I am writing this to warn other customers to audit their receipts and inspect their repairs at Chris Nikel. I waited 7 months for a parking brake repair on my 2019 Challenger Scat Pack. When I finally brought it in: Financial "Error": I had a receipt proving I paid a $304.92 deposit. Their service advisor insisted I only paid $281 and calculated my final bill based on that lower number. I had to audit my own records to prove they were under-crediting my money. They effectively "lost" my funds and tried to charge me the difference. Wrong/Unsafe Part: I authorized a salvage replacement for an OEM part. Instead, they installed a completely different mechanism (Push-to-Release vs. Handle-Release). On a manual transmission car, this forces you to put the car in neutral/disengage the clutch to set the brake, which is a safety and drivability downgrade compared to the stock handle. I provided proof of the accounting error and the improper part to the Service Director and the GM. I requested a refund for the failed transaction. They chose to ignore the evidence. Do not trust their bookkeeping, and do not trust them to verify the parts they are installing. read more

Crooks and thieves. Even ignored a BBB complaint. Next step lodging a complaint with the state AG. Do not purchase anything from these crooks. Their finance department is beyond shady. Been trying for MONTHS to get my MOPAR warranty refunded to me since I sold the previous vehicle. Taffy even printed up everything saying all the business office had to do was run some numbers and I'd get my refund. That was 3 months ago. Not a peep. No returned calls. Nothing but crooks. A shame Stephen left, he at least had integrity. Taffy will lie to your face and then never return your messages. Just know that if you trade your vehicle in, they won't pay you the money they owe you for add-ons. Tried being patient and understanding. But they absolutely dont deserve your business. Had an appointment for an oil change at 8am. Service employee said it would be an hour for the change. 9:14am he returns to say it will be about 30 to 45 more minutes. His words "we had stacked more vehicles to service and yours will be serviced shortly." Umm..why did you "stick" more vehicles on top of my vehicle hence pushing my vehicle lower to get serviced of if I had an appointment at 8am? How do I get placed on the stacked list to place my vehicle above other vehicles? I requested to speak with the manager due to needing clarity and to get on this magical list of vehicles where no appointment is needed. He didn't show but instead told the rep that "due to the inconvenience my oil change will be free." This doesn't change the fact that while I was here on time other vehicles were stacked on top of mine!!! Cars aren't Pringles. The manager didn't show until vehicle was finished. He listened while I voiced my complaint. He apologize and said "we dropped the ball on this one." I do appreciate the understanding. I Called to get a price on a piece of glass they quote me 426$ and tell me they can have it the same day if I pay for it upfront so I do. I called 5 times that afternoon to see if it was there no one would give me an answer didn't pro tracking just told me ups wasn't there yet. So I drive there and ask them about it it's not there and the dealer they supposedly bought it from shows unavailable. But no one would tell me that over the phone. i asked them for a list of dealers around that have it they give it to me and they give me a price list also. Turns out their cost on this glass is 203$ they charged me 426$ plus tax. A dealer by OKC has one I buy it for 263$. This parts department is a joke and 1 star is being generous read more

This review is for Dillion in the service department. I had wheel locks on my Chrysler and we lost the key, of course my car got a flat tire. I had it towed to a local tire shop in Bixby because they were confident they'd be able to get them off. Well they weren't able to get them off. I spoke with Dillion and he told me he'd be in the Bixby area the next day (the day before Christmas Eve) and could bring the master key set to hopefully find a match to get them off. Dillion showed up the next day right on time and was able to get them off! I am very impressed at this amount of customer service where Dillion went out of his way to help a complete stranger. He saved me the hassle of having to call another tow truck to have it towed to the dealership and having to pay another unexpected bill right before the holidays. read more

Took my Jeep Trailhawk in for routine scheduled maintenance and brakes. My service advisor, Phillip Richmond, was great. He listened carefully to what I requested and after they looked at the car he informed me of the findings. Brakes were 30% front and 50% rear. I had only the front done. I appreciated his honest recommendation. He was very courteous and offered to have the car washed but because I had a folded down kayak rack on the roof we decided against the wash to prevent possible damage to the wash equipment. I did not have to wait the almost 7 hours in the waiting room because they brought me home and picked me back up. I have never had that option before at any dealership. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! They have nearly 100 cars in that back parking lot waiting to be serviced because they can't figure out what's going on with vehicles for months at a time. I've had the same issue for the past 4 1/2 months and I have been in a rental car for almost 3 months out of that time. I don't get updates unless I reach out to them and anytime I do they tell me they're trying to get Chrysler to give them something else to try. I get the car back and it only runs for one six days at the most and the same issue reoccurs. These guys don't know what they're doing. Take your car somewhere else for service. This place is a joke. I was wanting to pay cash for a used vehicle. I had about 80% of the cash and was waiting for the rest of the funds to be deposited to my account. I called ahead and inquired if I could place a deposit or something down while I waited for the remaining funds. I spoke with Dean and told him that I was waiting on the rest of the money with the banks. He assured me that I could put a portion down- he even specified $500 and that they could hold it for usually a week. No problem. I was literally just waiting for the funds to be deposited to my account. I very clearly communicated that I was going to pay cash and didn't have interest in financing. Scheduled a time to come check out the vehicle- we liked it and we were ready to put the money down. Only to be told by a separate sales man that they couldn't do that- contrary to what Dean told us. We were told the only option was to pay the full amount right then and there or get it financed. I get it, if that's what their policies were, but again- not what was communicated to us by Dean. We left and of course were irritated we completely wasted our time. Really feel like they were switching the narrative and didn't want to work with us. Texted Dean and stated that the sales person present didn't want to work with and he tried to tell me that I communicated that I was getting financing through my personal bank and that I was changing my story. Um no? Your personal assumptions on my finances does equate to what was actually communicated. Morale of the story, even with cash these guys don't want to work with you and try to belittle you after you call them out. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

The service department attempts to gouge you for money even if it means breaking nickels guarantees. I was guaranteed 9.99 oil changes for life , but the last few times they have tried to charge me anywhere from 4 to 40 dollars more using the " shop supplies" lie . Today I gave in because I needed to leave . At this point it's not about the money it's about the dishonesty. Over the years they have even tried things like this when my vehicle had a warranty. Service department: Don't schedule an appointment. It's first come first serve. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation weeks ago. I show up right on time, no one helps me, I have to search for a bit and find someone to let them know I have an appointment in a few minutes. They proceed to tell me that it will take two hours to even get me in because of all of the people who didn't make appointments ahead of me. People who are late to their appointments show up, they walk outside to greet them, help them and they put them before me as well. I make them give me my key and I leave furious. I will NEVER come back. I just decided to go to a different dealer and they actually helped me out. They did have the decency to let me know that during the week it is much easier to get in. I was a loyal customer here for 9 years. I purchased a new Jeep with a lifetime warranty and got all my service work done there, so I could use the warranty when I needed it. They had a chance to let me know at 5 years in that I needed an obscure, fine print inspection done to keep my warranty. I was there 30 days before the inspection was due and I was not notified. I spent $1,000 on repairs during that visit. I even asked a few times, is there any thing else I need to do to keep my warranty, and was told no. You guessed it. I needed to use the warranty later and couldn't bc it expired due to me not getting a certain inspection done. Bought a new Jeep this year. Guess what. Didn't buy it at Chris Nikel. Never will again. They lost my business and I warn anyone I can they care more about profit than customers. It cost a grand total of $800 to fix what I wanted to use my warranty for. They could have honored that and I would have bought my next Jeep there. read more

It will take 3 days. Need your brakes looked at? It will take 3 days. They only tell you this once you've dropped off your car. They are always behind and tell you "sorry, we are swamped". The entire reason I made this appointment with this dealership (a 45 minute drive from where I am) was to get it taken care of today as I have a 14 hour drive I was supposed to have left for hours ago. I had a good experience with the sales side of Chris Nikel but the service department is lacking. During the first warranty visit they had to replace a window regulator and all of the door panel hardware (screws and plugs) was left on my floor, along with one of their tools, not securing the door panel to the car as it should have been. They also left a bunch of grease smudges on the headliner and steering wheel, scratched the door panel and damaged the turn signal stalk. The second visit was for an unrelated issue but I asked them to take care of the problems that weren't addressed (and caused) during the first visit and they completely blew them off. Although I described the issues clearly over the phone, they were completely undocumented. Again they were clueless when I picked it up and didn't even offer a half-hearted apology. I realize it's a cheap car but I would expect at least some minimal standard of service and respect towards customers. read more

I have been using this dealership for years for oil changes and tire rotation. I had one rude salesman when I was looking to purchase a new one ton truck, but I continued to use them for service and have since always purchased my vehicles from other dealerships. If there was ever any issue with the service they made it right until this time. I had scheduled service for two minor things and it took me 2 weeks to get in. I was told I would be provided a rental. I called the day before to make sure it would be of the same size or larger because I had agreed to take people to the airport with golf bags, etc. I was assured again no problem. Show up this morning after driving 35 mins to find out I was to pay for the rental car. They offered to shuttle me home, but I have arrangements made where I needed a vehicle. Total waste of my time and clearly don't care to make it right with the customer. I will now take my business somewhere else. I am close to trading in my jeep too and thought about giving them a shot. Definitely not. read more

The level of customer service is horrible in the service department. We had tires put on, and some recall work, and had a couple little things that we wanted them to give us an estimate on in their body shop. Minor door dings, lightbulb, etc. It took days, literally days, for them to get back to us. We had to continually call the service department to find an update/status report on our vehicle. Often times we would get voicemail, and no one actually answered the phone. Needing some items from our vehicle, we came by the service department to see if our vehicle was done. They run around here confused like -ridiculously-with multiple papers in their hand not seeming to know what is actually happening. They kept telling us that they were going to check on the status of our vehicle, and would leave, not return, and then we would see them helping someone else. Upon asking again what the status was, they still weren't sure. They finally came back to us and said they would close out our ticket, but they still never made it over to the body shop to get an estimate on the door ding we were asked about and another small interior aesthetic repair. We will be taking our vehicle to another body shop to get an estimate on our own since they didn't seem to care enough to keep our business at their dealership. After the disorganization, indifferent and lacking customer service, I wouldn't use them for bodywork anyway. If you have another choice to get your vehicle repaired, use it. read more

I contacted this dealership regarding a used car they had in stock. While evaluating the listed price I found new and used models for less than what they had listed. They had said they will price match and won't be beaten by other dealers but they lied. Their best offer was taking off $200, which was still more expensive than other dealers, even the new models! The excuse they gave me for charging more is because they've been in business longer and no other dealer treats their customers the way they do. They were right, they treat customers horribly! I would never recommend this dealership as they did nothing but lie and to top it off they also are sarcastic to customers, when I mentioned that used cars wouldn't cost the same as new ones their sales rep Dean replied "ok, thank you for your critical auto knowledge. The truck came back to me in good condition and it was treated well by the mechanics. The balance of my experience was substandard at best. I had an appointment at 7:15 am that was confirmed 5 days prior. I was notified 10 hours later that the vehicle would not even be completed that day for a job that should have taken 3 hours, worst case. It is unprofessional and unacceptable to not honor an appointment. I understand they make more money on non-warranty work, but that is not an excuse to not honor an appointment confirmed no less than two times. Fortunately for me and unfortunately for them, there are easily two dozen Dodge dealerships within a reasonable distance. With that much competition, one would think they would try harder to make a good first impression. read more
