Top Notch Agent and a very qualified staff. Whenever I have any questions or needs, Jay Hwang or…read morehis staff is more than helpful and always makes me feel like I made the right decision in working with them. The office is convenient to go to and P.S. the remodel looks great!

was a loyal client of Jay's office for years and trusted their judgment and professionalism…read more Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. A change to my policy made by Jay's office was submitted, indicating that I was married when I was not. At no point was I contacted beforehand to discuss this decision or its implications. The consequences were significant and extremely costly. What troubled me most was the lack of accountability afterward. I never received a call from Jay to discuss what happened, acknowledge the issue, or apologize. My final interactions with the office were dismissive and unprofessional. Mistakes happen. Accountability matters. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. Update 6/18/26 As far as "the information given when the policy change was requested".. I never requested to have my marital status changed. My partner moved in and I took over payment of her vehicle insurance. That was when someone, unilaterally, made the decision to change my status to married. There was never a conversation. Furthermore, your comment insinuates that I said otherwise and am not telling the truth. To be clear, I am no longer your client, you are welcome to use that clause to hide behind, which is the exact reason I left. Accountability seems to have been lost in your business plan. One more fact I would like to mention, if I did in-fact, give you information that would have supported a change in my status, why didn't it come up when you were under oath? That seems like the appropriate time to share such prudent documentation??? When the judge asked you, your response was nothing remotely close to what you said in your response to my review. Maybe it would help to read what the judges response was? Just help jog the old memory .... " The Court heard directly from the State Farm agent in Durango to the extent and saw documentation to the extent that State Farm, when Mr. Glover asked to combine their policies -- or to combine Ms. Banks' automobile with his coverage, that one of the few choices available to them was married, although there was a single box blank that could have been checked. There is no evidence before this Court that Mr. Glover indicated, when attempting to combine policies, that the parties were, in fact, married and that it should be a married policy; rather, it appears to be something that was done at State Farm and in their office. Well, it's unfortunate to see the continued lack of ownership and that the response given was deemed appropriate.

I've been with this company for years! Never had a problem until this year. I receive a monthly…read moretext message with the amount I owe every month. I usually text back (Charlene) with which card or bank account to use for paying that amount. Ihave text messages to prove this. They NEVER accept partial payments. I always pay what I'm told. I pay a little over $600 per month. This month, during the holidays, I get hit with a $950 bill out of no where. Naturally I call to find out why. I was told I made a partial payment back in July (even though they don't take partial payments) and the balance had been rolling over every month. I asked why wasn't I told this back then or in the past 6 months that I've been paying my bill. They said they have no control over billing. Apparently, this is the billing departments fault. Not once was I told there was an additional balance for 6 whole months!!! They basically said it's not their problem. So I had to come up with $940 during the holidays and right after I lost my sister. They took no accountability for this mistake. I was only told they don't have control over billing. It makes no sense. Even Charlene said it wasn't right but she couldn't so anything to help with the mistake they made. I'm now looking for other insurance. Buyer beware!! They'll mess up your bill and throw their hands in the air. Charlene was nice in apologizing but it didn't help me at all.

This agency is crooked and should not be in business. We had State Farm homeowner insurance for…read moreyears until our agent died and our policy was switched to this agent. The first thing she did was increase our premium $800. Then she sent an incompetent "inspector" to take pictures of our property because we are supposedly in a restricted area. This "inspector" didn't even get out of her car to take pictures from the road, then stated that our roof needed to be replaced. Our home is 20 years old and in excellent condition, and the property is beautifully manicured. The roof has 40 year architectural grade shingles in excellent shape, with at least another 20 years of service left. We tried to get this agent to come see our home in person and she wouldn't even drive over to take a look, saying "it's up to the underwriters". We talked with our neighbors and other insurance carriers and found out State Farm is looking for any excuse to drop home policies in Colorado because of supposed "high claims". Fortunately, we got bundled insurance (home and 2 autos) from a better A+ rated company for a much lower premium. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They won't even refund the money they took out of our checking account.
