He worked with us to get exactly what we wanted within our budget. When he took our posed pictures he was kind enough to let the anxious family members get their shots in too. We were impressed at the wedding reception with how he sort of blended in, he was always in the background but taking wonderful pictures the whole time. We love all of the candid shots and reliving all that happiness by looking at his pictures. His second photographer, Tina Silva, was also amazing. She felt like an aunt, so sweet and encouraging while taking pictures. Her photos were just as impressive, and again, we barely knew she was there capturing these wonderful moments. ​ I want to start off by saying we've been using the hartsocks since my daughter was 1 years old…read morenow 10 . Also giving them 2.5 weeks to respond. We used to love going for the quick shoots and always enjoyed them and their children taking the pictures never had one issue. Recently they started using somebody that was not their family and the quick shoot was under 2 minutes and very rushed not the Hartsocks experience that we were used to we've allowed this two sessions already Christmas and easter. I brought it up in an email the disappointment and he offered half off a session for Mother's Day which we will not be using. I requested a 50% refund on the $75 Easter pictures that were all the same . No response at all it's been two and a half weeks no response . I think that if they do quick shoots they should be able to do the quick shoots like they used to or not do them at all. The prices have already gone up and they are no longer using family which is all right but at least train the photographer to take several pictures be interactive Etc like the hartsocks children always have done. ​​ so disappointing it had to go down that way when we and family and friends have been using them for years . I just feel like if they cannot provide the experience they've had this whole time anymore because they are busy or their children are busy that is fine but they should not do the quick shoots or train the person to be like them. 5 minute shoot turned into 2 minute shoot was not very friendly all the pictures were exactly the same $75 was definitely not worth it so disappointing will not be returning !

During quarantine I finally purchased a sunflower quick shot with the Hartstocks and both Lindsey and Kyle were amazing! They were professional, social distanced and made our shoot so much fun! Lindsey made my entire family feel so special and the pictures came out amazing! Proof is in the pics. I definitely recommend the Hartstocks for all your photography needs or if you need some sunshine in your life.

In response to being inferred to as scammer - I've attached the said cancelled contract. Along with his response where he tried to make out he had said no originally to the request (I would have left this review blank otherwise). Its ok to say no and its ok not to have drawn up a contract, but its not ok to call potential customers scammers.
