Worst experience imaginable. The Managing Partner (who apparently falsely claimed to have been…read morerecruited away from Killian Richter by Joseph Ramos himself to open a GJ office as managing partner) is Nick Mayle. The Denver office recruited me heavily upon seeing five gruesome and serious wounds from a pack of 3 pit bull mix dogs resulting in massive pain and 83 stitches - seeing all the $$$ associated with a big insurance claim. He even made a statement about the other attorney I was interested in using wanting to come to his Ramos office, making it seem like it would eventually be a twofer at his firm (but, by the way, keep that information confidential) and that that attorney would be leaving that other firm, ostensibly leaving me in the lurch were I to choose them. Pretty shady and sneaky. It turned out that trying to find insurance didn't suit the man who drives two luxury vehicles around town with the famous EKG squiggles: a high dollar Jeep contraption and a low riding fancy convertible --- all show, no substance. The property owner was never sent photos of the injuries so she had no idea of the seriousness of the request to provide insurance information. On top of that, he is both rude and arrogant and without a heart (never asking how I was) and the contract itself presented was off by 20 years on my birth date. From the start, that should have been the first clue that a pitch perfect competence and diligence were non existent. Once the contract was signed, the research was slow and incomplete, neither good news when the supposed managing partner offered to take the case personally. From day one, I supplied a good handful of researched helpful tips to get the ball rolling having admitted at the outset that I am intense/adhd and was 100% successful in achieving the full claim of a car wreck directly from the insurance company 8 years prior. I was far more thorough (not necessarily a plus for a law office with from a client, admittedly) - and the one factor that he instigated with key, critical information that I could provide from his work product to aid in the criminal prosecution he wrote in a s[poradic] email (none of which had answers to questions I posed) was withheld with this quote: I won't bother you with the details. It was many weeks later when he resigned from the case after I left a message asking if he really cared about me personally as a client (which they advertise heavily) which ostensibly gave him the trivial but perfect excuse to withdraw. Good riddance, as they say: he never had any suggestions for the medical side of all my injuries (which is the sole reason I contracted with them because Joseph Ramos is a brilliant marketing guy claiming medical and legal advice all rolled into one and medical advice was non existent in my case.) I had to figure out everything on my own with no interest on the part of the firm to be proactive and actually give counsel. False advertising for the one thing which seems to draw clients as their biggest selling factor in procuring clients. Rumor has it that Mr. Ramos doesn't practice medicine or law - but achieved a lot from a third career in marketing. I have had the opportunity twice already to steer someone to a law firm. I have firmly steered both parties away from Ramos Law GJ. He does employ a kind law student who offered to verify something he transcribed for the criminal court case: Instead, when Nick Mayle got wind of that, he falsely accused me of requesting the help that was voluntarily offered and I got a nasty cease and desist letter from Mayle demanding that I never contact that person (again, to whom no request was made) or his firm again. Pathetic and clearly only in law for the vast amount of money he clearly settles for with insurance companies. Personal Injury law is important - but he is the perfect example and the dictionary model of why PI lawyers have a negative reputation for ambulance chasing.
