It was very clear that Lexi was extremely experienced and knowledgeable about styling hair. My updo was not only very secure and balanced, but I had NO pain, poking, itchiness, tightness, or soreness. That is a MIRACLE!! I have a very sensitive scalp and often get bumps and cuts. Getting my hair styled can be a painful ordeal. Lexi was extremely gentle and the updo was easy to take out on my own at the end of the night. Lexi saw my vision and made it happen. I was hoping to have a disastrous color experience corrected but instead of what I asked for and was told they could do with no problem my hair which was blond initially ended up a dark brown to cover up thin highlights which I did not want. All this at the outrageous cost of 375.00. and was done by a color specialist. I do not recommend this salon to anyone for color. read more

Love love love this salon! This was my first time and I will definitely be back. I was in dire need of a haircut for the upcoming weekend festivities I had planned. Luckily, Bond Street is open later than most salons in the area on Thursdays and I was able to book an appointment for Friday (the next day)! I am usually extremely picking with salons and stylists but I read the reviews so I put my trust in this place. When I walked in, I met with the amazing stylist Jacquie. We immediately clicked! She knew EXACTLY what I was asking for. She even showed me previous clients on her portfolio page as examples of similar haircuts. Jacquie went above and beyond. Many stylists at high-end salons that I've been to don't even compare to the comfortable, fun, and personalized experience Jacquie showed me. She gave me some styling tips for my bangs, which I'm really excited to try out! I highly recommend getting your hair cut by Jacquie! In total for my beautiful blow out and haircut the cost was 90 dollars. It is worth every penny. The salon offers free bang trims which is really nice because my bangs grow back quite fast. The receptionist is always friendly and welcoming and the service is just amazing. I see Lauren for color and her attention to detail in her services are unreal! I am so picky with my color and she nails it every time. I see Bianca for my hair cuts and blow outs and always leave feeling like a million bucks! She takes her time but also is quick and efficient. I am so disappointed with this salon. I was supposed to come in to get my hair done by an assistant, Joe. He had texted me and I made arrangements for myself and my daughter. Great. So my daughter went in and had her keratin. All went well. However, then it was my time to come in and Joe cancelled. He said someone needed the space. But that I would have many other dates to choose from. No problem. I understood. Well, that text never came. I tried texting him very nicely and he never responded. I eventually called the salon and asked for their help. They replied that they have no control over the assistants and basically said that's that. They said they would pass my message on to Joseph. Well, guess what. Joseph never called me or texted me. The salon made it very clear to me that they couldn't care how their salon's name looked out to the public. So so negative. I don't know why someone would do this to a customer. Such a wrong way to handle business. If he didn't want to do my hair (He never met me), he should've said he didn't have time. read more

I've been visiting for approximately 3 or 4 years and have experienced some great haircuts and color as well. Alexander is great! Dana as well for haircut. Bond street salon is not treating their customers professionally. They called me twice an hour before my appointment and canceled. Even after that I decided to give them another chance.. but at the end of my appointment they charged me $30 more than usually. New rates.. supposedly. Without even letting me know before my appointment. That was $30 more within 2/3 months. I understand raising rates through time but not that much.. that is a price gouging. I won't be back. Deep conditioning treatments tailored on an individual basis from our Oribe/Under The Sun products are offered to nourish and protect the hair from environmental factors and color processes. Also male clients receive complimentary weekly clean-ups and bang trims for the ladies. This is the only salon I've ever worked at, I am a Front Desk Coordinator, but I've never heard of any other salons putting their clients needs before their wallets. This always sounds silly when I say it because I've had so many jobs in my life but working here is the best job I've ever had. There is a collective sense of freedom of expression, creativity and friendship. I can truly say with confidence that there is so much talent within these walls, all stylists have mastered their art. Everybody behind the chair was chosen and picked through with a fine tooth comb to represent only the best of industry standards and it really shows. I'm went into this salon to get a gloss/toner to get the orange out of a new color job done at another salon. McKayla was very sweet and did an excellent job. I called back for her and she was out on maternity leave. I was placed with Rachel for highlights. If it looked like the picture they posted of Rachel's work, I wouldn't be on Yelp right now. It looked like what we talked about when I pulled it back in a ponytail, but it looked like it did when I walked in the door on top. I also paid for a gloss. Lauren returned my call. She was very sweet. I don't even remember the name of the girl she set me up with for correction. She was rude from the every start. I never got one sentence out without being shushed. She's been doing hair 20 years and she knows what to do. Not so much. Now, my hair is orange underneath and not what I wanted on top. She preferred to argue with me and then called herself good listener. Not so much. I had not processed my hair in a very long time and had been wearing it in conditioned bun. After their double process, they did not even put one drop of ANY conditioner in my hair, much less a deep condition, as promised after the double processing. Gloss, what gloss? The people who worked on my hair were more interested in talking to each other and we're completely disengaged with me. Ive never experienced that in any salon. I had high expectations at $200 for color only. My hair has 2 giant blonde streaks on the left and barely anything on the right and is orange underneath, after a double processing. I will not even walk by this salon, much less return. What a horrible experience. Update: A full refund would have included the $25 tip paid before I saw my hair in the sunlight. A full refund doesn't repair my twice processed hair. A full refund doesn't enable me to go somewhere else to get this mess fixed, because I'm not going to process it 3 times in one week. A full refund doesn't change the disrespect and rudeness going on in your salon. If you're not satisfied with our work, we will treat you like crap when you are invited back for a "correction". A full refund doesn't get McKayla's client back. No, your refund did not rectify the plethora of problems I experienced at your salon, nor does it rectify my hair, which is back in a conditioned orange bun. It will stay that way until it repairs enough to find a professional hairdresser who knows the difference between blended, piecy and chunky highlights, and who doesn't cut you off every time you open your mouth. It was still a really horrible experience and I would hand you $500 if you could just put the hair I had back on my head before I walked into your salon. read more

I have been going to bond religiously now and it is the best salon I have ever been to for many different reasons. For starters there's the obvious - the staff is so talented at what they do. My hair always comes out exactly how I want it to. as you can see from the photos attached I have naturally black hair, and Marissa being the very talented colorist that she is ALWAYS gets my hair the perfect shade that I want. Not only is the staff professional, but they are all a really great time as well. Marissa and the staff make me feel super comfortable every single time i'm there, they always offer a beverage and they always have great conversation. you can for sure sense the team work between the staff when at Bond and they make you feel very welcomed. Also the atmosphere itself is really modern and chic, and always spotless which is a must for a salon in my opinion. Another thing i really like about everyone in the salon is everyone is very honest, so if they feel you should do something with your hair they always put in their input, and them being the pro I always listen. I wished I remembered the name of the girl who turned my hair orange. I called for a correction and got an appointment. My hair was essentially darkened throughout to cover the orange, so it ended flat and much darker than what I started with, no balayage. Aaaaand I was then ceremoniously charged $300 for the correction. I'm not saying this place is a scam, I'm sure it was a one-time thing. But I'm definitely not a fan. read more

Not a day goes by that random pedestrians stop and ask me where I get my hair done because the dimension is amazing. No joke. This salon is a scam!!! Marissa is nothing but a bad business owner with some sort of gripe against women. My wife came here and was basically tricked into spending 3 times what she planned on spending. They did not talk pricing beforehand and hit her with a bill of over $300 for hair treatment. I have hairdressers in the family and know what a typical treatment costs. We went back for the same treatment and walked out and didn't pay I'll never go back and I'll tell everyone what a scam pile this place is. It makes me sick to even think about her face or the salon.
