She is SO patient. My newborn was wide awake before the shoot started and she took her time...(2 hours or more) helping me get the baby to sleep (mixture of me nursing and Michelle swaying/singing to baby). Eventually baby fell into deep sleep and we got excellent, I mean excellent pictures. For the moms out there, Michelle has everything you need. She even thought of things that I never ever ever thought she would have (for example: a boppy pillow for nursing, space heater to keep newborn warm, white noise on blast to help soothe infant !). She is so very thoughtful. Michelle is a down to earth professional and I wish we could have had this experience with our first baby. Or even for our wedding or maternity photos. We found her late, but better late than never! She did just move to the area from washington earlier this year. The price is affordable for all the detail and time she takes with her clients. She went above and beyond what a photographer would typically do. She took time to scout out areas beforehand as Tyler and I were out-of-towners, and have never visited Santa Fe, New Mexico before. Her knowledge and helpful guidance really made this experience wonderful. Chrisi was always quick to respond to any question I had or photo example I sent. Due to traveling issues, we were only able to meet one day before our ceremony and even then, she made us feel like we had known one another for years. I appreciated her patience and positivity throughout the day. During our ceremony, Chrisi was quick, quiet and respectful. When we received our photos back, we were amazed at how well Chrisi reflected our love for each other, the outdoors and adventure. She has such a natural style of photography and ability to capture the beauty in every moment which made the photos absolutely stunning. A few weeks after our wedding, Chrisi sent us an engraved wooden box that was hand crafted by her father (so special). The box was filled with printed photos, a frame, flash drive, and soap from her family's shop! This is truly something we will treasure forever.
