I chose this place because of the Yelp reviews. I took a gamble and booked two appointments. The exterior is not appealing, but inside it's clean and the staff were friendly. It's the best place I've been to in Florida for hair color. The prices are high! For my first appointment, I went in for root touch up, to lighten the face frame (Scandi Hairline), and toner or gloss. I ended up also getting full-head balayage and trim. The staff they have washing the hair do a great job - they have comfortable sink set ups and they give you a nice head massage. Kemal wouldn't do a Scandi, but applied lots of balayage highlights to the frame of my face. I've gotten numerous compliments on the color by Kemal and have already booked my next appointment! My second appointment was for a blowout. The technician did a nice job; however, he said it would last until the next morning, but it only lasted a few hours before the wave seemed to melt away. I think the hairspray used was too gentle for my hair. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I've waited almost 2 years to post this review because I don't ever want to bash a small business especially when it is minority owned. But here goes-- I went for a hair cut and blow dry. They called me to let me know the stylist I booked was no longer available and asked if it was okay with me to go with another stylist. I said it was fine as long as the stylist they put me with is someone who specializes with very long hair. They put me with the female stylist (Rebecca) and she didn't listen to anything I said during my short consultation. I'm pretty easy going because I know hair grows back but she chopped off around 8"+ dry before I got washed. She then told the person washing my hair to put on a special mask and it smelled like chemicals. I've never had relaxer done but when I explained it to my friends they said that it sounds like they put relaxer in my hair. She cut my hair and gave me a horrible blow out because she said she would curl it after. I didn't want my hair curled, I wanted a blow out. She barely dried my scalp so my scalp was itchy the next day. I walked in with hip length hair and walked out with a half assed blow out, barely dried scalp and hair above my bra band. When I washed my hair the following day all I could smell was a chemical smell and it took a few washes to get it out. It's now been 1.5 years and my hair doesn't grow the same since that cut and "hair mask" treatment she told the person washing my hair to put on me. I would not recommend going to her. I'm sure the rest of the staff is great which is why I booked there in the first place. read more

I was in need of a change...the hair blanket on my head was out of control. Ken came highly recommended by a coworker and he did not disappoint. Booking online was super easy and despite being popular I didn't have to look too far into the future to find an appointment that worked with my schedule. Ken listened to what my goals were and executed an amazing cut in a short amount of time which was appreciated as I was there on a lunch break! I found his prices comparable to other locations in the area, and actually probably a bargain considering his experience and skill. He's also super fun to chat and that made the overall experience enjoyable.
