I drove a hour to get there after spending hours looking online and calling around to see who was available. I arrived there and was greeted by the lady I spoke with. I sat down then was told for my next service to call her directly not the shop as she handed me a business card. Weird... but I said ok. I went over what I wanted since I've had the same stylist for 7 years in texas and was only in Florida for a month but I get my cut every week so it was time. She insured me that she knew what she was doing because she also teaches students how to cut hair. I honestly thought I was in good hands. I keep having to ask her to go back over areas and pointing out the lines she didnt fade correctly. I told her I wanted my bangs to be longer because I style them up with fiber and blow dry them to the side. I left with lines still in my hair and my bangs are completely gone. I look like a 14 year old kid. I'm 32! So you can imagine how mad I was. I went to the bathroom and washed all the hair off me because she used a kids Cape and I had hair on my shorts, all down my back and all over my face. I then noticed how bad my hair was because she keep me turned away from the mirror. So I tried washing it to see if it made a difference while dropping the F bomb because I was so upset. I then went outside and asked her to fix the lines and she got upset. So I said enough still seeing that she didn't fix the areas I asked but instead cut off more hair on top causing it to look stupid. I simply asked in detail with my fingers showing what area and what tools to use to do it correctly. She didn't do the areas I asked and used scissors instead of the comb and blade. Overall all I can say is stay away! I was charged $18 for my hair cut and $7 for my bread which wasn't even straight. That is why I asked for my bread to be trimmed because it's hard doing with a razor. I had already trimmed my bread that morning with my buzzer to match the length of my hair cut once I get it so I didn't look lazy. The sign says $13 dollars and I was told it would be $13 but was charged way more. Keep in mind my hair is cut with a zero then 1 then two and top is trimmed lightly with scissors and then textured. A very simple cut for a stylist so it should be nothing for a baber who has more hours of training. My stylist only has 12 years experience and has never left my hair the way it is now. I look and feel stupid. I work with high end clients daily and need to appear professional not like some kid who went to a $5 hair cut at walmart. Sadly it's done and now I need to find someone who can fix it.
