Chris is AMAZING!!! I came upon him by accident many years ago while he was working as a stylist in a salon and I was using the owner/stylist. After observing his work it was clear to me that I just Had to use him. I could see the talent he had with both color and cut. And I had been searching at that point down here for almost 20 years, after going from one top salon/stylist to another. So many I'd lost count. I was blown away at the difference from the first time Chris cut and colored my hair, because his incredible talent is in equal measure with both color and cut. I've been thrilled with his work for a dozen or so years now. The salon also has a relaxed vibe. But frankly I'd drive or go anywhere for him to color and cut my hair lol. Chris uses natural Davines color products, which is all I can/will use because they're the only line that does not burn my very sensitive scalp. I never write negative reviews, but here I have to. I was scammed and mistreated by Chris David himself! I came to Chris few months ago due when my regular stylist closed her salon due to the COVID-19 quarantine. I usually get full highlights and wear tape hair extensions. I use two colors, 24 which is platinum and DB2 which is a darker shade of blonde. This is how I achieve a dimensional color. Chris attempted to sell me one set of platinum extensions that he had at his salon. I politely refused as at that point I had just purchased two new packs of my own extensions. He did a good job on the hair color and extensions installation. However, in the very beginning I specifically stated that I didn't want a haircut, but Chris still did it (took an inch off in the back) and charged me $90 for it. I decided not to say anything and just paid the full bill of $575. I came back for my next appointment on May 13th, 2020. Immediately, Chris started trying to sell me that same pack of extensions from before. I said no. Then Chris said that it would be more expensive for me to have him re-tape and install my own extensions than for me to buy a pack of his as he doesn't charge for the installation of his extensions. I normally get a very high quality Russian hair and Chris reassured me that his hair is also from Russia and is even better quality. I said okay. Then to save time (he had to run few errands after my appointment), Chris said that I would look much better with a single process color rather than highlights. Plus, now that I will have all platinum color extensions, it would make sense to do a single process. Once again, I trusted him. He knew that my hair was damaged, that's the reason I was getting highlights all this time! He put bleach not only on the new growth, but all over my already damaged hair! When all was done, the hair felt okay and looked good. This time I paid Chris $700. All was good until the first hair wash. Whatever the hair Chris sold me was coated with, it all came off. I ended up with extremely dry, frizzy hair that a flatiron at 350F couldn't straighten. I texted Chris and send pictures, and his response was, "This doesn't make any sense, everyone else loves this hair." I asked for the $400 back. This is how much he charged for one set of his extensions. His response was, "If I take the extensions back, I will not be able to reuse them and will have to throw them away." I asked for him to allow me to come to the salon so he would see for himself how horribly I look, but at that point he stopped communicating with me all together. I called, I sent several text messages, I even offered for the sake of our relationship to come to some sort of compromise. No response whatsoever! He didn't want to see that hair because he knew from the very beginning he was selling me garbage! I am attaching 5 pictures for everyone to see. I feel cheated and scammed by Chris, but what upsets me the most, is the way he is treating me. I never expected something like that from any stylist, especially him. In addition, it has been only 3 weeks, but one of his tapes has already started to separate and coming off the hair. Very sad. read more

Chris is a true color artist. He took me from an auburn to a beautiful blond, which is really hard to do! I moved away from Delray for a year and really missed him.
