Please Read, this is a review of Adrian a "grandmaster barber" and my recommendation for the best barber; Gavin, pa supposed "3 star barber"⁉⁉ I've had better experiences getting a haircut from a chainsaw than Adrian. I don't even know where to start. First off, he is absolutely TERRIBLE at cutting hair. I showed him a simple reference photo, and what I got was a hack job that looked like someone let a toddler loose with a pair of clippers. Uneven, crooked, and completely unrecognizable -- I genuinely thought he was practicing on me. But it doesn't end there. This guy has zero respect for his clients, his employees, or basic human decency. Halfway through the haircut, he just left. Gone. Left me sitting there with half a haircut, looking like I'd been through a tornado. No explanation, no apology, just disappeared for what felt like forever. When he finally came back, he acted like I was the one inconveniencing him, muttering some nonsense about "taking care of business" (which I'm sure was code for whatever shady activity he was up to). On top of that, he's completely impersonal and rude. No greeting, no conversation -- just a cold, uninterested, dead-eyed stare while he butchered my hair. I'm not expecting a therapy session, but at least a basic level of courtesy wouldn't kill you. I also witnessed him treat his employees like absolute garbage. It's clear they hate being there. He talks to them like they're beneath him, belittling them in front of customers. It's honestly uncomfortable to watch. Long story short, do yourself a favor: don't go to Adrian, I recently switched to Gavin and had my expectations absolutely blown away, the blurriness in his fades makes me feel like I just walked out of Antarctica, he deserves 5 stars and gets my full voucher. i arrived for my first ever cut at the Kirkland store 5 minutes early, no host, some other barber asked if I had an appointment, I said yes and he just shouted to my guy that "it's your next appointment" . Came over, my new barber asked me what haircut I wanted without turning my chair towards the mirror. I was explaining it and looked over my shoulder to see he was looking at his phone. Not paying attention to my haircut wishes. He then prepared me with the cape. I noticed the area still Had others' hair on the floor. Then the same guy who called out to my barber said "your other appointment is here." Another customer walked up. I was just about to get my haircut, starting 5 minutes before scheduled time and my barber says "actually I'm a little behind today and this guy is before you so you gotta wait like half an hour." I walked out feeling totally disregarded. not worth the $35 I was to pay starting with not rotating me to the mirror when asking me what kind of haircut I wanted instead staring at his phone, a young 20's kid who doesn't sweep up past cut hair. He asked for a little to be taken off the top and his sides faded. He went from having 3" of height to about, maybe a half inch. I use to go to Canada from Kirkland to get my fade done. I'm VERy particular on who cuts my hair bc I believe the way your hair is done and left is important and it represents you, it's an art. I got recommended here a month ago and ever since I come here every two weeks. Everyone here is good at fades. Blade is very good at his job and takes it seriously as well. I wish I could have tipped him more money like I have to the previous barbers who cut my hair here but I didn't bring much cash. He would have his 10:00 client waiting for the 9:30 to be done. Then I would wait until 11 so he can finish his 10:00 client, and so on. Always a client behind. I made an appointment for a few days in advance, then show up and he's nowhere to be found. I wait for 15 minutes, call and text, nothing. Then ask someone and find out he's out for the week and won't be back for another 5 days. Didn't block out his booking, didn't call/text, nothing. The man who cut my hair had AirPods in. Didn't fully hear me when I said "low fade, not too high". He gave me a high fade and was a tad aggressive about it lol.
