Decided to give this frite and burger place a try after dinner. It wasn't one of the touristy places but attracted an even mix of locals and visitors that night.
The place consisted of a window where everything took place and about half a dozen tables in front with umbrellas that mostly protected diners from the rain that night. It was nice that there wasn't a huge queue in front but they garnered a steady flow.
I appreciated the welcome by the staff and the follow up asking if I had any questions while I stood on the side.
My focus was finally trying some Belgian fries. I grabbed a seat right next to the window as I waited for my order. Staff called my name and reached out to pass over the tray.
The fries came packed in paperboard and portioned a lot more than I could finish by myself. I liked the thick cut, crisp and golden on the outside but soft and tender inside. They also were lightly salted and went well with the spicy sauce I picked for dipping.
After finishing, I just handed my tray back through the window.
Overall hit the spot for me. read more
