The stylist was rude and berated me in front of everyone. She made me feel like dirt on the floor…read more She met me at the door with the bowl of hair color and throwing the gown at me while I still had my drink and purse in my hand. She wouldn't even allow me to put anything down and was trying to put the gown on me while I was holding everything. I was late due to the train blocking me from being able to arrive on time. Traffic was backed up for 1/4 mile. When I arrived there was no parking space and I had to wait for one. She spoke to me like a child telling me that I need to leave my house earlier. News flash-I can't undo what has already been done. She continued to berate me as I sat in the chair and at that point I told her that was enough and I was not going to listen to any more of her rude talk. I was almost in tears and couldn't see myself sitting there, being belittled and spoken to in an aggressive, rude manner. I left and will not be back. If you don't like me being late due to unforeseen circumstances, I don't need to frequent your business. However, you have no right to speak like that to me loudly in front of all of your customers and staff. That was very unprofessional and rude, not that I am surprised after reading other reviews on your salon.

She's always so friendly, and up to gab, or if I just want to read my book and relax that way, she's cool with that, too. My hair always looks fresh when I leave, and I feel that I could trust her no matter what I wanted to do. (Granted, my job doesn't let me have fun hair, but if it did, I know she could deliver!) Secondly, the location. They're on a quieter block of Maple, so there's always parking, and it's close to home. If I want to walk, they're right there, and if it the weather isn't great, it's easy to street park. Finally, the reasonable pricing. Lots of local salons really like to upcharge left and right for their services. I'd rather spend that money on more tip for my awesome stylist. Such a great place!

She was very nice to chat with and had positive energy. A true professional, got right down to business and was very fast. My parts are all equal length apart. The cornrows are flat and smooth. She is light handed and gentle with the sectioning and comb through. I'm so glad I dropped in. I have found a place for braids.
